The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins: Book 1 Discussion

Thoughts based only on book 1 so far. I've started Catching Fire already and am enjoying the genuine character development happening for Katniss, to be discussed in the next video!

I kind of gambled on this series because I bought the whole trilogy at once without fully trusting the hype back when the movies were running and I didn't watch them. Jackpot! I was as involved in her story and character as I was in some of my childhood favourites and the books barely lasted a week if I remember correctly. Also, the movies turned out to be nice too.
Funnily, I too recently thought about re-reading the series but for now I think I'll enjoy your commentary instead :)
