I understand what the Pokemon Company is doing with the base set reprints, but I’ll be honest. I would have loved seeing some Neo era or E-series cards getting some reprints in this. From the Holo pattern, the unique card design, the card arts, it honestly feels like a crime that they’ve never revisited them
It's where it all began. the base set will always be used because it's something they cannot let go of! It is a bit too soon though for this reprint after Celebrations. Do love it though and will probably try and get hold of one for the Collection/Playing aspect
I wonder if other countries will release this product in the same way or with some variation since it’s quite unique. That would help increase accessibility and getting more people to play as “a boardgame” like you suggested. It would be disappointing to see it all bought up for singles to be resold at exorbitant prices with how exclusive and premium the product is. :/
Experienced players aren't going to have fun with these pre-made decks... feels more like a tutorial that costs $250-$300. At the same token, it'll be made as long as people buy it up. Scalpers will buy this up only to see Pokemon restock the shelves however many times they need to. The cards will deplete in value faster than celebrations. I am a bit worried for the hobby's future. Sales were so bad that they moved Charizard UPC up, which was supposed to be a Crown Zenith UPC finale set... but demand fell hard from 2021 to 2022 and Pokemon did not want such a rapid falloff on the books...execs need their bonuses. The desperattion Pokemon is resorting to is becoming increasingly evident and I hate to say it... the hobby could really fizzle out. That would suck for a lot of us who have "currently valuable" collections. During Pokemon's 50th anniversary in 2046... Evolving skies Booster Boxes will be worth somewhere between $20-$20,000... that is how uncertain the future of the hobby is. Buying and holding is a risk. Just because Pokemon has had boom periods does not mean something won't replace it. Kids these days have smaller and smaller attention spans...and playing cards might be replaced. The pandemic caused everything to explode... but we are seeing all of that fade now that the economy is in shambles. We'll have to see if Pokemon is able to draw in the younger crowd to maintain the hobby's longevity. A $250-$300 board game is not that product.
Great video J, I've seen this product mentioned but didn't really understand what it was or what it was about. I love your editing style, it's so seamless the way you transition between the official Pokémon clips and other things. Have a great time in Perth
I'm really excited for this to come out. It's my all time favorite type of holo pattern. Kind of like the pokekyun collection, which is one of my favorite sets :)
Personally I'd just like to pay 50 USD for the damage counter/dice roll box, but just as I was thinking and you were saying, it's a stand-alone board game, which is how it should be looked upon.
You would pay 50 USD for just the markers/ die roll box?!?! You're very generous. The product as a whole should be priced at 39.99 usd... the markers and die roller should be like 8.99 usd.
I agree with your points man and good video! My one critique about this product is like everyone has said, it is counterintuitive. It is meant for players, but features cards Pokémon knows collectors will gut and grade for their own personal gain. These will be gutted and the boards and counters will be sold for $175 usd. Sophisticated and classy for players 100%, but this just further divides our factions. 😐 should’ve put in Pokémon that people weren’t gonna scalp for players, or they should’ve appealed all out to collectors with a newer fresher lineup of classics. I agree with what you say man, just the climate will not allow it. Too many people who demand their PSA 10 starters 😐 appreciate you man!
Yeah it’s no doubt at odds with itself in some aspects. In a perfect world without all the commodifying and flipping, this would be a smash hit without any warts. But the way it is now…yep, it’s gonna be bleak when it drops. Much love as always King
I deff saw this as a way of grabbing the new collecting scene that hasn’t played the game as a kid into maybe trying to play the modern TCG. It is definitely an attempt hopefully it goes well to help out local game stores running events
To be honest I would only get this to keep sealed on display. Though I do really love the look of the damage counters and the coin flip decider. I hope they release at least the damage counters separately because those would be nice to play with compared to dice
Well, I think it's the perfect companion product for the upcoming 151 set that's releasing in the summer. This is like the premium counterpart of the set.
