Men I thought You were going to have a stroke! When You were talking about that door lock fuse. Fuses are always the first thing to check is a truck won't start or unlock. But it is a great truck! The Yellow hood looks good on it. Just paint it Yellow. lol Wish You the best with the truck, And don't ever sell it! 👍

Funny story but I live near San Antonio and I actually went to Copart in corpus to look at this truck and see what damages it had and bidded on it but lost two a guy in Arizona 😂 glad it went to a good home and found out what was wrong with it,wish you the best of luck.

Thanks! You’re now the third bidder I’ve met! lol When I was picking it up, there was a guy there picking up a truck and he also bided on it. He ended up buying a power stroke. Then when I went to the O’Reilly‘s right down the street from the Copart(because I had to get some tools to take the fenders off of our trailer) Another guy was there who also bided on the truck and he asked how much it was after fees.. it was definitely damaged more than I thought. I probably wouldn’t have bided that high if I seen it in person lol but it’s all good now and it’s going to get painted next week. It’s a good truck but probably gonna sell it soonish maybe.. because I really want a 3rd gen mega cab Cummins and if I can find one with a manual, that would be insanely awesome! But I have since bought another truck actually in Utah, just a gas 1500 of course sight unseen and it had a little more rust than I was hoping for, but will still probably make money on that one… I’m probably gonna stick to Arizona for now on so I can go look at them first lol How do you go about looking at them at the yard? Do you just walk in and ask or do you have to have anything done in advance?

@@The02CumminsRAM yea a third gen mega cab with a g56 would be super awesome but kinda rare in some ways. But yes pretty much all the ones I’ve been to in Texas( been to 4 total) have all been the same, you walk in give them your account number and then give them the lot number your wanting to look at ,then they will give you the row and lane that it is in. But yea super easy and I try to stay away from sight unseen buys but sometimes it’s not worth the drive just to find out it’s worse than it really is. Also quick question do you make pretty good money flipping them once you rebuild them?

Thanks, I think I’m gonna stick to buying in Arizona and checking them out first!
I don’t know yet.. the green one is my first copart truck and I just picked up my second, still haven’t sold anything lol
I’m hoping to make a little bit on the green one, but I made the most last year when I bought a wholesale Cummins through my work, made triple what I paid for it..
