- US President Donald Trump has once again set his sights on Europe, implying its not safe.
Speaking at the annual conservative CPAC convention in Maryland he talked about a friend - Jim - who apparently does not visit France anymore because of the Paris and Nice attacks.
"Take a look at what's happened in France. I have a friend, he's a very, very substantial guy, he loves the city of lights. He loves Paris. Hadn't seen him in a while," Trump told the audience.
"And I said, 'Jim, let me ask y…

This aged like wine.
He is 100% right.
I wouldn't go to France. 'Cause France is no longer France.
OK, than don't do it and stay where you are
No there is something called oversras territory , here there are still french
They should change their country name as "paristan" or "frenchstan".
Except that would make no sense also, as "Frenchstan" literally means "land of the French" in Persian. There's literally nothing French about these invaders.
Pakistan ????
More like Frafrica, Englandistan is more accurate.

The truth hurts doesn’t it..
Hows life in the US right now?
Ted Crilly still better than western europe
Doubt it.
Corporate industrial prisons, worlds highest incarceration rate, low press freedom, regular mass shootings, polarised population, police brutality, and riots. Trade war with China, and uncontrolled covid.
What a mess.
@@tedcrilly46 Large cities getting worse, number of no go zones on the rise, housing getting too expensive , crimes , acid and knife attacks rising exponentailly, politicians just as bad as the ones in the US and a society filled with apathy and ignorance (same in US). At least the americans are fighting eachother and not an invading ideology. Europe is full of riots too (France , Belgium, Uk, Germany in the last couple months). Press is the same in Europe as the one in the US, Covid hit just as bad if you look at Europe as a whole and not individual countries. At least Europe still has a decent social security system even if its failing slowly but surely. I would rather move to US at least for a while to be honest.
oh no, housing too expensive. Oh jesus.
No, press freedom is way higher in Europe. Like most freedoms.
Europes covid is going down, US is going up.
Go to US then, try not to get shot.
He said it because it isn't safe ! Thanks for the truth Trump !
@Bingo Duff
paris is better than before now its paristan
I'm afraid he's right about Paris. I always imagined it as a city from Godard movies but it's no way like that. Marseille is even worse.
clsman89
Yes, Marseille is very dangerous but Paris is quite safe now.
shizukagozen777
Quite safe as long as you stay in the right neighbourhood... at least for now. It wont last forever.
Paris has never been like Godard movies...
I can asure you that is safer to walk in every inch of Paris that in any US city. US is the land of serial killers and homicidal......
It´s not safe i was in Paris in bad neigbourhood.
I remember seeing a live stream on facebook when the Notre Dame cathedral was burning down and most of the "thumbs up" and "haha" reactions were from muslims.
I don't know what's the connection between your comment and the video but, It's sad to see people cheering for other's pain, and sadly every group of people has those ugly hearts. But specially sad when muslims are not even allowed to demolish other temples. And comments like this will only make humanity more something-phobic towards any group.