This strikes me as more a sealed collectable for people already entrenched in PTCG, rather than something that you would get for a new player. I suppose it will depend on the price point and availability. I expect scalpers to be all over this product.
Just recently, I was looking through my Pokemon cards, having the time of my life as I immersed myself in the joy and pleasure that come with the impact of the sheer nostalgia digging its way from the depths of my consciousness, when I was suddenly given a most grievous and mortal wound in the form of a deadly, non-skin breaking cut on the edge of my pinky finger. I have been in pain and mourning ever since; I have been unable to perform my duties at work due to the mental and physical trauma, and am currently typing this comment from a kiosk at the mall after removing myself from my apartment due to the sheer fear, terror and dread Ive experienced at the hands of Pokemon cards. I can say without an absolute shadow of a doubt that Pokemon cards have undebatably gone way too far, for I may never recover from this tragic, life shaping event that will be told throughout all the generations which follow my bloodline. If it werent for you risking your life to bring this knowledge to the public, I may have never gotten to tell my story. If anyone learns anything from my experiences, I hope its that
I just recently started getting back into collecting since the late 90’s so I’m honestly very excited for everything about this release. Might not be for everyone but I love what I see so far.

Totally agree with your take on this, personally hoping to get it, but won’t be upset if I don’t. I’m just getting into the tcg and feel like this product (priced more reasonably) is a great way to encourage new players
Yeah imma wait until places are selling it for less than rrp like the zard upc, but ive gotta get one - as someone who is interested in playing retro i could totally rebuild the decks as a “rebalanced” base set experience
Guys prices are not going down especially for Japanese set. We sell Japanese card from Japan and The Chinese have growing interest in Pokémon card but they don’t like the Chinese set they love to chase for Japanese and English. Easily selling double or triple msrp. And their buying power are strong! Don’t see price going down anytime soon
Great piece on this product mate. I totally agree 👍🏻 Apart from the nostalgia, my first impression of this was like a sleek-looking glass chess set for the living room that I could engage with my mates over dinner. But yeah, that they reprinted charizard again is a little tiresome. 😅
I look it as a nostalgia bait premium collector item. I'll never see this as an item meant for players, because if it truly was, it wouldn't have cards that can't be used in the game nor would it have a premium price. It's an item for those older collectors who will buy this because these were the cards they played with, but that also means most of these will most likely never be used for the purpose of actually playing. The biggest positive is it could lead to some vintage collectors possibly becoming players again if that actually use this to play, which would benefit Pokemon. All those people who collect vintage don't benefit Pokemon if they aren't buying modern.
I think that’s what they’re banking on with this product. The collector space will eventually get bored of modern, I think TPCi want to see stock fly off the shelves again - a strategy to achieve that, is get people REALLY interested in modern
I can see why they went the route they did with this. It looks incredible (I don't really care for the new holo pattern but everything else is great), the deck choices were smart as far as recognition and popularity, they just made it too high quality for it to be playable for a large number of people. If they keep the look and just find some way to make it more affordable it'll be a pretty nice product
Board games are collected in my family. So I am buying it if I get the chance, this product is not for beginners, idk why people assume that it is or should be.
I don't know if my eyes deceive me, but it looks like the EN version may have non-holos of the base starters, where the JPN has the incredible gold holo? Other than that potential disappointment, this is a product targeted to me. I collect, but am playing casually with friends that I've introduced to the game. The +100 damage tools are reminiscent of the Gamefreak deck card that beefs up 'old' cards, and I really like that addition here.
this is for board game players. they made it a board game that can also be used to just play the card game later. board game players love this. i have friends that are into some board games and they spend just as much money as people do who just collect cards
Ok well I don’t like celebrations because of the stamp and this is the first time base set charizard is being reprinted since I started collecting again - hype
If it's going to be a very limited print then it's going to sell out like hotcakes and blow up on a secondary market. If it is a very large print run then at that point I'm not sure.
