Ultrawide lens is just a piece of glass man, too many cons. Softer images, distortion, noise, terrible low light performance etc, zoom is so much more useful imo..but thats just me.
Your screenshot from the Pixel 4 has you had 4 hours of screen on time with 18% remaining in the battery. I agree the screen on time is bad, but if you're getting approximately linear battery consumption - that day should have given you almost 5 hours of screen on time.
Google every fracking year ignore us the consumers from previous years: * We want and need bigger battery's (3,500mah for pixel, 4,500mah on the XL!) Seriously what good a great Camera on a phone if you can not use it all day at a Party/Local Park/Theme Park/Wedding? and why should we have to carry a large battery bank just to get decent use out of the device at these events? * Wide Angle Camera (hopefully with a large 48MP Sensor!) Seriously why cant we have all three (Normal, Telephoto and Wide Angle!) like Apple, Samsung, Oppo, 1+, Nokia, Motorola so on do (even on Mid-Range Phones!) the Pixels cost enough to justify the extra camera or two! * Have 128GB be the minimum storage (At current 64GB Pricing or lower!) with 256 be the current max with a 512 in a year or two time! * No Free Unlimited Storage (This Year!) for a device without a SD Card Slot WTF this is meant to be a Camera Phone how are we meant to store our data if we run out of space on the device since they refuse to give us external card storage! (I can forgive this if the add external card storage to future devices!) * Micro SD Card Storage with support for upto 1TB cards (Future proofing the phone to some degree!) Again what use is a Camera Phone if you run out of storage and have to use all your Cellular DATA up uploading to the Cloud that also then drains your battery life even quicker?! * 6gb of RAM on a Flagship is not enough for the price we should have at least 8gb and the Pixel A-Series should have 6 like Samsung did with the Galaxy S & A series phones! * Better Fast Charging be it PD 3 or QC 4 or both!!! * 4K Filming at 60fps if not 90fps! * More focus on Video Quality Pixel is still far behind Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Oppo, LG, Even 1+ wtf Google?! * Headphone jack with Quad HiFi DAC! * True Stereo (that is to say both speakers face the user not one aimed away like Apple that is not Stereo sound but Dual Audio/Speakers! If they wont fix these issues then just make all future devices A-Series and forget the Standard Pixel Line because for what you get the Price in the words of my boy Flossy Carter is TGDH (TOO GOD DAMN HIGH!) we should not have to pay for a device that lacks basic Flagship features or removes standard features in latter versions!
Googie : - ultrawide is fun but never ever seen before 2x zoom - more important - big battery is fun but 2012 battery is better - more storage is fun but getting $ every month is better for us - reasonable price is good but iPhone is better! 360Hrs pixel’s face unlock sucks in terms of security, no offence. Check MKBHD’s review. It unlocks without you even looking at it lol. If someone manages to get your phone and points it really quickly at ur face it’s already unlocked.

Yeah, I really felt disgusted when he said that, with those over the top hand gestures and all. At the very least they could’ve went with a periscopic soon lens to get 5x or so. But 2x zoom just isn’t good enough. An ultrawide would’ve been far better.
@@aswinottapilavil495 true, adding a third camera could've made things way better, but people are really underestimating the actual details and quality the Pixel 4 has on Portrait mode. The Pixel 4 can catch single strands of hair as where the iPhone 11 just blurs it out or eliminates it.
Wuyam I agree that pixel catches great details in pictures but the problem is that portrait mode just no longer has the market value it had once. People don’t care about a slightly better portrait mode anymore (it became like a guaranteed feature at this point). The versatility of the camera is the hot thing now, till now iusers didn’t experienced it now even they are on board with it. Google omitting that just makes it seems like you don’t get the hottest features in their phone.
Went to Best buy to test all the new phones and tbh the I phone and pixel 4 were both nothing special they literally felt exactly like the previous models in terms of camera and overall usage. Speed might of been slightly better but not noticable. I honestly never had a Samsung or thought about getting one but the note 10 felt better to me imo. I think when the note 11 comes out I will get that.

