What's the best spy movie that's come out in recent years?
The Outfit and Courier are a couple great recent spy movies that don’t get enough love.

Watched it the other night with my wife. I thought it was pretty good. I'm a big fan of Sam Rockwell. I actually just did a review of another Matthew Vaughn movie, Stardust. I would say he has a specific style, but his best movies are X Men First Class and Kingsman 1.
I'm a big Sam Rockwell guy too, and he definitely carries the majority of the weight of this film on his back. I actually never got around to seeing Stardust, might have to give it a watch soon. Thanks for checking out the review, dude!
Nooooooooooo reeaaaalllllyyyyyyy? 😂 First time I saw that trailer and the cat started flying towards the screen like it was a cheap 3D film, knew it would suck.
Haha yeah…The visuals definitely leave something to be desired in this film. Lots of blatant green screen and cheap looking CGI. There are definitely fun moments and Vaughn is a solid director, but this was a misfire. Thanks for watching, dude!

Solid review! I think the next time I watch this movie it could sadly drop down to a 5/10 for me. I wanted to love this movie so badly. My boy Henry deserves better. Funny enough I am still intrigued to see what they do with a sequel.

From that incessant trailer, it’s too bad to hear that it doesn’t live up to the hype. The cast is fantastic, and I’m with you Vaughn is a good to great director. I’m seeing it mañana, but I’ve got my expectations in check. Great stuff man!

Great Review, Sully! I’m checking this one out tomorrow night, mainly just to get payoff and satisfaction after watching the trailer a billion times - but still unfortunate it’s not great.

Matthew Vaughn seems to be on a weird kind of road with The Kingsman and now this, but hopefully he can bounce back with the musical that he is going to do, I think a low budget movie can do him some good again, Loved your thoughts on this maybe real movie Sully !

The trailer definitely had me interested. My wife was begging me to go see this film with her opening weekend (she loves Matthew Vaughn as a director) but we might hold off a few days after seeing all of the reviews. Sounds like we won’t be missing much. 😉

I too wasn’t a fan I literally saw your thumbnail pop up right before I went to see the movie last week and I went it wanting to be proven wrong but the movie was a mess to me.

We reluctantly bought tickets saying let’s wait and see what the reviews look like, I got a refund. Now we have to find something else. Stuck in the January movie wasteland.

@@SullyStreams Pretty much everything. Saw it on Valentine's Day with my husband. I tend to check my brain at the door for these sorts of films. It isn't Ulysses, after all. I loved the twists and turns, the fast-paced action, the comedic elements, and the proficiency of the actors. It was my favorite kind of goofy. Thank you for asking!