Have no intention of buying this whole set but I am hopeful that this reprint of Base Zard will be even cheaper than the Celebrations version, since it's guaranteed to be in every Classic box.
Things being expensive or not being able to afford something shouldn’t motivate someone to leave the hobby. It’s motivated me to try and find more ways to make money with the hobby and with other things. I’m not just gonna give up on collecting lol
@@okJLUV same! The earliest that I played was 2010 with some of the TAS boys at OCIC. Was really fun playing something so different from the current meta!
I was turned off by this set at first but after getting back into Pokémon in sword and shield I now feel comfortable buying this and actually use these cards to play. Something like celebrations if I pulled charizard it was getting stuffed in a sleeve and probably a slab. Refreshing take, Pokémon letting us knows it’s okay to use valuable looking cards to play the game, who would have thought lol
Loved the design aspect of this set and the cards, though I'm slightly bummed about the price point since is way out of my budget. Hopefully the singles are affordable in the secondary market, especially the Pikachu.
I think that while the price is certainly steep, it is justified considering all the products you get. Personally, I'm hoping to get one to play with friends. It really does feel more like a board game. I have a few friends that I often play board games with but who'd never touch the regular Pokemon TCG. I'm sure they'd be up for trying this out. One of my board game friends I know since elementary school. We use to battle each other with base set decks back in 19999/2000. He's not at all interested in Pokemon anymore but I bet he'd love to play this with me a couple times. For the memories haha. He's also passionately learning Japanese. With me speaking the language and collecting the Japanese cards, this product would be perfect. I am a little disappointed that it is a lottery. Already feel like I am not going to get it. Would have been nice if it was handled the same way as the Precious Collector box. Pre-order with some sort of cap in the background for them to make sure they can actually print enough. Oh well.
As someone who barely plays in the TCG and mainly collects/sells, I like this product for many of the things you mentioned, I think they were really trying to create something clean and sophisticated. However, I think they may have tried to include or do to much with this product and that may end up hurting its popularity - my main gripe with this product is Pokemon leaning back on the base set trio, I personally like seeing when Pokemon changes things up and generates hype/popularity around other cards.
I hope TPCi are listening - the fans want Gen 2 or Gen 3 brought back to life. No more Base Set!! only problem is those Gens just don't have the same mass appeal as Base Set Charizard
Seeing this product was very exciting, but as the details came trickling in I got more and more confused about the purpose of this product. It's titled as a "Classic" game and features iconic early-game cards stretching from Base Set to early ex-era, but includes new ex Pokémon that clearly aren't on the same power scale as the older cards? This won't be ideal for older fans nostalgic for the beginnings of the game because brand new, modern-era cards are going to be there to break the feeling of being back on the playground in the 90's playing the game with friends. They showcased those Tool cards that boost the original starter trio's attacks by 100 just so that they come close to the level of power that current cards have, and STILL fall short of the HP these Basic ex cards have. So how balanced are these decks going to be? Especially with the Water types being weak to Lightning, which breaks the Rock-Paper-Scissors relationship that the Grass-Fire-Water type trio is supposed to mimic (this isn't a problem in the Standard game of course, since all types are present and each have unique weaknesses). Is this product for existing players? The fact that the cards included in these decks are not tournament legal means they are less incentivized to buy the product. Is the product for collectors? There are so many cool design choices for the actual game mechanics here that will just go unused for someone just buying it for the shiny and exclusive cards that are likely worth a lot less outside of the product and decks than in the product. Is this product for new players? Anyone looking to try the card game for the first time will see the price point of this and walk away laughing, as here are plenty of other fun, contained card games for a fraction of the cost of this one. These conflicting ideas surrounding this product makes me think that TPC are trying to cast a wide net in the market demographic for this product, but one that is so big that it actually ends up being appealing to nobody. I am not a Magic player in the slightest, but I saw the Magic 30th debacle go down from arms length and thought nothing like that would happen so soon to Pokémon. To me, this Pokémon TCG Classic holds a faint stench akin to the one Magic players got the full force of with their 30th anniversary product, and I can only hope that TPC know what they are doing and not making the same mistake that Wizards did with their game.
