In this video we change our snowboard trip plans and drive to Corralco, Chile to chase powder. The snow forecast is calling for 35cm of fresh powder to drop in Corralco. This is our first snowboarding trip to Chile and we're trying to follow the storms to get the best snow. Our first day at Corralco payed off and we had an incredible day of snowboarding in powder. Thank to our new friend David for showing us around the resort. Thanks for watching!

Im glad you guys are having fun in my country! You definitely are in the right place, Corralco has the best snow right now. You should visit Pucón and the Volcán Villarica, it´s got plenty of snow and the best views!!

You guys are getting me pumped for this season! Not sure if you heard about Vail buying 17 resorts here in the Northeast so it looks like we'll get to visit a few more mountains this year now that the Peak Pass and Epic Pass are basically becoming one. 🤘
Is Epic pass really worth buying though? $700 is really steep
@@fhkind9460 It's definitely worth it if you go enough. Ticket prices range but they average around 70 to 130 depending on the mountain.. so if you go atleast 10 times then it pays for itself. My son and I try to go every other weekend. Winters are tough for me so it helps having my tickets paid for in advance. If you buy early in the spring when they first come out then you get them for less and have the option of a payment plan. My son and I pay 200 up front, then 200 a month for 4 months, and then we're all set for winter. This is my second year doing it. If you don't jump on it this year before they go up again Sept 2nd, then I highly recommend next spring.

Just saw this as we are in Santiago riding valle. As I’m sure you know it’s less than ideal. After watching this we might just send it down to Corralco but seeing as it is 9 hours away. Are there any mountains further north that have gotten some snow?

Plan to do Chile near future. How dry is the snow? How does it compare to Hokkaido Japan for example? Thanks!
i think it depends on conditions, you can get japan like but it will be less in probability due to exposed mountains and wind effect. also the temperature is not always constantly super cold
The snow has been very dry! More wind affected than Japan. But only had a few days of riding so far.

Never fly latam airlines they price gouge saying snowboard bags are oversized. First time I've ever had this done and it's $300 each way from Australia and warning don't change money at the airport they swipe 17%, Chileans are out for every dollar they can get my take on the place is sour and going home 2 weeks early
