So basically Levan got a lot better when he gained a ton of weight. Experience + mass
He started arm wrestling when he was 21, and after 4 years he was already world champion in both hands. Even on losses shown here, most were final matches for 1st place and also got 1st place on the other hand in the same tournament. So experience was also big part for his undefeated streak not only mass as everyone thinks

If you give attention almost always levan pushes the guys to one side, they turn and go for flop. The same thing gasparini tried to do. What is my guess is that nowadays only guys with HUGE back and shoulder power could touch levan. Even back then he was taking wrists like nothing.
I think the problem is not many people are interested in this sport. It's interesting but gets boring fast. There are gigantic dudes out there for example imagine if hafthor bjornsson trained specifically he's much bigger than Levan. Levan got big too fast his body won't handle it much longer he's just all gear

in the supermatch devon was injured and weight way less than levan and levan himself acknowledged devon as very strong. there are practice matches of them where devon could stop arm of levan for few seconds ultimately the weight difference is too huge. 190-120
