I’m a panthers and skins fan. We’ve felt this way for 30+ years. We’ve NEVER had a top tier QB in Charlotte and Mark Rypien was a one hit wonder in DC, and he had a top ten all time OL. Even Theisman and Doug Williams were overrated. We’ve NEVER had a legit star QB in the modern era. Delhomme doesn’t count. We won in spite of him. And yet somehow there are franchises who have great QBs constantly, one after the other.

Modern day rookie maybe. QBs used to sit behind someone for at least a year unless there was an injury or the team was just horrible. Marino’s first full year was better but it was his 2nd year. There’s probably others. I’m not sure how Jordan Love compared this season to Stroud, but while it’s his first full year as starter, it’s his 4th year or so. I’m still surprised the Panthers didn’t take him.
