Thanks for the video! I love Poeciliidae! Especially Gambusia. Great to see several species represented here. I’m just getting back into fish keeping after a nearly 20 year hiatus, former ALA member. Looks like I need to rejoin and get to know John. That is a beautiful G. holbrooki strain.
Nice video, thank you and thank him for showing us his Fish Room. I have to agree with you that I like the natural look of his tanks. I strive for the same look in my tanks. I'm really happy with where my plants are right now in particular because I was away for a few weeks and pretty much nothing was done to the tanks other than feeding the fish during that time. So everything really got to go wild without me pruning it at it constantly! 😏
I have Limia Perugia. They have a lot of offspring. AND I have only ONE surviving hybrid between a male Limia Perugia and a female silver Mollie. He is beautiful, but I don’t think that he is fertile. Only time will tell.
I would love to send yall some eastern mosquito fish and eastern starheads (Fundulus Escambiae) give me a email I can send you some more information and get in touch with you?
I actually recently picked up some affinis but I know John has that nice holbrooki colony. Eastern Starheads would be cool but alas, I only have so much room in my house, lol. Currently raising some dispar i caught locally in Illinois. Looking forward to posting about them!
@@AndrewPiorkowski so many people have no idea what awesome fish are right outside the door...the Amazon gets all the credit! Europe is a huge fan of North American native fishes probably more than us here in America..lol
So many beauties!
Glad you liked them! Would love to see more people get into keeping the wild-type livebearers!
Thank you for sharing. Great video. Love to learn about these fish! - Little Bobby
Thanks for watching! Happy to be able to show some of the other rare livebearers that can be found in the hobby 🙂
I came back to this one again. Wow. Those fish are even more fantastic upon a second viewing! - Little Bobby

Wow would love a trio of black belly limia and the tigers as well
The Limia are pretty neat & make wonderful aquarium fish. They shouldn't be too difficult to find some available near you.
Thanks for sharing
An impressive fishroom. And, Andrew, I really appreciate the captions. Good work!

Cześć Andrzej, wstawiaj choć napisy po Polsku,Pozdrawiam Cię z Polski!
I wish I could! Sadly, I do not speak much Polish & typing would be tough. I will try for a future video!
live-bearer insta handle?
Sometimes I put #rarelivebearer on things, normally #goodeid on IG but it's more tongue-in-cheek lol. Thanks for watching!
