looks like the crazy we've been missing from this year, and I'm here for it. Mechanics straight out of Driver: San Francisco, noir detective-style work, and strange dark horror? Yes... Yes.
More 3rd Birthday body switching mechanic as that game came out a year before Driver: San Francisco but either way, I've waited way too long for another game to use this mechanic.
Biggest complaint I see about this game is a lack of variety in the missions and enemies you fight but that personally isn’t a dealbreaker for me. It’s my duty as a gamer to support companies that try new ideas.
I didn’t know how to feel about this game at first, but the more I look at it the more I get 3rd Birthday vibes. I had loads of fun with that game, and this takes that concept and runs with it. So I’m all in.
This is the most positive review of the game I have seen so far. Most other reviewers are describing it as a pretty middling experience with a few neat ideas.
I got the deluxe preordered. I'm stoked for it. These guys have always made games that aren't for everyone, the divided scores are no surprise whatsoever. Hope it's successful and they can work on their next title.
Well since every1 is talking about the lack of new IP's ...........here it is. A game from a small team that didn't play it safe.Looks good and if the price is reasonable I will pick it up.
@@raylot13 I got deluxe edition on my series x, I don't have a problem paying an extra $10 plus I'm interested in giving it a stream to talk about tonight. Unlocks in 1 hour and 15 minutes
looks creative and interesting and fun despite the jank, totally grabbing this. way too much derivative garbage being released these days, something with a bit of janky charm is right up my aley
@pixelcount350 No, this is in another category . Simular mechanics sure . But a new "psychological/survival horror " i.p We keep losing them like days gone ,Evil within , clocktower . Dead space , Until recently silent hill or it takes 10 +yrs like dead island 2 . So this has been on alot of people's radar .
@flying1dead155 It's still a double AA game. Don't care what catalog you want to classify this game as. It's a game with a small budget, Small sized team; hence the Double AA titles like Unknown 9 or Banishers or Elex, Vampyr, Wanted Dead or any other game like it.
it looks like my kind of game but i need to know how the controls feel and how well it runs, its esentail info for me as i can put up with things like lack of enemy verity etc but janky controls and poor perfomance are a deal breaker. but there is no mention of that? one incourging thing is Steam reveiws are very possative. i wish there was a demo?
I appreciate you actually talking about the game here in this review, rather than complaining about everything it isn't like I've seen in others today. Like yeah, it look janky as hell, but I love that it isn't trying conform to everything else. It looks like those weird one offs you'd get back in the PS2 days, and I'm here for that.
Yep I pre ordered. Excited and have been looking forward to this since its announcement. Nice review! It’s positive. Don’t listen to the the payed shills
I can't wait for this game and it looks amazing and way better than dustborn and Flintlock siege of dawn and Unknown 9 awakening and Concord and Dragon age the veliguard. If they allowed mods I'm able to make the ghost and Molly McGee mod and you play as Molly McGee and Ollie and Molly McGee never wears the shorts in the mod but she still wears the same outfit without shorts and you're able to see her underwear if you love missing around. I bet it sells like hotcakes since Stellar Blade and black myth wukong and Warhammer 40k space marine 2 and Sker ritual and Monster hunter wilds and the first descendant. And my review score is going to be way better than IGN's
I'm just here for the Team Silent guys. I don't give a crap for scores - I owe them, I'm buying it either way.
How many Team Silent members are you assuming worked on this? 1 isn't all
@viewtiful1doubleokamihand253 *Poser Alert* enjoy the likes though 🤣 😆

Ohhhhh, good call. It 100% is like 3rd Birthday. Can't believe I hadn't thought of that before.
Damn, did not expect to hear this getting good reviews, but now I'm stoked.
I wouldn’t believe the hype. It looks janky
better review than IGN
🙄 Gamers are haterific/temperamental sheep who desperately need their opinions validated
Not hard nowadays..😂
IGN just gave Mario Luigi a 5 out of 10 due to no incest.

Double B maybe
Unknown 9 was awful

It's an ultra cool concept but the character and creature animations looks a bit dated. Will still play it.

So no disney like graphics and content with this game here😃

Undead Unluck but more body horror
Top tier deepsale for the dog days of summer.
It reminds me of the Japanese B rated horror movie called Meatball Machine
But IGN gave it a 5/10. And DA Veilguard a 9/10.
Hmm. I guess I’ll be picking this up.
Still better than veilgaurd

I’ll support anything Silent Hill, Sato and fresh ideas.
I don't know where Naoko Sato is now. She disappeared after Gravity Rush 2. So Keiichiro Toyama wrote the story himself this time.
I want julee to be a survivor in dbd

I sid preorder it but it looks like a mindless hack n slash
i gotta play gravity rush first