I keep watching reviews of pixel 4 because I really wanna convince myself to buy it but it's starting to get unlikely at this point. I could cope with many of the flaws but battery life is a total dealbreaker
If you want to get the new Pixel , get the XL version. I bought the original Pixel ( not the XL) in 2016, the battery was 2770 mAh. For the last two years I have been using it as a camera ( without Sim card ) because of the battery life. Now battery health is at 89% it is even worse. For the last two years I have been using a much cheaper Android phone with 4000 mAh battery so that I don't have battery anxiety. I probably would buy iPhone 11 now that he iPhone camera is as good if not better than the Pixel and I prefer wide angle than telephoto. I don't want the hassle of having a power bank with me all the time if I have the Pixel 4.
I pre-ordered the Pixel 4 and so far I'm very pleased! The battery charges so fast that I find I've never had it die yet. Obviously not ideal but I love everything else enough that its worth it
I used to agree that stock Android was the best implementation of Android when I had a Nexus back in the day, but OxygenOS has won me over! I actually prefer OxygenOS over stock now!

Hey Matthew, I own a pixel 2 which I really love but I think it's time to upgrade and I'm in between these two devices, pixel 4xl or OnePlus 7T. I'm going towards OnePlus because of the edge to edge screen, bigger battery and bigger screen, but I don't really like the tear drop selfie camera... And now losing the free photo back up on the pixel, I don't know... I would love to see your comparison for these two! Thanks man!

People always harp on the Pixel every year the Pixel 1, 2, and 3 and usually the issues are 100% overblown. Yet Pixel fans continue to love and enjoy them.
From what I recall when the 2/2xl came out, everyone was having issues with the battery and that got optimized in an update. I get my 4xl today, and I'm not a power user so I won't worry much as I feel confident Google will address it at some point.
This is a joke , I have pixel 2 and I have been waiting for a good pixel to buy. I think it's time to go to another company that respects the costumers
I'm torn with this Pixel 4/4 XL. I was looking to upgrade my Pixel 2 XL, but with 5G looming, and mixed features/performance on the Pixel 4 (battery life, still only 128 GB max storage, no ultrawide, middling video quality, etc.), I can't justify getting it at the prices advertised. Maybe I'll give it a go when it gets discounted in the next couple of months, or a Black Friday deal comes along. Good review as always, Matthew!
Thanks for bringing up the improvements of Android 10 in your review. Android 10 on the Pixel 4 is VASTLY better than Android 9 that launched with the Pixel 3, just based on the brief run I had on it in my local carrier store.
First honest review i have seen without the bash after bash we all know the lack of things on this phone we don't need a constant bash minute after minute. Glad you didn't go the route as every other reviewer has so far.
Stealing gestures is from miui not entirely from iphone. Google copied swipe at bottom bar to switch recent apps from iphone and other gestures from miui.
Being in Australia, it was confusing when people say it's too expensive. In Australia, the 128gb Pixel 4XL is $1429 AUD. The iPhone 11 Pro Max is $2200 AUD. I compared this to US pricing, and Apple is really screwing Australians.
RUclipsrs love to call the Pixel the best Android experience but lots of regular people are disgusted when they come from an LG or Samsung and realize a bunch of Android skin features they loved are missing.
I mean they're getting better every year! This is definitly the first release with 0 hardware issues so that's all sorted now. Honestly, this device could be amazing if they just fixed a few of the basic necessities like battery life, storage and not be petty about Google Photos. They need to make a dent in the smartphone market but in all fairness once they discount this thing it will sell

