Wondereful painting!!!
Simply inspiring. Many thanks for posting. I'm at art class tomorrow and I'm taking my pastels. How you brought the eyes to life so simply is amazing. Thanks again fir the best tutorial on portrait pastels on You Tube.
Blessed talent .
More than beauty of work I enjoyed the last scene of video with happy faces of both, artist and model :)
The creation of a portrait involves both the model and the artist.Unbroken eye contact is there for a long time.
This is unusual, even for friends. A lot of trust is needed. An artist like Agnes knows how to make sure the sitter is not stressed.
Both artist and model are Danish, the drawing was perfect, so "happy faces" at the end is no big surprise!

fast and lovely, very inspirering ,
love it
Excelente dibujante y retratista Gerad
Davy- How did this video make it a full 24 hours on RUclips without my knowledge?? LOL. I LOVE how Agnes used colors for the shadows. She really knew what she was doing here. These are the types of drawings that I aim for! BTW, 2 videos almost back-to-back. Thank you!
beautiful
Beautiful Work
Este si me gusta, te felicito.
Wonderful! Great video!
Maravilloso 👌👌👌
Great portrait, reminds me a lot of my late grandma :-)
@13Moondancer I had the same issue. It's got to do with the paper or the surface you are painting on. With a high quality sanded paper you can overlay colors better. With cheaper papers you have the problem of colors not holding on. Sanded papers are Art Spectrum Colorfix, Uart, Sennelier La Carte etc. (You can buy a sampler from Dakota Art Pastels)
Most beginners start with a non-sanded paper like Canson Mi-teintes which is not expensive.
Beautiful work Agnes
Agnes has made ,in record time ,the best color clour work for a decade
I admire you, really... This is perfect work!! Greetings from Czech Republic :-)
Wow nice
Bravo!!
Fantastic! the old lady really liked it, blessing's to Agnes ☺

fenomenal
brilliant
Fratm 🙌🙌🙌
The entire portrait was executed with soft pastel ,including eye highlights.
@cardellacole4 Teng Svay Denis uses a lot of warm colour,Agnes has a more
subdued palette. At the end of the day,Its down to personal taste. Please watch the videos in1080pHD,it does make a lot of difference.
belissmo e perfetto brava
Nice
Wonderful thank you so much
Thank you on behalf of Agnes..as most people have suspected,I am very proud to confirm that this wonderful artist just happens to be my wife!
I enjoyed this portrait demo but really not the music especially since it was vastly louder than the narration, I wanted to mute the sound but I couldn't because I wanted to hear the narration.
I have a question about the eyeglass lens on the left side of the face . Was it intended to be smaller than it should have been ? Otherwise , it was very well done .
@13Moondancer oops...In the last sentence I meant you can start with Canson Mi-teintes which is favored by many beginners and pro's (though it is a non-sanded paper)...
How do you gwt the white reflections on the eyes to be white, please? Mune merge with the colour of the pupil, do you use anyhing other than pastel? Many thanks.
I do feel it should be music or voice over, not both. Sorry to be a bit negative because you are outstanding!
Please how long thus it take to finish this portraits? Please I would like to know thank you -samuel
No artist draws the same way.Agnes is the fastest I have ever seen...and the quality remains excellent.I think this one took max 30 minutes.
She reminds me of Aunt May from the older Spider-Man animated show!
What kind of pastel are you using for the white reflection into the eyes? Soft or oil pastel?
wonderful please which type of paper does she use ? how do we call it ?
Which color pencil is best for shading
What are the different materials being used here, please?
❤️
@clinicstudiotattoo1 Check out the "How its made" videos I nave added to my video favourites
How much it took to make this portrait?
I wonder what are pencils, pastels, pastel or oil. and what role this using c can help thanks
He meant Stabillo Carbothello when he said Othello.
hâm mộ wa
3 min? I can’t sharpen more than one pencil before she’s done the prelim sketch... perfectly I might add
She is very fast and accurate. Her concentration is total.
I amire you too... and your hifi hands!
That was fun to watch but she left a purple x on the top of the nose. I kept waiting for her to blend it away.
which type pastel r u used
various pastels but Othello is used by all
ok tnx mamm

Agnes' work is excellent and quick, I like the colors. The eyes are fabulous.
Some observations:
The model seems a very simple woman, the artist has represented a beautiful, self-confident person.
I do not like the narration, it seems an advertisement, I think music is enough
It could use some better music :/ but other than that well done! :)
the narrator is agnes's husband..........
Not adjust
i have to admit, i was cringing and saying WHAT IS SHE DOING for most of the portrait, but, it did come out good. Its not realism, but its good. lol.
beautiful
The entire portrait was executed with soft pastel ,including eye highlights.
