Thank you so much for using your voice and platform to discuss the overturning of Roe. As a pediatrician/internal medicine physician and new mother I am horrified and outraged about what is happening. The women in our history fought for us and now it is our turn to fight like hell! Also holy cow Jackie - so glad you are okay!
So excited y'all are going to Rhinebeck this year! I have always wanted to go but don't really have a lot of knitting friends in real life so for now will just have to dream and live vicariously through you!
Thank you for your powerful words, and (as always) for all the inspiration. I’m feeling full of rage, too, and spending time with you here has brought some peace to my day. Jackie, I’m so happy to see you well again, and congratulations on four years! Looking forward to seeing you again in Rhinebeck! Love to you both. Xoxo
Happy 4 year podaversary. So happy for your health and recovery. And a special thanks for your courage to speak out and say what I have been feeling. You are an inspiration to me. Love your podcast!!
I appreciate your words, sentiments, and humanity. Thanks for being a woman-positive place to talk about our struggles right now, as well as the knitting that we all love.
I have had a best friend for over 60 years. We ended up being family. We were both so different but were very lucky like you two to find each other. It is wonderful you make the effort to get together. My best friend and I grew up together and ended up 2,000 miles apart only seeing each other once a year but talking for hours on the phone. She died one month ago and I am heartbroken but so thankful for our wonderful relationship for all these years. Hold on to each other tight. Very generous give away. I like the tool to fix mistakes. Love you two ladies!
Oh Sheri… what a beautiful friendship you shared-incredibly sorry for your loss. Treasure, yes; thank you for your generous words, holding you and your wisdom in our hearts.
Love you ladies 😍 I’m with you 100%. I’m a nurse , a mom of 3 and Grammy of 4 and the resent decision makes me so sad for my daughters and granddaughter but so grateful to live in the northeast USA. As a healthcare practitioner I understand the need for safe access to All healthcare. Keep up the great words- Jackie- I’m getting to love your poetry moments🥰
Beautiful podcast as always, ladies. Thank you for being brave and speaking truth as women. I’m glad you’re sharing this important message in addition to the joy you also bring. You (each/both/we/us/all) have such power within us. To green, poems, yarn, creating and hope. *clink
This is the first time I have watched your podcast. I am so impressed with how you approached the Roe v Wade decision. You are brave, honest, and forthright in expressing your support of women's rights to make decisions for their own bodies. I would not want to force my opinions about my actions on anyone else, but they have no right to make decisions for me either.
Thank you ladies, you made me tear up at the end when you spoke about your friendship and thankful for your patrons too. I have been in the shadows watching your podcast from the beginning of 2022. And making my way to the current episodes. I can’t wait! Anyway, I am happy to have found you too. Thank you to Sandra of BytheLakeside for introducing you. I won’t be like Simone writing after each episode. 😊 but you have been such good company. Thank you StitchedbyMimi
I loved hearing from you ladies! What a knitting inspiration this episode was and so many things you shared. Jackie, I am so glad you are healing and made it to the hospital. Keep taking care of yourself. Caitlin, your rafting adventure sounded amazing.
My favorite tool is the correction hook. It is so great when you drop a stitch. I love all of your knits. You two make me want to knit everything you show.
Soooo happy to see you two again after so long!! I’m a retired English teacher, but I have collected in journal/journals poetry and quotations since I was in high school!! Keep writing!! ❤️
What an absolute JOY to watch your podcast. It is a GIFT. Jackie- I am so happy to hear you are better -- yes, take it easy and restore and replenish. You both are glorious in green...sending big hugs!!
I have watched all 4 years of your podcast, I must confess, I did have to binge watch after I discovered your podcast. I have enjoyed watching both your knitting journey and your friendship grow and blossom. Congratulations on 4 years of your podcast and thank you for taking a stand for women's rights.
I love your podcast so much! Thank you for your honesty, integrity and bringing so much joy! You are amazingly talented and I love watching your podcasts! Cheers to 4 years!
Thank you for all of the episodes these past four years! Your knits and your lives are an inspiration. I appreciate all of the resources in this episode. Jackie, I teared up when you were telling us about your health scare. I’m so glad you’re ok.
Love you both and I’m so happy that I recently discovered your channel. I admire you both for your courage today. Well said! and for the record - I agree with you both. ❤️
So thankful for your humanity, poems, and knitting, of course. I love seeing your friendship too as I'm separated by an ocean from my best friend of over 38 years, but apps keep us talking almost daily to only another and occasional visits. My favorite tool is the stich fixer for those nasty long snags. Thank you for being you and for the podcast!
