If there’s ever an official live-action AoT adaptation, I’d love to see HBO take the reins. While no studio is flawless, I trust them to handle it better than most studios, especially with the depth and intensity the story deserves. Regardless of who produces it, though, I just hope it’s made as a series, with thoughtful casting and true justice done to the source material.
I agree. AoT is a mature period fantasy filled with political drama and horror elements, which fits well with HBO's experience. They’ve nailed this genre in shows like Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon. The only question mark for me is how they'll handle the action. But I think that prioritizing their strengths in narrative and character depth is ultimately more important. So as a whole, I trust that they have the talent to do justice to AoT and authentically capture its atmosphere. However, they'd have to hire someone who legit knows AoT to run the show.
