I suggest to everyone to buy in small quantities tge freeze dried foods. Cook with it NOW! Because I tried one brand and didn’t like it. Tried another brand and like this as I cook with it. Don’t wait until a setback happens to cook with it. Taste it now.
I love oatmeal in the cooler months. And I make cookies or bars with peanut butter. Plus our German Shepherd likes it smeared on her dog cookies. Aha!
I do shop sales and buy a few bulk items. Dog food is one. Eggs. You can crack eggs and put 2-3 in a sandwich bag and freeze. This is a good backup resource. We gave no eggs this week in Colorado! Yikes!
I take a week each month and live out of the stockpile. Especially in winter months I do this.
Then save this grocery $ to go into my savings.
    Great tips!! Stalwart
