Great build, I’m slowly converting a smaller boat trailer to a utility probably about a 5’x 8’ haven’t measured yet. Have to cut the 3x3 metal square tubing shorter where the front is. Lol when I hook it up it goes so fare back way to long. Was probably for a long light boat. I wish I would have watched your video first though. I like that you went out past the wheels to give a bit extra space. I’m working on a budget build for it so it’s taking a while with the cost of wood. Keep up the great work
Looks good! 👍 I'm in the planning stages to do the same with my old trailer. My hope is to use the metal C frame of the trailer to put a bunch of 2x stringers across. Then, run my deck lengthwise. If that doesn't work, then I'm definitely going with your design.
nice! I wasn't sure how I'd attach 2X stringers to the metal frame so I went with this design. Made it up as I went along but it worked out pretty good! I've been using it quite a bit hauling lumber, etc.
it was approximately 2x12. I put a level across the top of the 2x4's I mounted on the frame and measured down to the low point of the trailer to get the depth needed for that center board. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
I have the same tractor, that’s why I followed you. I like your videos and how you edit/ narrate them. Don’t take this the wrong way, (just a little constructive criticism) I think your wide angle is too wide. The fish eye throws it off for me. Glad I found the channel, can’t wait to see more tractor videos!
Hey thanks so much for the feedback! It is appreciated. Thus far I am filming with my GoPro. I've been toying with getting a land based video camera for stuff around the farm. Wide angle setting on the GoPro does add a fish eye effect...I may plat with the settings in the meantime. Thanks though and thanks for watching!!
Nice conversion, without welding.
thanks and thanks for watching! This was a fun project and already using the trailer around my place. :)
TY TY TY soooo much for this i dont have a welder either. you made so simple even I can do it lol TY again
So glad this video may help you with your project! Thanks for watching and best wishes!
Thanks

What size was that middle board ?
it was approximately 2x12. I put a level across the top of the 2x4's I mounted on the frame and measured down to the low point of the trailer to get the depth needed for that center board. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
