Thanks Nick for a great review! One comment on our adjustable vault: it is actually easiest to adjust the height of the vault by leaving the playing surface in place and just lifting them up to slide the spacers in. You can adjust the vault in about a minute without taking out the playing surface or even taking off the game mat. Thanks again Nick and Mike!
I ordered one. It will ship this week. So far the company has been great. Very good communication. I'm very much looking forward to getting the table and start playing.
heck yeah let's goooo! Let us know how you like it when it gets there!
What is the verdict on yours?! I’m on the fence as I type this between this and the Dresden from Bandpass Design (which is 2x the cost of the Artig
I love that you get to find where the tree that made your table comes from. Definitely will look into Artig when I am ready to get a fancy table.
Blarg. I just cannot justify a $2k expenditure. But it looks amazing and I’ve always wanted a board game table. Maybe someday.
Someday!
Awesome review, thanks for going through all the options available on the table. Artig tables are definitely luxury tables but at an amazing price for the quality, design, and customizable options!
Alright I was already pretty convinced, now I’m sold!
This came at the perfect time for me
Thanks for your order Jared! Glad to have you part of the Artig family!
Nick the Cave Goblin was the highlight of my day, lol.
What a great table design.
Those are some Sick tables!!
These tables are so freakin coooooool!!!!
Those look super nice
Fun fact! In danish 'artig' means 'well-behaved' ☺️
New Tables looks great! Did you say what finished your tables are? Love the customization and finishes.
They use Danish Oil as a finish, though with ours I believe they did some extra stuff to make the finish as matte as possible since we specifically requested that since we've had glare issues in the past with table finishes.
@@TheBrothersMurph is the wood type different between the two? One looks darker
@@BigRedGamer87 Yes the dark one is Walnut and the lighter one is Cherry
This is a great review! Fell in love with it. But unfortunately I don’t have multiple grand to drop.
One can dream!
Any table giveaways!? 😂
Sweet tables! Ive got a channel recommendation nick. Neon gorilla.
Thx Nick,
We’re very interested but shipping is only in the US not Canada 😭
@@ericmanrique772 we need good Canada option. Even table toppers are like400 shipping
Why not mention the prices of the tables as specced out ?
Is there any bounce to the play surface? Aka "The Anne Wheaton effect". How thick is the MDF under the play surface?
Everything about this table is nearly perfect…..but I hate that the vault is 2 pieces of wood linked together at a seam down the middle. Have you noticed any issues with the seam not being flush? Does the mat suffer from any punching or bunching over the seam?
We personally haven’t had any problems and we work on the table every day. We also have to drive a little tabletop dolly on it all the time when we shoot B-Roll for board games and it goes across the seam all the time. It never bumps the dolly when it drives over the seam. So for us it’s been no issue at all
@@TheBrothersMurph great to hear! Thank you for responding. Have read some critical reviews of other tables with a similar vault design.
@@TheBrothersMurph thank you for the comment! Only other complaint is the strip covering the mitre joints. Why?! Really cheapens the look of a $3,000 table…(goes outside and yells at clouds)
2.6k usd on sale ? hahah, me and my dad made one of these for 300usd. They even have the metal glass holders. It was all made from Oak and Beech as well.
So these guys are completely crazy with their price
2:23 Having them built into the table makes them awkward. I mean, normally, you'd hold your cards in your hand, and if you want to sometimes take a closer look at them, you move your arm. Here, you'd have to move your chair or lean forward or something.
That’s fair, we usually just hold cards in our hands, but lots of people like card holders
Does the game mat fit perfectly as delivered? I see what looks like a little bunching at the edge but can't really tell if it's really bunched or just not laying smoothly flat there.
@@clownworlddotfart yes, it does. Thanks for the question!
Artig = polite in swedish.
and "fun" in Norwegian. :)
@@Artig_Tables I guess it make more sense.
@@peterkarlsson1825 both are good characteristics! 😊
Sure.... "Pretend" to be a cave goblin... Bing bong
im starting to believe that wyrmwood needs to innovate with their mgts or they gonna be out of business with all these manufacturers popping up
These are pretty expensive considering there's not much wood and the dining toppers are sold as an extra $800 fee. idk. They look nice, but there's other companies that do all this for less for those that don't have that type of money to drop for a certain aesthetic
You get what you pay for with these kinds of tables
Noice
Pity they deliver just in US😖
