To do the girlfriend focus, you have to have 100 million manpower in the field, own every state, have 50 battleships, have 25 aircraft carriers, have Morgan Freeman as your leader, be Democratic for the entire game, never join a faction, and then wait 10 years for the focus to finish. Before that though you must complete the "Get a fucking job" focus, the "Take a shower" focus, the "make some friends" focus, and the "find something that interests you that normal people like" focus. Once you've done all of that the girl of your dreams will appear. That is, if you have Waking the Tiger.