The first pixels camera was better than its iPhone counterpart the pixel 2’a camera also was better than its iPhone counterpart so was the pixel 3 better than the iPhone XS but now that Apple has finally Cought with all these software features, deep fusion, and hardware stuff, wide angle and also night mode and stuff and they are doing an excellent job with it... it doesn’t seem reasonable to buy a pixel 4 anymore when Apple is providing u a wide angle and the same main cameras as the pro models at $699! With more colors, better ip rating and better durability as well we all know how durable new iPhones are... sadly the iPhone wins this time. Except in the display apartment where pixel has. The 90hz but I’m not saying iPhones display is bad.. it’s one of the best displays and one of the most sharpest and color accurate ones we’ve seen so far, maybe the most color accurate actually, great battery life as well... apple does take its time to catch up, but when they do it, they do it right!
Franga it’s the most color accurate smartphone display bro. Displays from Samsung and google etc bump up the contrast and vibrance and have more punchy colors meanwhile apples display is like more true to life / natural colors..
For Pixel to sell well..i feel they should focus on making mid-range and budget smartphones rather than flagship models which at the moment pales in comparison with the current competition.
My thing with google is that for them to charge that much they need to refine more on design and battery. I am glad that they took notes from last year and decided to go with a neutral design and as well as improving the overall quality of the smart phone so I will give them that.But in order for them to be able to compete with Apple or other larger android it manufactures they are going to have to really drop prices as well as maybe not try to make flagships because the pixel 3A and pixel 3a XL were very popular phones
2:54 I think you’re the first reviewer to mention that. They all say about how nowadays android has gestures but (al least on the clean android) it’s pretty much the iPhone gestures (I wonder how Apple didn’t sue them lol). Also, I remember the days when reviewers were complaining they the iPhones switched to gestures.
Mihnea Lazăr Well, is Apple started to sue google then they would’ve get the entire pixel division. Pixel just tries so hard to be like iPhones. They totally don’t care about what makes android unique, all they case is to be like Apple. Android didn’t even needed a gesture to begin with, it already had good software buttons that allowed great multitasking functionality. Apple needed it coz of the single button configuration that their previous phones had. Samsung’s gestures are the best and easier to use in my opinion I’m android world. iOS gestures are also cool but I do have some issues.
There have been so many reviewers out there saying they love iPhone gestures. Almost no one complained. But if you scroll through Twitter now you can basically read these three opinions: they copied the gestures from apple, the gestures are good and the back gesture has become a better gesture than apple's Nothing new about the copy-thing.
Melanara but i still remember some people were very reticent to the new gesture scheme on the iPhone X and considered it somewhat unintuitive. I personally liked them and still do and I think it’s a bit weird that very few reviewers seem to notice how much the pixel gestures are like iPhone’s.
@@mihnealazar7039 there are lots of comments about this. iPhone's get a lot of praise for this ;) if you want to feel better just watch android 10 and iOS 13 reviews from for example mkbhd. It's full of mentions what android copied from iOS but there's no comments like this in his iOS 13 reviews. I remember someone on twitter saying the iPhone nailed the position of the volume slider this year and how they waited to make it perfect because it's on the same side where the volume buttons are not like on android. He just ignored the fact that on a pixel the volume buttons are on the right so the volume slider (which has been there for some android generations now) is where the volume buttons are. It goes in both directions, trust me...
It's suppased in value, appearance and battery by all of its flagship competitors. The "buttery smooth" OS and camera aren't enough to sell it. It wasn't for pixels 1,2,3.
It really sucks about the battery and pretty much no photo backup. Why couldn't they schlot in a 3800mah in the 4 and a 4500 in the XL? I Love Pixels....but dang.

You are absolutely right. Tiny battery which does not last for whole day is definitely a deal-breaker. I could live with appalling design but crappy battery is no buy. I gutted because I waited for this device for so long.
Just FYI, Apple took gestures from android. We have been using gestures for years. Before iPhone X. But of course once Apple does something it is original! LOL like the square camera bump (Mate 10)
Re gestures: WebOS > BlackBerry OS10 > iOS > Android. Notifications, yes, Apple copied Android. But gestures, nah. WebOS, then Google copy pasta iOS and still failed with back gesture. Ps: i own an android phone for years.

