In this video I show you how to DIY attic ladder installation, I explain how to install attic ladder from framing the opening to installing the Fakro LMS attic staircase. Scary part is cutting the bottom of the ladder!

Exactly, You cut that too short

This model has an adjustment in case you cut to short. You can correct and error of about 1.5" using brackets that hold the ladder to the door panel.
In worst scenario FAKRO service dept. can provide new bottom section or extension feet.
