I figured I could just plug the dongle in, pair the damn headphones, and be good. NEVER woulda thought I'd have to go into System Settings. Thanks a lot, dude!
After clicking Add Bluetooth or other device nothing happened. Taking my own advice, the very first thing I did was restart my computer. Presto! Clicked on Add Bluetooth, it recognized my headset and I was able to add it. Before I reached the 2:26 mark I finished listening to TechManZ's instructions through my Bluetooth headphone for the remainder of the video.

The only way I could fix that, and I tried reinstalling the driver and uninstalling, repairing and troubleshooting, I tried everything, but if you reinstall windows it will be fine again.
It's just that your computer doesn't have or support bluetooth
Your motherboard does not have built in bluetooth
@@Seecret that's not always true as in my case and many others, updates can take the option away but you can fix it like I did. It's always best to look up your model though.
@@Faxy95 Yeah but most people have auto updates on so literally 99% of the time it's because it's not supported

Unfortunately, when I connected a pair of working out Bluetooth earbuds to my own desktop pc, it connected the audio but didn’t connect a voice or microphone. My microphone feature with sharing with other devices is turned on. Any ideas or help?

what do i do if i bluetooth headset is detected a phone? So let me explain, when I'm trying to connect my headset, it will show the headset icon. Later on, after connecting my headset, it shows a phone icon and says "connected music". no audio is being transmitted to my headset. please help

Got a problem, when I pair my Skullcandy Crusher to the PC (via dongle) it shows up 2 devices, one normal and one handsfree. If I want to use the headphone's mic, the headphone's audio quality just drops down to a level where its not even understandable what others say. Any help?
Help please, when I uncheck hands free telephony, I can't select the liberty headphones as output for sound, only laptop speakers. I can see it's still connected on bluetooth.

Why do you people not understand that you need some type of Bluetooth adapter or built in antenna for it to actually, you know, support Bluetooth at all?
It's probably because you don't have bluetooth on your pc. you may want to purchase a bluetooth dongle.

Does the Bluetooth adapter for the pc make the sound quality worse for the headphones?
@ No like when you plug it in to connect your headphones does the sound quality drop compared to connecting it to your phone with bluetooth?

ugh. why is it that nothing i look up for this works the way its shown. i paired my earbuds and they said they were connected in blue tooth settings but my output didnt read them at all. they were still set to my speakers. then when i somehow miraculously got my pc output to recognize the earbuds there still was no sounds coming from them

I can connect to my Sony Bluetooth headphones. However, it does not put them under audio tab. It puts them under “Other”. When connected I can’t go to sounds/playback and select them as an audio device because they aren’t listed. Any suggestions?

Worked perfectly man! What I didn't see by going through the Settings screen is my phone was already connected to my PC via Bluethooth. I did the way you showed, saw that and turned my phone bluetooth off. Bada boom - connected immediately. THANK YOU!

In my case, windows 10 were recognizing my bluetooth ear phones as isn't a audio device, so I needed to stop the connection between cell phone and ear phones, that were still active, and connect again to windows bluetooth, so it works fine!