Coming from a note 8, you'll probably be happy with the 4 XL. From a note 10 it would feel like a lateral move or maybe even a downgrade depending on your priorities. If you want the best Android experience, this is it. However, the consensus is it could have been Soo much more
Aside from going directly to the home screen, the iPhone unlocked faster. If Apple had the option to bypass notifications, it wouldn’t even be close...unlocking with your eyes closed?!! It shouldn’t have been released that way...period! Great vid...
Google needs to trade "Profit Margins" for "Market Share"... If they had added a bigger battery on both models and priced it aggressively with the competition. They would have been one of the best phones of 2019
Even my Xiaomi Mi9T, which cost $325USD has a triple camera setup, 4000Mha battery and edge to edge AMOLED screen with no notch... Oh and 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. I expected more and better from Google! I'm not blown away by their photography this time, especially compared to the iPhone 11.
Yep the life battery is a problem . I bought a Pixel 3a in May which was my first pixel phone and it’s been a very good experience great camera, good screen ,great battery life headphone and build quality is excellent with the poly carbonate back which makes the phone light and less prone to break... I’ve had nothing but a good experience and so I thought I’d buy the Pixel 4 when I came out but I don’t think so.

Why Google? Why not just add a bigger battery and more base storage? The person making these decisions on Google's design team should be let go or reassigned.
Google's hardware team keep making shit decisions. It's absolutely unbelievable that they've stuck with 64 GB of internal storage on the base model and taken away unlimited storage as well. What a crappy thing to do on a device that costs a fortune. No wide angle camera and then justifying it with a smug remark at the IO was quite shitty too. Google really need to get their act together in putting out a better-value device.
Maybe the Pixel 4 is a statement from Google to hang tight, hold onto your Pixel 3, and wait for the Pixel 5. The company perhaps needs more time but market forces mandated the Pixel 4.
A small battery cell is unforgivable. I really can't believe Google can be that dumb but it seems they are. The choice to shoot themselves in the foot comes mainly in that one call. The other things that stop me buying this phone are decent video, low storage, lack of an ultra wide lens and price. I see no coming back from this. The Pixel 4/XL will have destroyed Googles smartphone business with this one incarnation. I reckon we will be very lucky to see a Pixel 5/XL
The essential parts that make a smartphone imo are 1. Display 2. Battery Since the camera on all flagships are pretty much equivalent for regular use, the iPhones definitely won it this year. Coming from a OnePlus user
Oneplus + Gcam was the perfect choose for me, if you want a perfect Android experience, amazing camara (included ultra-wide), big storage UFS 3.0, 90hz, more ram, more battery, fast charger, big screen... and cheaper. Waiting for Oneplus 7t /7t pro/7pro with Gcam vs Pixel 4 XL.
Still much for a crappy battery like wtf battery has to be one of the core stuff in a phone having 2800mAh is just unacceptable today..and ooh my, that huge forehead😑
I skipped the Pixel 3 because I wasn't very impressed and was eagerly waiting for the 4... what a disappointment :( - 444 nits display (ouch) - Snapdragon 855 (almost a year old cpu) - 6 Gb of ram (mixed feelings here) - No UFS 3.0 storage (wtf, it has two times data rate capabilities and lower power consumption) (undervalued) - Battery Life ? (doesn't look good tbh) - Project Soli looking more like a gimmick right now (many youtubers having a hard time to make it work) - Literally nothing on video capabilities (it's not all about photos Google) - Pricey These points are a dealbreaker for me and I rather wait until February to see what Samsung is coming out with. Sorry Matthew, but it feels like Google isn't even trying
I like that they didn't add a ultra wide. 1:like you said, everyone else did and Google never does what everyone else does. 2: I think most ppl are sheep. They say they want ultra wide but really they never really use it. They just see others doing it
This guy always has a subtle way of trashing Android, a lot of folks are saying the battery life on the Pixel 4 XL is a lot better than they thought. I've noticed the critics never point out that the iPhone 11 pro-pro max 64GB are $200 more than the Pixel 4-4 XL 64GB. The photo quality on ultrawide is garbage, this fake outrage is ridiculous.
Hey look this is how they released the phone. I have to be fair and review it as is! But I do revisit phones and if Google improves battery life through software updates I'll definitely revisit it!
That's unfortunate that the pixel 4 didn't live up to what I was expecting. Battery life is a huge thing for me. I'm hoping next year they can learn from their mistakes and release something that everyone will love. Also I will be due for an upgrade at that time

