- We're getting into the final phase of Hearts of Iron 4 100% Series... Soon it's gonna be time for all those achievements like 30 minutes of Hel, Don't Die For Your Country...That's gonna be a fun time HAHAHAHA!
Until then we have a few Warlord China achievements, mainly the Battlecry achievement where you have to own all of China and Japan. But that's not gonna be easy on its own, we're going to have to face the infinite Japanese wave rush meta and China with all other Warlords on its side. But believe in your leader, TommyKay who is going to show who is the true ruler of this huge country. And also get achievements so we can slowly approach all achievements in this game. Yea, i confirm there is some type of glitch or something. In my game of Manchukuo i had like 20 japanese divisions encircled on the south coast of Korea (Pusan cut off) but the divisions just dont attrition for a whole year and refuse to die. And no enemy planes over Korea, not like the AI knows how to use transport planes for supply.
@@meganoobbg3387 SAME! I had like 15 Japanese divisions completely encircled in the little bit of North Korea bordering the soviets, for a year they didn't lose equipment or org.

One time I was playing India, there is like 4 or so Japanese divisions in the mountains in Papua, completely cutoff and no way to resupply, but they seemingly has supplies out of nowhere. Is this bug or otherwise I really don't know because the more recent naval invasion they send quickly run out of supply and die, but not those guys in the mountains.

I had a game, where I as China killed all japanese divsions in China in 1941, 6 month's later Japan declares war on the allies. 2 month's after that, I looked at the dutch east indies and what did I saw? A japanese Victory. Then I looked at Japan 202 divisions and I was like: Dude WTF, how can you have 200 divisions? I killed you!

How I normally play against the AI is that I first of all just def and let them run out of quipment and manpower, after that I push. It might not be the most elegant way of playing but it just works and isn't painful. Building forts also helps a lot.

I feel like Tommy is playing the game either wrong or at a higher difficulty. I have none of these Attrition problems and have gotten these achievements. The Japanese AI is stupid against me. I feel like some of the reasons he hates hoi4 now are his problems

Attacking France as Italy and even though I control all of savoy my devisions attrition because the port is blockaded.

@daniel halachev This! Sometimes it really feels like as soon as you break through the ai teleports people there to fill the gap. In late patches your only choice is to overwhelm the ai, since they can instantly counter every maneuver you make.
Sometimes i wait on a border for months and nothing moves, but as soon as i attack and pierce the line... Boom, 5 divisions just arrived all around the salient

The supply system is buggy. When you make an encirclement, make sure you reload the game. When you reload, the supply values goes to normal.

AI pisses me off in this game. I couldn't break through Greece as turkey with naval invasions, paratroopers, and attacking on the border. You can tell troops appear out of thin air even though all 3 attack angles had 60% or more chance of succeeding according to my generals. Every time I went for an encirclement an enemy troop appeared. All with green air. I have no idea what I was doing wrong after multiple tries.

For Paratroopers actually do not send any planes to Japan, you want them to keep the airspace empty. Keep the transport plane on the ground as well. As long as the airspace is completely empty, your paratroopers can walk in like nobody's business.

AI does actually cheat though. There have been times where I have absolute naval supremacy and somehow they manage to navally invade. Meanwhile I need 13 Battleships and 200 Destroyers to get a Naval Invasion against Norway.