Again thank you both! For sharing your making journey and more. Gorgeous pieces you've been working on - so inspiring. Thank you too for speaking out against the travesty of justice we're witnessing from Canada and feeling our vulnerability when it comes to patriarchal systems that continue. So thankful you're recovering, Jackie, take good care.
Thank you for your wonderful podcasts. I found you two last winter when I started (and continued) knitting socks for everyone in my life! You two are a joy to watch!
Wow!!!!! I’m watching from Portugal and I’m so excited!!!! The set is amazing!!! Thank you! Thank you! I have been watching your podcast since the very beginning and I am a big fan of Purl Soho! Thank you to you all!!! 😘 ❤️
Thank you for sharing your friendship and your love of all things yarn. And thank you for the grace with which you spoke about what is happening in the US right now. Please know that we women in Canada (and worldwide) are with you and are sending you strength.
How amazing to have such a rich, creative and loving friendship! Congratulations on 4 years of wonderfulness!- am very grateful for the continual inspiration! Thank you❤ And thank you for voicing what so many of us feel. I appreciate that you didn't just carry on as usual - thank you for bringing 'all of your humanity' to the podcast.
Congratulations on the 4th Anniversary of your CadyJax channel and for the inspiration you have provided to all of your subscribers. Jackie, I'm so glad to hear your recovery is underway. That is quite an ordeal you have been through.
I've only been with you for the last 6-9 months....but have binge watched all the episodes ;) And like many, it was so nice and comforting watching the both of you. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on women's rights. My eyes welled up hearing your words. You both are awesome. You make me feel just a little bit hopeful that this world can be a tad better.
One of my best friends and I, OMG We are 74, and we’ve been friends since since we were 18 years old. We both knew how to knit Wayback then, But neither of us did it while we were in school. Now she exclusively knits socks and I knit whatever but nothing for myself. We both feel very lucky to have each other and to understand deep down inside what it means to have a best friend. Thank you for sharing your friendship. I feel like our friendships are like a trip down the Colorado river. Somethings never to be seen again, but the memories remain. Unfortunately so do some of the pictures! Thank you for being you, real women. Love you Knits, always an inspiration to me. Your four year anniversary is so special and your giveaway is lovely thank you to Purl Soho. I always need a tape measure - I use it constantly & it is something that I can never lay my hands on no matter how many I have. Happy summer. Carmen
I so appreciate to hear your sentiment on the problems we are all facing right now. What a heartbreaking week, but such a profound comfort knitting can bring us
I've never wanted a shawl until I saw those lovely squishy ones you shared today. Congrats on 4 years! Love the idea of wearing a stitch holder as a shawl pin. I have a couple from the late 60s!
Upset to hear how sick you were, Jackie; I’m sooo grateful, happy, and relieved to know you are fully recovered now. Congratulations to you both on your 4 years of CJK! Happy continued creating! Xoxo
You two being choked up at the end made me put down my knitting and tear up with you! Your friendship is inspiring! Thank you for sharing yourselves and your knitting 💕
Thank you so much for sharing so deeply. Women need to stick together as slowly we are slipping behind. Greetings from New Zealand where it is a woman’s right to choose.
Congratulations on the four years and for bringing such joy. I enjoy the warm conversations with poetry, knitting and life. Thank you for talking about such a tough issue so sensitively. It is heartbreaking and has such serious ramifications for women’s health and sexuality. Jackie what a frightening situation - thank goodness you are on the mend. Caitlin congratulations on getting out of your comfort zone and what an inspiration. My favourite knitting tool is the Cocoknits row counter. 💕
Congratulations on your 4 years of podcasting! My favorite knitting tool is my Stitch Fixer, in fact, I had to use it while watching your podcast. I dropped a couple of stitches,
great tool! if you want to enter the giveaway, there’s a post on our grid with a picture of the Purl Soho brass tool kit, that’s where we’ll draw from. 🥰
Congrats on the 4 year Podiversary! Always enjoy your company on RUclips. Jackie- so glad you are better, sounds scary, gotta remember to take care of self before we can do for others. Thank you both for using your voice to support all of us fighting for our choices/rights....................scary days being a woman in our country now.
Thank you so much for talking abut the elephant in the room. Acknowledging the horrors in her world at the moment but also our need for these moments of joy. Get fully well soon and take care of yourselves xxx
I applaud your principles and your courage. I could say so much but I won’t here. I just appreciate your authenticity and the willingness to lose audience. I have been in this position professionally. I stood for my principles. Lost outward status but gained a piece of authenticity. Never looked back. Love your knitting projects. Beauty is the glue. You know John O‘Donahue. Blessings!