I am all about this new product, but unfortunately the price tag will likely be too much for me to afford. I would love to see something as even as repetitive as base set 3 because my friends and I think the new cards are too insanely powerful to make for an enjoyable match. Thanks for the nice video.
@@okJLUV Bro base set 3 with new art is the best thing I've ever heard in my li... shut up and take my money! It would be collectable, compliment the classic release, and offer a different way to play the game. The nostalgia is too strong, I would pick base 3 every time.
I could see this being worth it for 49.99 CAD or 39.99 USD but that price is just hilarious. The play surface is nice but the cards look terrible and they can't even be used outside of this board game. I agree with your assessment that's it's a cash grab.
Yup, as a non-player the design initially piqued my interest, basically any simplistic and sleek design strikes my fancy (this actually reminded me a lot of UNO Minimalista, which looked dope too) along with the design changes to the markers that just made perfect sense. Then I saw the price tag, laughed my ass off, and moved on. Hopefully they introduce these marker designs to the base game at least
How would people in the US even go about buying this? I'm an avid Pokemon card player/collector, but I've never dabbled in buying Japanese cards. Any help would be much appreciated! Also, really nice video man! Very informative!
@@okJLUV thank you, my friend. I was like, what happened to the video, did he say something crazy and take the vid down?! 😅 you rarely put stuff out and I enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work.
It’s definitely trying to get older players to join the new format. But the price and the fact that this will go crazy on the second market makes it a failure in that regard. It will still sell well though so it leaves us in a weird spot for the future.
@okJLUV BTW, Pat speaks very highly of you and I think you are worthy of that praise. I think one of the only YTers who talks about the artists, which is something that I absolutely love! :) All d best for your upcoming tournaments!
I'm really waiting until next year when the base set Platinum Charizard is released. I'm going to buy and flip as many of these lame gold Charizards as I can so hopefully I can afford the diamond-dust base set Charizard expected to release in 2025.
Everything you're saying makes sense, but I think it could still be £100 cheaper and they'd still probably make a profit and it would reach more people. Pokemon know more than me though, I trust them
I think it's really well designed, I like it, I would actually like to buy it to play with it but damn it! That's not what it's gonna happen :C It'll be sold by lottery so ofc not many people will get it, the cards inside will be hella expensive, I can already see a PSA10 of those zards going for $600 and it'll almost only go to people that will either open it and sell the contents for more profit, flip it, or just keep it as an investment which is what I would do if I were to buy it. Completely pointless product as sad as it is, I would very much rather them addressing the resealing issues on their boxes that should have been impossible to reseal or simply print more stuff since buying at MSRP has been impossible for like 8 months now? So yeah, this is silly to me. I really like the product, hate how it's being sold. And ofc, I personally don't care that much about the english version since the yellow borders make the cards look waaaaaaay worse compared to the japanese ones. Sheeesh.
Personally I love when do they different awesome cool variations of the same card they look super stylish all lined up on a page. What are people complaining for? They are showing homage to literally the cards that started this whole community and people want them to stop ? I'm here for it I love that fire spitting pumkin colored lizard
...260 dollars? I was really excited for this but that is a lot for cards locked out of regular play 💀I'm not a competitive player but I still do not like unplayable cards. This is why I don't buy champion decks, they are not allowed to use those cards either so I saw it as pointless (and as a collector they make the cards look worse? Adding the winner's signature, the border, taking away any holo effects, etc.). I want the board and counters for when I want to play with my own cards but not for $260. Pokemon Cards have been scalped for years making it pricier than it needs to be then the Pokemon comes along and drops this with that insane price tag. It's high quality though, I get it, it's just too much for me personally though. Also, while I like the idea of reprinting base cards it's been done a few times...and they always only choose the same holos/chase cards. There were so many out of print cards when WotC printed them. Even if they kept it the same Pokemon cards for familiarity would be cool to see other sets alongside them.