You missed 2 key points. Unlike the Oneplus it actually comes with wireless charging (11watts) and it does not have a hole, teardrop or notch in your display.
Google is attempting to bridge the gap between Apple and Android. Make no mistake the phone is not for everyone. Pros: 90hz refresh rates, radar sensor potential, and a great still camera to name a few. Cons: battery life, no wide angle (Not a big deal to me), no more max free storage, and limited phone storage as key takeaways. I always use a case, regardless of phone. The phone is certainly overpriced, but it depends on what you need or want.

You said wrong pricing in the end of iPhone 11 and OnePlus 7T. Also you said 11 Pro is sellinf alot of phones. Maybe you wanted to say the 11 series? Anyway Pixel 4 or even 4 XL isnt worth it this year. No wideangle and 64 GB base. Pixel kinda the iPhone of Android.

Wuyam I agree that pixel catches great details in pictures but the problem is that portrait mode just no longer has the market value it had once. People don’t care about a slightly better portrait mode anymore (it became like a guaranteed feature at this point).
The versatility of the camera is the hot thing now, till now iusers didn’t experienced it now even they are on board with it. Google omitting that just makes it seems like you don’t get the hottest features in their phone.

Went to Best buy to test all the new phones and tbh the I phone and pixel 4 were both nothing special they literally felt exactly like the previous models in terms of camera and overall usage. Speed might of been slightly better but not noticable. I honestly never had a Samsung or thought about getting one but the note 10 felt better to me imo. I think when the note 11 comes out I will get that.

If you want to get the new Pixel , get the XL version. I bought the original Pixel ( not the XL) in 2016, the battery was 2770 mAh. For the last two years I have been using it as a camera ( without Sim card ) because of the battery life. Now battery health is at 89% it is even worse. For the last two years I have been using a much cheaper Android phone with 4000 mAh battery so that I don't have battery anxiety. I probably would buy iPhone 11 now that he iPhone camera is as good if not better than the Pixel and I prefer wide angle than telephoto. I don't want the hassle of having a power bank with me all the time if I have the Pixel 4.
I pre-ordered the Pixel 4 and so far I'm very pleased! The battery charges so fast that I find I've never had it die yet. Obviously not ideal but I love everything else enough that its worth it

From what I recall when the 2/2xl came out, everyone was having issues with the battery and that got optimized in an update. I get my 4xl today, and I'm not a power user so I won't worry much as I feel confident Google will address it at some point.

I'm torn with this Pixel 4/4 XL. I was looking to upgrade my Pixel 2 XL, but with 5G looming, and mixed features/performance on the Pixel 4 (battery life, still only 128 GB max storage, no ultrawide, middling video quality, etc.), I can't justify getting it at the prices advertised. Maybe I'll give it a go when it gets discounted in the next couple of months, or a Black Friday deal comes along. Good review as always, Matthew!

Thanks for bringing up the improvements of Android 10 in your review. Android 10 on the Pixel 4 is VASTLY better than Android 9 that launched with the Pixel 3, just based on the brief run I had on it in my local carrier store.

Stealing gestures is from miui not entirely from iphone. Google copied swipe at bottom bar to switch recent apps from iphone and other gestures from miui.

Being in Australia, it was confusing when people say it's too expensive. In Australia, the 128gb Pixel 4XL is $1429 AUD. The iPhone 11 Pro Max is $2200 AUD. I compared this to US pricing, and Apple is really screwing Australians.

