Hi all! Exciting news - we've integrated a PDF Reader right into ChatGPT. It's built to handle large PDFs with ease and is completely free for you to use. 👉 GPT [PDF Reader] - chat.openai.com/g/g-QSh6KHL3S-pdf-reader
Great stuff. Thanks, Corbin. I like this hands-on practical approach a lot. And it's cool you don't waste your time creating "explosions" and the like. If I wanna see that, I'll watch an action block-buster...
Hi there, Is there a way to implement the created gpt in a website as chatbot? In your Video, we can create and publish as a public gpt, but users need to have an account to use it. In my scenario, I want my gpt to be used as a support on our website. There will be a floating button that people can simply click and start chatting. Thank you in Advance, Cheers
How do actions work? I tried to connect my gpt with Spotify but somehow there is an error with zapier. Is it possible to connect those apps without zapier?

@@Corbin_Brown I completely understand that. But there are many users on YT who have English as their 2nd or 3rd language and we also want to follow along 😉 I slowed down the playback speed and got it all 👍🇩🇰
Man, your content is incredible and I SUPER appreciate the time and effort you put into it. If you could just do me one favor, "there" = place, "their" = possessive. Sorry, seeing that wrong makes my eyes bleed :)
Thanks! In the context of how secure the data is, in the configuration, there is the option of "Additional Settings." Use conversation data in your GPT to improve our models. If you uncheck this, OpenAI claims they won't use the conversational data in training their models. Furthermore, make sure your app is private so no user can access it! Regarding sizing, I haven't personally tested it, but I would recommend uploading a significant number of files and checking for any warnings. As a general rule of thumb, make sure to train GPT to access only specific documents for relevant contexts of inputs from the user.
Hey Corbin, if your goal is to create a personal assistant, how is creating a GPT for personal use different from using the "Fine Tuning" feature that Chatgpt has. For full context, I have not explored the "Fine Tuning" feature yet, but I understand that it exists.
So, the way I see it is that GPTs are an upgraded version of custom instructions. Custom instructions are still valuable, but now with GPTs, I can create these custom instructions, load them with data, and access outside APIs. Therefore, if I am creating a private GPT for a specific use case in my company, let's say, for my finances, I can be confident that I won't waste time re-proctoring GPT on my data, and it knows its specific function!
@@Corbin_Brown Do you think in the future that zapier will have a trigger from a GPT to perform an action? Looks like this is not available yet, but could be very cool if this was implimented.
@@EricHardek I like this idea. I think a workaround, which I'll showcase in a future video, will involve setting up a webhook and achieving what is described here. Exciting stuff!
Yes, but as I understand from reported on X, be careful that the files you upload are actually yours, open source or non copyrighted. But with a simple prompt users can see and download these files. What's you take on this, Corbin?
I would suggest approaching this case-by-case. Don't put sensitive data in a public app, as this can lead to potential issues. However, much of the data we provide in the context of a public app is solely for training purposes. For private apps, sensitive data could be included, but ensure not to share the link and also select the option in configuration to prevent sharing chat data with OpenAI. I hope this helps!
It's all good brother. From what I've seen, your prompting style (highly conversational) is far and away much more effective than so many others I've seen. Great stuff. @@Corbin_Brown
Hey Corbin! your videos are always great and helpful. I have one quick question. Since it is possible to create an Assistant APi on the OPENAI platform, what is the use of chatbot builders like Voiceflow, botpress , Stack AI etc.?
lol i was thinking the same thing you mentioned around the 28 min mark about htem being biased i was like bro what if someone made with the title being X and its really all about Y instead like imagine you go to a custom GPT and you're there to find out movie show times at the theater and it starts trying to get you to join a political cult (religion has been replaced by politics and some people are in a in a cult over it)

I wonder who will have access to the gpts store, paid users or public to everyone?
Great tutorial, looking forward to learning how we can integrate automations within GPTs like sending emails and scheduling calendar events
I plan to launch a video on this topic today!
@@Corbin_Brown amazing!
I am wondering how can we use this on our websites ?
Do users using the app spend tokens and who pays for the tokens? Is there a more extensive text somewhere? I only come across brief information
From morning I watched more than 5 videos all were same, but finally now I found a detailed video of you on my bed.
FYI, chaptering would help a lot!
its possible upload a csv file then ask to gpt questions about the file content?
Yea!
Hi Corbin, to use GPT-4 Turbo with vision I have to create an action, right?
This is great stuff. Thanks Corbin.
Thank you for taking your time with us BRO!
🙌
how can you implement custom GPT into a website chatbot API?
Is it possible to place the application on Google play store or Aple store?
As of now, no, it seems they will be creating their own ecosystem for this.

Making a video showcasing how to use actions today!
I want to know how can you make it follow business processes . Ie. Ask for customer payment before sending a API call.
We will jump into more complex tutorials like this in the future!

What's the point if i need chatgpt plus subscription.
