Gary just to review your review....you really have a great tone/vibe with amazing detail. Regardless of price I find shoe reviews super helpful because I will often bite the bullet for comfort and feel. I have flat duck feet so I sometimes find it a challenge to make them happy!
Another top notch review Gary. Sounds like a decent daily trainer. Comfortable and.capable. The looks of them ain't bad either. Cheers for sharing your thoughts and feelings mate. 😎🤘
Another good review there Gary. Looks like they would have been good for my LL50 trip next weekend, bitty late now. Will check out Sport shoes at some point. G
My review owning these: - VERY plush walking on cloud feeling, which is fine for flat trail running/walking, but when combined with the stock stretchy laces and soft upper I do not feel as confident in these hiking on rocky/rooty trails. - Very good grip. - Looks good, the grey accents are not sparkley like on NB website. - My size 10 is about 0.25 size longer than my other shoes. - The rear mud flap seems perfectly designed fling copious amounts of sand into the opening of the shoe. The lack of a gusseted tongue doesn't help here. Avoid these if walking/running on sand. Would I recommend... unsure. Depends on how you intend to use them.
2 hikes in I can confirm tread is grippy and ok for hiking, but I think the smaller tread blocks will wear faster than the chunkier heel blocks on V7. The foam is WAY softer than V7, this can be a positive or negative depending on use case - nice plushness on smoother trails but too soft imo for hiking on technical trails.

Thanks Steve, appreciate it buddy! I always worry about doing shoe reviews. So much of it is subjective, but these are so comfortable 🙌🏻
Could you use these for roads if you ran both trail and roads on seperate runs?
Yeah, I suppose so. I’d prefer shoes with less grip, but the foam is nice and soft so it should feel fine.

Aw, thanks Ben! Yeah, my go to daily trail shoe 👌🏻

Thanks for watching Graeme 👍🏻 Yeah, a great all round show 🙌🏻 Good shout for the 50 or the 100 too 🤞
I did the 50 in Hierro 7s last year and will wear them this, the 8s seem good but my feet slid around in them too much downhill

Thanks Ryan 🙌🏻 Great input 👍🏻
Wicked!! 🔥 These look spicy!
Thanks mate, yeah, a great shoe. Nothing glamorous, but they just get the job done ☑️
Loved the v7 but I had heard this version has less volume in the toebox, what's your take on the updates?
I’m happy with the toe box room. So far no rubbing or blisters.
Looking for a new soft ride after the hoka carbons
You might like these. Won’t break the bank too 🙌🏻
much difference with these and the gore tex version? except the obvious ha
Good question! I don’t know. Hopefully just the obvious 😄
Thanks for the reply, subscribed!
I like the tread of v7 better. These don't look good for hiking.
Good shout! They have been fine for my hikes though 👍🏻
