Funny that 400k is considered "cherry". Mine is less than 200k, 1998.4, long bed, stick shift 12v. Not a dent on the truck because the PO didn't use it as a farm truck or work vehicle. The driver seat isn't even ripped.
Had the rack hang on my off the trailer pass. Did 6.62 @ 105 and kept pulling. Air and fuel shutoff did their jobs but man that’s a scary feeling on the track
I would suggest adding a ball valve beside the seat so you can turn the fuel off as well. Sometimes an air kill won’t do the job especially if you were to pop an interstage or blow a compressor wheel on a twin setup it can still scream on what is left.
Will Terry the narrator giving Morgan Freeman a run for the money, lol. I'm guessing at full power on fuel only should hit 1350 with that charger set up and a 13 mm pump. Keep at it and hopefully learn from the failure to prevent it in the future.
Can you explain the hot retorque a bit. ARP says they don't recommend a retorque anymore but if you do, do it cold. I did a cold retorque on my last HG install. My thought was if the motor is hot, everything is expanded. If you retorque cold then the expansion when it warms up would only increase clamping force? Or are you running so close to the edge of the head studs, you are worried about that extra expansion?
Although ARP does not recommend a retorque (for fear of fastener failure, yield strength problems, etc) the longer you play with bigger power setups, the more head gasket failures you'll experience from lack of hot retorques. They are essential for proper fire ring crush... and yes, it is hard on the fasteners to do multiple hot retorques.
I love the channel, I love following the progress on the trucks and everything y'all do. Not hating but the motion picture just about makes it hard to watch
Once or twice with the rolling transitions is fine... But over and over again is a good way to get people to not watch the video. Hope your camera guy/edited is seeing this comment and the others. Made me dizzy. Love your content, this one was annoying. Not sure how whoever edited this was able to make it through without puking. Love what you guys did to the truck and all the details and the build. Just not loving the camera/edit work.
That camera flopping is aggravating. Felt like my face was getting dunked under water. Please no more videos like that again. I genuinely like the technical points of your videos.
All that camera flipping and rolling around made me feel like I ate some bad tacos too
Came here to say this.
Would be nice if your camera guy could figure out how to hold his camera still
Yeah, its not a porn flick. Its educational
he acts like its a damn call of duty montage
Woooo got dizzy had to turn it off but man stoked u got it rippin again!

Papasaurus, Awesome Name for the truck
Love your videos guys! Could you speak to the camera folks though... Little Motion sickness going on with the camera movement.
Dear lawd, I think I'm gonna be sicker than Will...
I agree, trying to be cinematic. It’s a great technique, just not every single transition.... Props for trying 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for the vids but please cut out that artsy sh#t with camera
9:32 Todd in the back ground is me when i hear a cummins down the street! lol
Awesome video Will you have had some real bad luck but hang in there it's going to be a great summer 😀
God bless you and stay safe 🙋♂️🇬🇧

i can’t wait to see the pulls with new pump. very cool
air setup. 👍
When I first glanced at the video I thought I saw PAPA PRIUS 😅
I think I like that name better
Me too
What size injectors did it have? 11blade or 13 blade g-trim? For most applications I like the 13's they drive the compressor a little better.
I would suggest adding a ball valve beside the seat so you can turn the fuel off as well. Sometimes an air kill won’t do the job especially if you were to pop an interstage or blow a compressor wheel on a twin setup it can still scream on what is left.
Great idea!!! Will is definitely going to add a fuel kill in both of his trucks!
@@pddofficial and a turbo oil cutoff
Its going to make all the horse power!
Awesome video guys ! What a great team !!
I wish you all the best for UCC 💪🏻🤞🏻
@1:55 Jesus I feel like I ate some bad tacos or something. hahaha
Myer putting that single life forearm to work!
Wow looking forward to the next video keep up the good work guys
excellent episode!!!
Can you explain the concept behind having a lot less boost than drive pressure meaning you have more room to add fuel a little more?
Why do I feel like I've spent 15 Min on the 'tilt o whirl', Oh maybe THAT'S why you were so sick! LOL
Awesome video !!
Do you not have a fuel shut off pull cord or something on the truck? Way to have a positive attitude! Great truck!
It will now have a manual shut off but it did not at this time
Did anyone manage to actually watch the sweeping camera shots without feeling a bit nausous? Made me wanna slap the cameraman......

That engine hoist jack is probably low on oil, therefore it doesn't move as quickly as it should. I know Harbor Freight's jacks come low on oil.
but if its full of oil how they couldnt spend 5 minutes screwing up a great video
What cam u are running?

Todd at the shop at 2am wow! I guess race truck > sleep lol.
12 valve right out the box I would say around 1036 horsepower
I love the channel, I love following the progress on the trucks and everything y'all do. Not hating but the motion picture just about makes it hard to watch
What happened to the Junker? From what I remember it had pretty similar setup.
It's still running and driving. It will be on the dyno soon, but not till we get through UCC Season (Ultimate Callout Challenge 2021).
Really bad camera work. Can't figure out what's going on.
2:58 I'm tapping out, I can't handle the camera moving around this much.
Cat fuel filter?
Yes, we were running a huge 2 micron CAT fuel filter to ensure the cleanest fuel possible, but it didn't matter!
Good morning fellas
I think Josh from RUclips spilled the beans. Ill watch anyway lol
No more weird camera shit
Good lord enough with the camera theatrics
Papa Saurus a fuckin beast 😂
Hell yeah
I want to build my 5.9 to the 6.4
Hold the damn camera still
What engine mounts do you guys run?
PapaSaurus still has factory engine mounts, it could definitely use some upgraded poly mounts!
Yeah stop flipping cam bro I got sick AF trying to make it though that’s a no go.
Just can't watch it... want to... but can't... camera... moving...
So I was close but if things went right my guess was way off, so....
nice
1750 HP Don't let me down! Lol

1st video I've watched that made me physically dizzy, the editing was the most frustrating part of the video.
That was actually some sick editing, I liked it a lot
Really love your guys talent, but the video really made me ill. I thought I was gonna puke.

Honestly the way he shot the engine install with the camera swooping around was annoying as #@%!
Agreed, that's not the way to add dramatic effect, I felt drunk lol
850
Go to junkyard digs utube channel and use there link to get yourself a electric cyst lift for your hoist.
then we can watch someone push the button 500 times in loop video with the cameraman jumping all over
634-1100
Anybody else now dizzy as fuck
663 hp
I think it'll make 700hp
Tell your camera man to relax a little with all the moving around
Issue should be fixed over the last year!
1380 is my guess.
936 hp...
Sorry guys but that crap with the camera is completely unwatchable!
Are you TRYING to give people motion sickness? Whoever shot the footage for this vid should be barred from touching a camera again!!
450 hp
That camera work at the beginning made me nauseous
Camera man drunk?
1500
1,450
I’m guessing about 1000 hp this is the first time I have seen this video
I wish I had seen the build videos I would have put my number higher
You guys do need to steady your camera guy.
I live in Indiana where can I find a good roller I have a complete drive train the metal is scrap I want a toy to play on the street with
