Be warned, they breed like rabbits. As long as they are in water I swear they will breed. Fun fact: Even if you keep 2-3 female there is a chance the most dominant one turn into male and they make tiny guppies. The only way to don't breed them is to keep males, they can't turn into females. As pros say: "Every newbie aquarist's first challenge is to learn how to avoid breeding livebearers, especially guppies, because 3 can be 33 under 2 week". 😉

Keep 1 betta fish in there with them. I keep a female betta in my guppy tank and it keeps population under control.

@@wadeevans4355 that’s smart idea to keep guppy population. 👏👏

@@wadeevans4355 Bettas should be alone in their own tank, that's what they prefer, they aren't community fish. Yes they eat newborn guppies but the presence of adult guppies can cause stress to the betta and harmful to its mental health and lead to other internal issues which can kill the betta in long term. Also important to mention that the betta is much more expensive than any guppy, it would be a waste to let it go like this. However there are more valid options, for example adult mexican swordtail fish in the guppy tank, they are active hunters of every baby fish while they are also livebearers like the guppies, just much bigger. I used to hear black and golden mollies are good at population control too, but I just simply buy male guppies when I want to keep em, that's the straight method and gives less headache than any other method.

@@Jack_Splendens I have heard this before and would agree it would stress them in an open tank but I have always kept heavily planted tanks with lots of hiding places. The female betta will usually pick her out an area and chill. I have never had an issue but iv never tried it in an open tank or small tank but I am open to trying out the swordtail fish if they go a good job.

Looks amazing, I’d be tempted to put some black card behind the tank. Looking forward to you getting more haha

Guppies can be kept in cold water, in brackish and in saltwater, mollies as well but it takes a acclimation process.

As we have subs from different countries, Price point is hard to cover bro. Bettas sell for $20 in USA, will be sold in India/Thailand for $2. Im still thinking how to comes with price videos, because whatever price you say.. it may look high for few & really cheap for western countries. Thanks for suggestion 👍👍

@@aquadiaryofficial we are really looking for the India perspective because the price is very different for the seller personally farming them and selling for unnecessary price by the way I like your betta collection it's really cool
