The American Psycho scene was next level great. I had a great time with this movie. Adria Adjona was amazing and Glenn Powell is truly a star. Great review. This year has been rough trying to find a good rom com, this right now has the top spot
I giggled to myself when I looked at your videos after seeing your spot-on review of A FAMILY AFFAIR. I laughed as I saw HIT MAN as I have been a regular viewer of RICHARD LINKLATER since SLACKER. I agree that GLEN POWELL's in his moment now after being a jobbing actor (twice with LINKLATER) and maybe more with netflix. I guess I may have to watch ANYTHING BUT YOU next month, yet after LISA FRANKENSTEIN after your recommendation. I highly recommend a deep dive into LINKLATER, he is a quiet master of film. x!
Honestly been curious about this one glad to hear that this was a good watch especially since the comedy worked and the story was interesting great review man will try to check this out over the weekend

Great Review, Sully! I was pleasantly surprised by this, as I hadn’t seen any of the trailers or TV spots before going into this - and I thought it was one of the most throughly entertaining films of the year so far. Had a blast with this one!

Been excited to see this movie, I had no idea Richard Linklater was directing, big fan of his, even more pumped for it now. Glen Powell is slowly becoming one of my favorites right now, heck, I hate to admit it, but I even enjoyed Anyone But You 😂
Linklater very rarely misses, and he continues that trend yet again with this one! I actually never got around to seeing Anyone But You, I heard solid things about it though. Thanks for tuning in, dude!

I haven't actually seen a romcom this year. I generally don't watch them unless my wife decides to make it happen. I've been fortunate so far this year. I did have to sit through all three of the Trolls movies on her birthday though, so I haven't exactly made it through unscathed. LoL Great video as always.