Someone made the point above - if they’d made these cards Legal in play, that’d arguably be worse - nothing more painful than meta cards locked behind an exclusive product. In Japan, Mew VMAX didn’t see as much play compared to international use, because the card Cram-O-Matic was a Promo - a key part of the deck, that cost $150+ on the secondary market; and you need to run 4 of them 💀 Totally feel you on the price though; would have been way better if it was $100 cheaper
@@okJLUV Oh that's a good point, thank you for the info! That makes a lot of sense lol That's true, the way they did it works al to better knowing that. True, if they would shave off at least $100 it'd be more accessible.
There are so many other awesome vintage cards and sets they could be doing updates and reprints to, but nooooo they keep redoing the same old base set boring stuff over and over...I'm OVER it.
Pokemon tried to launch a product to appeal to both players and collectors and completely failed with both groups. Too expensive for players with no playable cards, and nothing interesting worth collecting because the cards are bland. This product will end up in the clearance section in North America. I absolutely agree that they need to move away from Base and into other generations.
The Company just got a new catchphrase:gotta steal from you all,who ever considers buying this dumb product just helps the Company to make less effort in there games.
Base Set reprints are tiring. At the end of the day, the people who will be buying this product are already established collectors & players (I am not including scalpers). If the purpose of the product is to entice new collectors/players then why is the price so high? If you've never bought Pokemon cards your first purchase is not going to be for a 35k yen product, so they're clearly relying on existing collectors/players. Players don't want to pay 35k yen for cards they can't even use at a tournament and collectors have to pray to the lottery gods to have a chance of buying the product. I think if they had made the product made-to-order instead of lottery there wouldn't be as much pushback, along with pricing it at around 20-25k yen (which you also said). I will pushback on the "you dont have to buy every product" statement. This was WOTC's logic for pricing their 30th anniversary set. Obviously, not every product created by a company will be suited for every consumer but there are certain business decisions made that artificially create scarcity situations. And let's not even mention the Japanese foiling vs English foiling on the reprints. Good luck at Perth ❤
yeah I think they definitely leaned into the current hysteria around vintage and that factored into their decision to go with Base Set again. i'm not entirely happy about it either, but i get it. made to order would have been a MUCH better distribution method for this, even if it released in waves, it would completely squash the potential for people to flip it. then again even with made to order, we saw what happened with the Precious Collection Box ;P
The minimalist design is all well and good but if you outprice your target audience then it still is a failed product and a bad design because it never gets into the hands of the intended audience. And they cannot be blind to the insane speculation going on and that having Charizard in would guarantee the scalpers come out. Even the lottery is counter intuitive - how is it an accessible product for casuals at that price and that difficulty to obtain?
This is a super cool product that's confused as to what it wants to be. The base set reprints are and have always been for collectors only, they just have. Putting them in a product designed to allure new players, or existing players to get their friends to try the game, is almost baffling. The reason why is that even players who have no interest in collecting won't play these cards, they'll resell them on to cover the loss of the product itself. They've made a format for this product alone and put insanely expensive cards in it. The battle stadium thing is really cool but does it justify that amount of money when playing the cards that come with it is an objectively unwise financial choice? For me, pricing it at 35,000yen has put this in the collectors only category. Can you see Mr Rev or Mr Hart opening this product on their channels and giving the actual board the time of day? No, lmao. Ultimately though I have the same attitude as you, if I get it great if not cool. But the saddest part is that if I do manage to get it, 90% sure I will sell it on because the opportunity is too great not to. ... ..... ...... CHATTING
I will be back after I win Perth Regionals ok bye

Easily selling double or triple msrp. And their buying power are strong! Don’t see price going down anytime soon
Great piece on this product mate. I totally agree 👍🏻 Apart from the nostalgia, my first impression of this was like a sleek-looking glass chess set for the living room that I could engage with my mates over dinner.