This is about photos btw not video, we all know iPhones always win there.
The first pixels camera was better than its iPhone counterpart the pixel 2’a camera also was better than its iPhone counterpart so was the pixel 3 better than the iPhone XS but now that Apple has finally Cought with all these software features, deep fusion, and hardware stuff, wide angle and also night mode and stuff and they are doing an excellent job with it... it doesn’t seem reasonable to buy a pixel 4 anymore when Apple is providing u a wide angle and the same main cameras as the pro models at $699! With more colors, better ip rating and better durability as well we all know how durable new iPhones are... sadly the iPhone wins this time. Except in the display apartment where pixel has. The 90hz but I’m not saying iPhones display is bad.. it’s one of the best displays and one of the most sharpest and color accurate ones we’ve seen so far, maybe the most color accurate actually, great battery life as well... apple does take its time to catch up, but when they do it, they do it right!

Franga it’s the most color accurate smartphone display bro. Displays from Samsung and google etc bump up the contrast and vibrance and have more punchy colors meanwhile apples display is like more true to life / natural colors..

My thing with google is that for them to charge that much they need to refine more on design and battery. I am glad that they took notes from last year and decided to go with a neutral design and as well as improving the overall quality of the smart phone so I will give them that.But in order for them to be able to compete with Apple or other larger android it manufactures they are going to have to really drop prices as well as maybe not try to make flagships because the pixel 3A and pixel 3a XL were very popular phones

They all say about how nowadays android has gestures but (al least on the clean android) it’s pretty much the iPhone gestures (I wonder how Apple didn’t sue them lol). Also, I remember the days when reviewers were complaining they the iPhones switched to gestures.

Pixel just tries so hard to be like iPhones. They totally don’t care about what makes android unique, all they case is to be like Apple.
Android didn’t even needed a gesture to begin with, it already had good software buttons that allowed great multitasking functionality. Apple needed it coz of the single button configuration that their previous phones had. Samsung’s gestures are the best and easier to use in my opinion I’m android world. iOS gestures are also cool but I do have some issues.
There have been so many reviewers out there saying they love iPhone gestures. Almost no one complained.
But if you scroll through Twitter now you can basically read these three opinions: they copied the gestures from apple, the gestures are good and the back gesture has become a better gesture than apple's

Melanara but i still remember some people were very reticent to the new gesture scheme on the iPhone X and considered it somewhat unintuitive. I personally liked them and still do and I think it’s a bit weird that very few reviewers seem to notice how much the pixel gestures are like iPhone’s.

It's full of mentions what android copied from iOS but there's no comments like this in his iOS 13 reviews. I remember someone on twitter saying the iPhone nailed the position of the volume slider this year and how they waited to make it perfect because it's on the same side where the volume buttons are not like on android. He just ignored the fact that on a pixel the volume buttons are on the right so the volume slider (which has been there for some android generations now) is where the volume buttons are. It goes in both directions, trust me...

Coming from a note 8, you'll probably be happy with the 4 XL. From a note 10 it would feel like a lateral move or maybe even a downgrade depending on your priorities. If you want the best Android experience, this is it. However, the consensus is it could have been Soo much more

Even my Xiaomi Mi9T, which cost $325USD has a triple camera setup, 4000Mha battery and edge to edge AMOLED screen with no notch... Oh and 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. I expected more and better from Google! I'm not blown away by their photography this time, especially compared to the iPhone 11.

Yep the life battery is a problem . I bought a Pixel 3a in May which was my first pixel phone and it’s been a very good experience great camera, good screen ,great battery life headphone and build quality is excellent with the poly carbonate back which makes the phone light and less prone to break... I’ve had nothing but a good experience and so I thought I’d buy the Pixel 4 when I came out but I don’t think so.

