WOW, you are becoming more knowledgable, proficient, professional with every video. Your new intro is awesome, thoroughly enjoyed learning about this new beauty!
Picking up one of these tomorrow! I’ll have a terrarium set up and a humidifier near it. And the seller has it currently in leca!! Thanks for the tips ☺️
Im getting a seedling from a friend and i need help ASAP!! it will be at my planty table with around 30 plants and an humidifier (70/85%) and i have a normal bulb no grow light on them.. i really want it to become a big plant so all help is welcome.
That’s awesome! The humidity you have it in will benefit it greatly! Idk where you live but I live in the north east so it’s getting colder and a lot less light so if that’s the case for you I would definitely recommend getting some artificial lighting for it! This plant is very tolerant of missing a watering but will quickly yellow if overwatered so I’d stay to the side of underwatering definitely! Good luck growing your baby plant if you have any other questions feel free to ask!! Thanks for watching!
I have an aglaonema pictum tricolor but it’s like just a stick with one root growing out of it. It’s taken a long time for that to grow. I’ve had it in a terrarium on a heat mat under a grow light. How long should I wait for potting, and do the leafs come out when the roots have all grown in? There’s like a tiny little leaf like growth that came out but not like a full leaf. Thanks in advance.
I would wait until the roots are established enough to provide the nutrients the plant needs. It doesn’t have to be a massive root system but you definitely want a few roots grown in before potting. Don’t let them get to long though especially if rooting in water cause then it will be harder for the plant to acclimate into the soil. That leaf like growth will probably be where the plant starts to push out its leaves from once it has established enough of a root system to care for it. Thank you for watching! Good luck with your aglaonema, this plant from my experience has been a pretty easy grower and can definitely take more neglect than most other plants.
Check eBay! That’s where I got mine! Also GreenSpacesID a plant shop that ships to US from Indonesia has them at a very reasonable price you just have to keep checking until they restock them! It’s a beautiful plant I love it! Hope you come across one soon for yourself! Thank you for watching!
@@NailzByA thank you. I have found a couple, tho not always in the best of shape. Price means nothing, if it's what I really want. $250/each, is cheap, compared to some Philodendron varieties 🧐🤔
Yes I agree but it definitely has to be worth the money I’m spending for sure! Unfortunately so many people are taking advantage and selling beat up rare plants for a fortune or the smallest piece for a fortune! Keep your eye tho I’ve learned to be patient I would buy the first one of what I wanted and pay whatever but then always see one a few days later for a better price and a better plant lol I’ve learned to wait and the right one will come!
I got mine off of eBay but there are 2 shops I believe both in Indonesia that sell this plant. GreenSpacesID and AroidMarket. Right now they are both out of stock so just keep checking in for them to restock or check eBay!!
@lillamy2896 yes price has gone down which is great! I’d say it’s definitely harder than other agleonemas but if you give it what it needs it should grow good for you! Good luck!
The compact form is the “only” way to go for the a. pictumtricolor (APC) in my opinion. I also have the compact form but just chopped it up for propagation 45 days ago. Some APCs have much more beautiful foliage (the camo is bright white and the leaves artificially look matte...very nice ) but the stems are too long which look like the shape of a coconut tree. However, the compact form can grow tall as well if it doesn’t get enough light/water/nutrients.
Yes I agree! I think they look a lot nicer and fuller compact but your definitely right on that one if they don’t get enough light they do stretch out! Thanks for watching! Hope to see you in the next one!!
Is the Aglaonema Pictum Tricolor on YOUR wish list or do you already have this beautiful plant?!
