Performed at the Hanoi Opera House on December 11, 2022, here is Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo's most famous work - the Concierto de Aranjuez. The SSO and Music Director Olivier Ochanine are joined by the fabulous Korean guitarist Bokyung Byun.

This is the first time I have come across Byun. What a star! She is so capable and assured with her techniques; the interpretation of Rodrigo's work is simply extraordinary. She played it as beautifully and technically competently as any famous worldwide guitarist I have seen before. I fell in love with Bokyung Byun literally by the end of this video:}

고교생 때 인가 변 보경 학생얘기를 조 국건씨께서 여러번 칭찬을 하시는말씀을 들어 어떤 친군지 궁금했었읍니다.
정말 훌륭한 연주가로 일취월장 하셨군요. 우리 한국인은 기타 DNA가 스페니쉬 사람들과 다른가 했더니 아니란걸 증명해 주셨읍니다.

何気ない表情だが、技巧・情緒も申し分なく、ツボに嵌まっていて名曲を充分に堪能させて戴いた。素晴らしい。ブラボー！
변보경 님은 아랑훼즈 협주곡에 완전한 이해를 하시고 기타 연주를 하시는 군요. 들을수록 가슴을 울리는 이 곡. 감상 잘 했습니다.

I had a chance to watch this concerto that was performed at the Sydney Opera House 7 years back with my family when we're visiting Australia. It's intriguing to listen this piece from Hanoi Opera House. I've studied classical guitar at the Saigon conservatory for few years in 1980s before I left the country . Hey, Hanoi is about 75 km from my ancestral home in Nam Dinh that my family had left for the South in 1954.

선 오케스트라는 베트남이 거금을 들여 키우는 악단으로 아는데 베트남인 댓글이 전무하네. 키타는 잘 모르는데 독주부분에서 형설의 공을 느낀다.
I'm sorry to have to say this but in the first bars of the Adagio score the english horn is not respecting the time. He's getting ahead, he's running. The beauty was lost. I've listened to this concert about 500 times. Bokyung Byun is a pleasant surprise, I didn't know her, she's a great guitarist.

장대건인가 누군가가 연주한거 보면 운지가 불안정해서 삑사리 날까 박자 미스 날까 조마조마 하고 본 기억이 있는데
이 분 연주 보니 화음이나 아르페지오 스케일 연주가 안정적이고 속도감이 뛰어난데도 불안한 구석이
전혀 없네요...멋지고 아름다운 명 연주네요...