Google's hardware team keep making shit decisions. It's absolutely unbelievable that they've stuck with 64 GB of internal storage on the base model and taken away unlimited storage as well. What a crappy thing to do on a device that costs a fortune. No wide angle camera and then justifying it with a smug remark at the IO was quite shitty too.
Google really need to get their act together in putting out a better-value device.
Maybe the Pixel 4 is a statement from Google to hang tight, hold onto your Pixel 3, and wait for the Pixel 5. The company perhaps needs more time but market forces mandated the Pixel 4.
A small battery cell is unforgivable. I really can't believe Google can be that dumb but it seems they are. The choice to shoot themselves in the foot comes mainly in that one call. The other things that stop me buying this phone are decent video, low storage, lack of an ultra wide lens and price. I see no coming back from this. The Pixel 4/XL will have destroyed Googles smartphone business with this one incarnation. I reckon we will be very lucky to see a Pixel 5/XL

Since the camera on all flagships are pretty much equivalent for regular use, the iPhones definitely won it this year. Coming from a OnePlus user

That's unfortunate that the pixel 4 didn't live up to what I was expecting. Battery life is a huge thing for me. I'm hoping next year they can learn from their mistakes and release something that everyone will love. Also I will be due for an upgrade at that time

You missed 2 key points. Unlike the Oneplus it actually comes with wireless charging (11watts) and it does not have a hole, teardrop or notch in your display.
Yes wireless charging is nice but the hole or teardrop is completely subjective
Google is attempting to bridge the gap between Apple and Android. Make no mistake the phone is not for everyone. Pros: 90hz refresh rates, radar sensor potential, and a great still camera to name a few. Cons: battery life, no wide angle (Not a big deal to me), no more max free storage, and limited phone storage as key takeaways. I always use a case, regardless of phone. The phone is certainly overpriced, but it depends on what you need or want.
My 4xl arrives tomorrow. Looking forward to it but I wish it brought more to the table.

Even if google feel the ultra wide is not that important they should have still give us the option, it’s as if they don’t wanna sell these devices.
Google every fracking year ignore us the consumers from previous years:
* We want and need bigger battery's (3,500mah for pixel, 4,500mah on the XL!) Seriously what good a great Camera on a phone if you can not use it all day at a Party/Local Park/Theme Park/Wedding? and why should we have to carry a large battery bank just to get decent use out of the device at these events?
* Wide Angle Camera (hopefully with a large 48MP Sensor!) Seriously why cant we have all three (Normal, Telephoto and Wide Angle!) like Apple, Samsung, Oppo, 1+, Nokia, Motorola so on do (even on Mid-Range Phones!) the Pixels cost enough to justify the extra camera or two!
* Have 128GB be the minimum storage (At current 64GB Pricing or lower!) with 256 be the current max with a 512 in a year or two time!
* No Free Unlimited Storage (This Year!) for a device without a SD Card Slot WTF this is meant to be a Camera Phone how are we meant to store our data if we run out of space on the device since they refuse to give us external card storage! (I can forgive this if the add external card storage to future devices!)
* Micro SD Card Storage with support for upto 1TB cards (Future proofing the phone to some degree!) Again what use is a Camera Phone if you run out of storage and have to use all your Cellular DATA up uploading to the Cloud that also then drains your battery life even quicker?!
* 6gb of RAM on a Flagship is not enough for the price we should have at least 8gb and the Pixel A-Series should have 6 like Samsung did with the Galaxy S & A series phones!
* Better Fast Charging be it PD 3 or QC 4 or both!!!
* 4K Filming at 60fps if not 90fps!
* More focus on Video Quality Pixel is still far behind Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Oppo, LG, Even 1+ wtf Google?!
* Headphone jack with Quad HiFi DAC!
* True Stereo (that is to say both speakers face the user not one aimed away like Apple that is not Stereo sound but Dual Audio/Speakers!
If they wont fix these issues then just make all future devices A-Series and forget the Standard Pixel Line because for what you get the Price in the words of my boy Flossy Carter is TGDH (TOO GOD DAMN HIGH!) we should not have to pay for a device that lacks basic Flagship features or removes standard features in latter versions!
I dont think its definitely faster than faceid. Its the swiping up that makes face id slow. The authentication is sick fast.
You said wrong pricing in the end of iPhone 11 and OnePlus 7T. Also you said 11 Pro is sellinf alot of phones. Maybe you wanted to say the 11 series? Anyway Pixel 4 or even 4 XL isnt worth it this year. No wideangle and 64 GB base. Pixel kinda the iPhone of Android.