Thanks for being so courageous and voice your personal opinion on a controversial topic. As a European, I cannot understand what happened in the US and certainly couldn’t think that this was even possible… I subscribed to your channel right away!
Good to see you both together again! Jackie, that was some fever! 105! I would be delirious! The Akemi is one I will knit, I like the style you both knit! Enjoyed all the content!
Thank you for your honesty and great inspiration. I too am so devastated by this ruling. But, I come to your channel knowing that I will feel better after a CJ Episode or two. So glad you made it through Covid Jackie! Take care of yourself. You girls are the best!! ❤️❤️
Watching in segments to savor the variety of this one - it's a true variety show. Caitlin, your sweater & earrings together are divinely inspired. Green is your power color! I am so glad you're okay, Jackie, how scary!
Thank you. This is a horrific time for women. I’m 70 years old and I can’t believe that we are going BACKWARDS! You both are very courageous in what you said. Bless you both.
Jackie! So glad you contacted Simone and went to the ER! Feel the same about the recent Supreme Court rulings...just devastating. My 14-year old had a bake sale with a friend and donated some of the proceeds to Planned Parenthood and we just have to keep donating, voting etc. Love Caitlin's Akemi and the Clara cardigan is gorgeous. I'm working on a Wavy Gravy!
I have been a viewer since your very first episode and have always loved your podcasts, but your bravery in speaking out against this reprehensible SC decision has increased my admiration of you two a thousandfold. ❣️ Although I am well beyond the age of childbearing, I have four daughters (and a son❣️), and three granddaughters (and three grandsons) whose lives could be dramatically impacted by this incredibly horrific decision, not to mention all of the ramifications that have never occurred to people that can come of this. Thank you for speaking out. And, of course, the knitting is so inspirational, as usual. ❣️Jackie, so glad you were directed to rush to the hospital. I am like you in that I never would have done that without prodding. Caitlin, how nice that you are visiting Wisconsin again. ❣️Safe travels home. 😀 OMG, Caitlin, what a trip you took to the Grand Canyon!!!! Extra brave. 👍
Thanks 🙏 from me in bc Canada and so glad you were able to get the help that you needed and that you had that great nurse friend❤️very sad what is going on 😞
I love how you voiced your opinion while acknowledging there are those with other opinions. And not saying stop watching if you have different beliefs.
Congratulations on 4 years!🥂 Caitlin, I’m currently knitting a sweater (Other Loops) in Genmou yarn. The same yellow color as Jackie’s sweater. With all the sad news hitting us it’s wonderful to at least share these podcasts. Jackie- so glad you’ve recovered! Knit on ladies. 🧶
I was beginning to worry because I hadn't seen you. Now I understand what was wrong and am so grateful 🙏 to know you are better. Seeing your podcast today was worth the wait. I love 💘 and am truly happy 😊 everytime I see you Cady & Jax. You keep me inspired. Seeing your podcast along with Girl Meets Yarn within days of one another made me so happy!!
I’m just amazed and cannot believe that I have admired both of you so very much and I just discovered your podcast. I am a “baby” podcaster myself, I just started my podcast, but I mentioned you both on my podcast which will be published tomorrow because I loooove watching you … I love listening to you both. You are both so beautiful and joyful. Thank you for the beautiful Saturday shrug. I have made so many and will continue to make more. I so appreciate you sharing your opinion in such a difficult subject. It’s wonderful to seek joy, but also so important to acknowledge the heaviness that also exist out there. Thank you so much for the joy, the passion and the poetry that keeps us going and for bringing to life subjects that are so important to us women. Im, like Simone, going back to podcast 1 to watch all of them. ❤❤
a cliché at best - of course one must digest, and reflect, and find their ground-their words-too. One must know their truth to act upon on it. appreciate your well wishes and hope your knitting is bringing you comfort and joy too.
At 76, remember how hard we fought for women's rights, I am devastated. So, I applaud your courage, please keep it up!
Thank you for having the courage to voice your feelings during this terrible time in our legal history.

😘😘😘
Love your podcast 💕. My favorite knitting tool is my barber cord set. Unfortunately they are also my cat’s favorite 😻
Preach it! We all need to speak up and get involved.
Hey there. So glad to see you together. You both are so cute together. 🥰
Action speaks louder than words. Glad you (J) are feeling better.. Knit on.
a cliché at best - of course one must digest, and reflect, and find their ground-their words-too. One must know their truth to act upon on it. appreciate your well wishes and hope your knitting is bringing you comfort and joy too.