What's happening in France trump predicted five years ago
He was right again.
yes Paris is no longer Paris, Paris is a dustbin
Oh Europe... Soon to be part of Eurasia-stan... :(
Sonia shaw no and yes
Just a thought like Persia, once they take over, they'll just rename Europe, too.
juste kevin more like 6%...1% is the decade growth rate...6/7% is a lot because they have exponentially more children...You're so doomed... :(
Susan G I speak about the EU when i say 1% not the european continent, because if you speak about the european continent you must add russia and russia has the largest muslim community in europe
juste kevin you're looking at pre-2010 numbers...In 2010 EU Muslims are at 3.8%...2020 already projected double that percentage birthrates alone... And not counting the new influx of millions of 'refugees' since 2013...
im Scottish , I grew up in Paris , now living in Japan since 25 years , Paris in 2024 is an atrocious city, you feel totally insecure and afraid , looks like a third world place, up to 1993 it was much better after it went downhill very quickly
Lord have mercy this has aged as fine fine wine.
And he was right.
If i wanted to see that I could just go to North Africa for cheaper and feel much safer
Hey, how's Paris again? Thanks Trump for warning us. Macron needs to resign. Paris is NOT Paris anymore... 😔
France is not even liberal. Still his approval rating isn't great. He will lose the next election for sure.
Trump was right again.
I remember him saying this I had to come back and read some of the comments. Wow if we knew what it would be like today....
save money on trips to Africa see all their habits and custom's.. visit a real mosque .. àll this and more . just take short trip to Paris 🗼🗼
Now It became true
I guess Jim was right.
where the hell is de Gaulle when you need him?
De Gaulle? America is not France's problem. You need Le Pann, not De Gaulle.
And since then there have been continuing riots and Notre Dame was burned down. One of the saddest days in my life.
He got point
Make sure that there will be no one from the athletes and visitors who will attend the olympic games in Summer of 2024 in Paris get harmed. Not only the garbages but also the rising number of criminal activities are happening now in Paris.
Glad to have gone to Paris before it fell.
Lol, you never went.
@@TheRyan4778 Are you sure about that? I went in 2004 and bumped into the ambassadors secretary and she treated us three the whole weekend. I suppose I should thank the tax payers, I think there is a slush fund for stuff like this. Anyway go to Europe just skip Paris.
I love it ahem people get upset when he States Pierre facts.... I'm triggered because real truth hurts me ....😭
Google' Paris no go zones....
That is weird, it looks like I live in a no go zone yet nothing strange in sight
There are no "no-go zones" in Paris. Got it? Even Fox News admits it was wrong about this.
Non existent !
Where is Charles Martel when you need one.
Enjoying your safe tear gasing this Christmas as well guys?
He's not wrong.
Why I go to Russia instead.
Trump isn't right on many things, but he's certainly right about France not being France anymore and this goes for most western nations as well.
Build a wall...make saudi pay for it...
Was this before or after the fire? I LOVE how indignant the European leaders were on this day. Paris isn’t Paris anymore. This was pre yellow vest
Any Frankistanis here?
I wouldn't go to France
"Marryland" 😂😂
What about Quebec?
Silly Brits, Maryland is pronounced “Mair-lund”.
I just saw Jim yesterday, he is spending his winter vacation in Moscow.
Macron will make France France again!
Jim is that guy, who lives in his, closet and tells him sh**, that going on, around the world!
Oops!
What is Paris then? Germany? Last I checked Paris was still Paris 😂
I love France
I love Paris
To bad the French Government doesn't share your feelings.
Trump should focus more on US, he's not the president of Sweden or France.
This "friend" of his does not even exist
It's funny. You can tell when Trump is lying by the tone of his voice.
He is not lying you idiot, you went to France?you saw Paris? you deluded NPC don't write a comment if you have no idea of what topic is about
I live in paris ane he tell the truth lol
I'm a Frenchman and he is right.
He isn't lying.
Trump has always come to Paris often.
As a French citizen, I think President Hollande had the best answer to Trump's declaration. I am appalled by his attempts to justify his policies on immigration by talking about his perception of our country. Yes, France has a Muslim community, but also a Jewish one, a Christian one, a Buddhist one, etc. It's not always easy to live together but we try. I have always lived near Paris and never been attacked, although these suburbs are considered a lot more "dangerous" than Paris itself. There is more police and military patrols in the Capital following the attacks but Paris is still the same. It's not a dream city but it's still a beautiful one, just as Berlin, London or Rome.
Why is it "beautiful"? What makes it "beautiful?" I'd argue, what makes it beautiful is its history- and the people who are now dead, who made it that way over centuries. The Paris of today isn't French- French might be spoken some places and on billboards, but that doesn't make it French. If your French ancestors (if you're French) could see what you have all done to it- you and those before you over the last 50 years, they would be devastated. Absolutely. You've thrown your heritage away and pretended it didn't matter. What does Paris look like in 50 more years? If you think there is anyone of French birth- ancestry- there, you are high. No white people will be in Paris in 50 years. Poof. Gone.
