"Why are you doing this?"
"Because we thought that you were worth saving!"
It's OK, he ended up joining the Central City PD. Even got promoted to Captain.
That's True
I was so happy when I found out he was joining the Flash and he did not disappoint! He was one of my favorite characters in the show!
Now he's a professor and an FBI consultant.
@@MAXIMUS172 That’s a good show. A tad silly, but good.
I see what you guys are doing. 🤣
I like the Detective Green Era of Law and Order he's one of my favorite Detective of this series.
Your worth Saving.
Detective Ed Green's final episode, which reveals that after former Detective Lennie Briscoe died, Green turned to gambling with April for a short time to cope with the loss of his former partner. Briscoe & Green is forever the best cop duo of the original Law & Order.
My dad used to play poker with Jerry Orbach in Las Vegas. He would always remind him that his daughter was madly in love with him through his years on L&O. I miss him dearly
What about Briscoe and Curtis?
@@matthewnaughton4213 Briscoe & Curtis is okay but Briscoe & Green is absolutely the best duo since they both have similar traits in their police work.
No doubt.
Really better Ray, or Logan
Even though Merkerson (Van Buren) and Waterston (McCoy) were still there until the end of original run, Martin's (Green) leave after this episode was basically the end of that era. Really wished he stayed until season 20's end, but he really did miss stage work.
Can't help having an itch to return to Broadway. And I agree with you 100%.
If anything, they should've had Mike Logan return to 2-7 to replace Lennie. He and Ed together would've been very memorable.
Is this bout the time he joined the Flash?
@@SacGhostbustersNo, the Flash was quite a bit after this. Like 6 or 7 years out after his departure
we thought you was worth saving but don''t mind us harassing your friend and stuff
You were, not you was. Talk like a human
"Worth saving"? So ruining my life and my friends' lives is the "saving" part?
@@andrewfalconer8599 Did you go to prison/? Receive a criminal record?
the detective Green and Lenny Briscoe are my favorite episodes to watch
There will never be another. LENNY BRISCOE, but Dt. Green was such a great character
Who needs 43 minutes of an episode?
I do 😊
Ed Green was always my favorite! ❤
moral lesson do not teach or be a gambling addict or get addicted to gambling
Easy to say, somewhat less easy to do. Addicts are not logical and it's painful to watch.
This was the episode that was pretty painful for Green after the loss of briscoe. Gambling has taken a heavy toll on him. It was the only comfort zone he had. I miss Ed Green wish he was still on the show
"Because we thought you were worth saving." Disappointed, he climbed back into a starship, crossed the galaxy, to wipe out the entire Furian race, except for Riddick
At least he eventually moves to Central City. Became a Captain, and took in a young boy named Barry Allen who would one day be the fastest man alive.
Great to see Antwon Mitchell turn his life around and move from Farmington in LA to NYC to be a detective
The Shield was such an awesome show! I used to watch it religiously when it came on FX.
Green also has two complaints for excessive force against him. Prosecution could also bring that up too.
It seems like a lot of the detectives in Law & Order seem to get off after killing someone.
i remember this people will never expect who is on the crime scene
“None of this is admissible.” 👀 🤨 🧐
Green and Lupo made a nice team, anyway Cyrus had his motives to investigate by himself
Cutter was always an egotistical jerk
@N1120A Hey! That's Batman's dad you're talking about 🥷
That ADA Cutter is a little snake
Ben Stone was my favourite ADA he basically stayed within the law when prosecuting whereas Jack sometimes seemed to be as slimy as some defence attorneys
And then they were both charged with crimes! Lawyer up people. Cops are sympathetic to you, they don't think, "aw I guess they were justified, because of what happened to them." Nope, a confession during an interrogation is admissible in court. Get yourself a lawyer. Always always always. Never talk to the police without a lawyer present. Even if you are just trying to do the right thing, do the right thing with a lawyer. Otherwise you have nothing to negotiate with. You might get reduced time with a plea bargain. You won't get a plea bargain if you're willing to give it away for free.
Their actually cops...
The ones admitting
Lenny and Ed were the best. Ed didn't murder Byunny, he shot back in defense. He should have been more straight up.
Am I the only one who hates McCoy?
When Green left, the show was finally dead.
Dude him and Curtis . Love them
I love her when she played as Coretta Scott King.
Around season five of the flash the actor, jesse l martin Suffer the back injury, You have to take time off. That's why we didn't see him as much during that whole season, They say he's all better now and we got to see more of them.Just not as much as before.
Never knew that.
Det. Lupo went down a dark path after being rejected by Cher Horowitz.
RUN BARRY……..
JOE WEST 🔥
So this guy is very bad and I so sorry for loss.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Detective Green the Marvin Gaye we deserved but never got...
I love how they quickly believe a cop is guilty if he is poc but if clear its no way. He's a good cop! 😂😂😂
How do you get to that point.
@@firefox5714 by living 53 years and observing
At least he’s starring in another crime show with the name Alec Mercer
Don’t bet ten quid and I win ten quid ❤I win.
First
I liked Detective Green. One of the best on the series...
yup
Wasn't this up on this channel as Detective Green Forced to Resign a couple weeks ago?
Yup this is same episode
Episode 14
4:44 king ecbert from vikings. always liked this actor, he's a bit of a chameleon like gary oldman
also the necromonger furian from Riddick
@pasques king ecbert's actor was that guy too? Cool.
Bro was tipping off suspects in murder investigations and about to go to court and lie under oath that was not a cop worth saving, Dude still got to retire even though he got a suspect in an active investigation killed by tipping baby girl off.
Well, at least she gave up gambling. She gave up a chance that she'd go to prison and lose her daughter and went for the sure thing that would send her to prison and make her lose her daughter.
Its actually Season 18 Ep 14 come on NBC get it together
Came here for Flash comments
Thankfully, young Barry Allen knew none of this.
After he leaves the NYPD, he transfers to Central City under a new name.
He should have been charged and sent to prison.
You should zip it pinhead.
He still murdered the guy though. They acted at the end like it cleared him but, it didn't. It just proved she was in on it. If anything, it confirms first degree murder.
It confirms jackshit.
It confirms you know nothing.
@@TheBatugan77 You need help. Something is very wrong.
