It's not an SSD hard drive. It's just an SSD. 😂 Also, you sure know how to make a professional looking video though. I like it!

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad L430 with 6gb of ram and i5 2.3 GHz . No ssd just hard drive I believe ... would that Samsung running similar writing and reading to yours ? Is it worth a buy for us with older laptops ?

Isaily De La Rosa Possibly. Does the laptop have usb 3.0? If so, it should perform well.

I'm just not getting those same reads and I wonder why?

Are you using USB 3.0 ports or USB 2.0?

      I assume it's 2.0 on the iMac 09'

Yes, probably so. I would guess that’s the reason you aren’t achieving the same speeds.
I was using USB 3.0 ports ... the drive should be even faster on Thunderbolt 3 (USB 3.1 gen2).

Doesn't work with my MOTO Z phone even though it claims it will.