But yeah, that they reprinted charizard again is a little tiresome. 😅
YES! it’s exactly like those high class chess boards, very similar vibe!!
The only thing I wanted was to try new 3 exs in the meta but they can't be used in standards so that kills the hype for me.
I was sad to see the price on pokemon center. 2 of my friends and I have agreed to split on the english release if it is priced similairily
Nice to see a video critically analyzing this product instead of bashing it without logical reasoning
this is for board game players. they made it a board game that can also be used to just play the card game later. board game players love this. i have friends that are into some board games and they spend just as much money as people do who just collect cards
yep I think people have forgotten or underestimated how active the board game space still is, and this is Pokemon's attempt to break into that space
Im just in it for the damage counters… everything else is a bonus but from what they were saying about Japanese price point is crazy
I need the marbles !!!
@@okJLUV yeah those were pretty cool as well
I just hope this product isn't a nightmare to get like the charizard premium ETB.
That would make it easy to get! Unless you mean the Celebrations UPC haha
Have no intention of buying this whole set but I am hopeful that this reprint of Base Zard will be even cheaper than the Celebrations version, since it's guaranteed to be in every Classic box.
very good take
Things being expensive or not being able to afford something shouldn’t motivate someone to leave the hobby. It’s motivated me to try and find more ways to make money with the hobby and with other things. I’m not just gonna give up on collecting lol
You’re on some kinda grind rn and I like it
honestly love the idea of this product. Was kind of hopeful they would of fully reprinted some vintage decks just so people could play the old format.
as someone who never played old format, i'm excited to give it a spin with this!!
At over $200 for the box and limited production the singles won't be inexpensive lol
Oh well.
It will 100% reignite the fire for your buddy, and that’s what they’re going for
As someone who barely plays in the TCG and mainly collects/sells, I like this product for many of the things you mentioned, I think they were really trying to create something clean and sophisticated.
Bro your awesome thank you as always !!!
I am all about this new product, but unfortunately the price tag will likely be too much for me to afford. I would love to see something as even as repetitive as base set 3 because my friends and I think the new cards are too insanely powerful to make for an enjoyable match. Thanks for the nice video.
Base Set 3 could be cool. Would you prefer Base Set 3 with new art, or that they revisited Neo?
See, it definitely vibes with people - strongly - but the price point washes that all away. Here’s hoping the international version is way cheaper
Can't wait for the scalpers to come in and buy everything up :/
So what I hear is, create a 3D print so I save money. XD
Careful now, don’t wanna get in trouble with the big yellow dude
How would people in the US even go about buying this? I'm an avid Pokemon card player/collector, but I've never dabbled in buying Japanese cards. Any help would be much appreciated!
Also, really nice video man! Very informative!
Wait wait wait wait wait wait hol up.... these Cards are used to play a Game?!?
Buying regardless of the cash grab vibe.
Why did you take down the new vid?! Would have loved to actually watched it. Lol. Must have been good
It's on the okJLUV Streams channel ;D
www.youtube.com/@okjluvstreams
@@okJLUV thank you, my friend. I was like, what happened to the video, did he say something crazy and take the vid down?! 😅 you rarely put stuff out and I enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work.
Ngl you made me wanna try to play the game.
It’s definitely trying to get older players to join the new format. But the price and the fact that this will go crazy on the second market makes it a failure in that regard. It will still sell well though so it leaves us in a weird spot for the future.
Do you think this set will also be selling for a steep premium when it comes in the market?
Definitely - covered that at the end of the video!
@@okJLUV yes, sorry. You did. I have a really bad habit of putting comments in as I watch the video, as if it's live, lol 😆
@@gdsam14 lmao I have to stop myself from doing the same thing
@okJLUV BTW, Pat speaks very highly of you and I think you are worthy of that praise. I think one of the only YTers who talks about the artists, which is something that I absolutely love! :)
All d best for your upcoming tournaments!
I can’t wait to see these singles on Whatnot and the boxes in the trash. I can smell chaos lol
Oh boy, and you know it’ll happen too
I'm really waiting until next year when the base set Platinum Charizard is released. I'm going to buy and flip as many of these lame gold Charizards as I can so hopefully I can afford the diamond-dust base set Charizard expected to release in 2025.
Hopefully I can just get the decks from Ebay🤔 that's all intrested in any who
Im opening Tag Bolt atm
one of the best sets ever. how'd you go?
Explained perfectly!
Everything you're saying makes sense, but I think it could still be £100 cheaper and they'd still probably make a profit and it would reach more people. Pokemon know more than me though, I trust them
Totally agree, the one “miss” is the price tag and I’m definitely not caping for it - wish it was cheaper
I think it's really well designed, I like it, I would actually like to buy it to play with it but damn it! That's not what it's gonna happen :C
It'll be sold by lottery so ofc not many people will get it, the cards inside will be hella expensive, I can already see a PSA10 of those zards going for $600 and it'll almost only go to people that will either open it and sell the contents for more profit, flip it, or just keep it as an investment which is what I would do if I were to buy it.
Sheeesh.
Card prices be going to the moon with this product
:( 🚀
Yes. Overcooked it!
Personally I love when do they different awesome cool variations of the same card they look super stylish all lined up on a page. What are people complaining for? They are showing homage to literally the cards that started this whole community and people want them to stop ? I'm here for it I love that fire spitting pumkin colored lizard
Maybe people are fatigued with the Red Lizard. I still don’t mind seeing them again but can’t help but feel Gen 2 would be way cooler
...260 dollars?
In Japan, Mew VMAX didn’t see as much play compared to international use, because the card Cram-O-Matic was a Promo - a key part of the deck, that cost $150+ on the secondary market; and you need to run 4 of them 💀
Totally feel you on the price though; would have been way better if it was $100 cheaper
@@okJLUV Oh that's a good point, thank you for the info! That makes a lot of sense lol That's true, the way they did it works al to better knowing that.
True, if they would shave off at least $100 it'd be more accessible.
Awesome video as always bro
Thank you for a sane take... People groveling and complaining over this product need to grow up.
I just don’t feel like anyone was asking for this. Whether or not it’s a cash grab, it just shows how out of touch the Pokémon Company really is
Yeah I don’t think anybody thought of something like this until we were shown it. They’re definitely experimenting, which is cool though
@@okJLUV there’s no denying they are definitely experimenting lol!
There are so many other awesome vintage cards and sets they could be doing updates and reprints to, but nooooo they keep redoing the same old base set boring stuff over and over...I'm OVER it.
If we don’t get Neo in the next few years, we’re gonna have some issues
Agreed J agreed
Will there be enough supply???
Fingers crossed…not holding my breath though
its the year 2050 and base set zard is now at its 500th reprint
Babe wake up! It’s time for your Charizard reprint!
Never seen that Charizard before wow so beautiful must be worth 1000000000usd
:jub:
Pokemon tried to launch a product to appeal to both players and collectors and completely failed with both groups. Too expensive for players with no playable cards, and nothing interesting worth collecting because the cards are bland. This product will end up in the clearance section in North America. I absolutely agree that they need to move away from Base and into other generations.
Yes
The Company just got a new catchphrase:gotta steal from you all,who ever considers buying this dumb product just helps the Company to make less effort in there games.
Your favorite poketuber's favorite poketuber.
Aw shucks 😳
Look, honestly... I initially thought this was lame, but it's starting to grow on me. The Pikachu looks nice. No way I'm spending 385 on it though
Yes we can say what we say but at the end of the day I must buy this
BUY NEW THING
$250? Hahahaha 😀 hell nah
awwww hellllll nah

Bro, you storing Pokémon cards in your bathroom? Ptcglive has conditioned you to thinking bathroom tiles are a game board.
You gotta watch more Rudy bro
I don't need it. I don't need it. I don't need it. I don't need it. I don't need it.
