I've had two earlier versions of the picasso, a xsara picasso and grand c4 picasso. Although they weren't the most exciting cars to drive they were probably the most practical vehicles I've owned. Very likeable cars.

I have the C 4 Picasso Flair diesel with the auto box and I have covered almost 30.000 miles in under 2 years. It is a super car that I am delighted with. I am due to change it next year as it is on lease. I.will be looking at the new Spacetourer after watching this video.Very well presented. Thank you.

Perfect for families
We own the previous C4 model, just encounter a pedestrian walking in front of the car and if you don't have a heart attack as the car suddenly comes to a halt without the driver doing anything then you will be lucky, best car ever owned.

Hello,how do you feel about that 3 cyl engine after some time? Is it manual or auto gearbox? Thinking of this car but that 3 cyl is kind of unknown for me so help if you can. Thanks
@@misterijaaaa I really had doubts before, but the engine works pretty fine (30k km so far). I drive a manual gear and the car has a really cool acceleration. That the engine is small (maybe too small) you realise at higher speed (140 kph+) - the car get's loud and loses it's agility. I read some reviews about engine failures - but i had no problems so far.
Oh, another thing is the paint (black colour) - it's terribly sensitive and seems not to be the best quality.
But at the end i still recommend the C4 - it's great car!

I love my Space Tourer 'Flare model' petrol 1.2. The best car I have ever had. Great on the road and very useful extras.

I'm interested in buying the c4 picasso now as a private car.
Really like the design of it.
The only thing I don't like is that only the 1.6vti is a reliable engine but it lacks power.
Hoped the 1.2 puretech would be better than the 1.6 thp but to bad.

After Renault decided that style must rule over function, with the latest Scenic, this is the obvious choice for those of us who prefer our MPVs French. and to me, any SUV is far more boring to look at than even the most mundane MPV. Function is more beautiful than empty attitude.
I like your statement. But then give me something that looks like a brick or a stone then. No need for fancy stupid huyndai or peugeot streched curves. I like understated design. Function over useless design? Fine, but give me something clean.
I need to test drive one to see if it's as good as the Ford Focus suspensionwise.

Thank you for the review! Bought the 5 seater with petrol automatic gearbox not long ago. It's a brilliant car! It has that light and airy feel to it. It takes bumps on the road very smoothly and is a comfortable ride for my kids. One thing that is annoying are the location/size of the cupholders! Why the bloody hell did they put them there and each holes are so close to each other it's impossible to put two drinks side by side. That TomTom navigation map is a bit slow but working. I use Apple's car play anyway. Overall a nice car and not too expensive to tax and insure (band 19E)! Why would I ever need a gas guzzling, expensive to insure SUV?

Since when is the EAT6 jerky? I've been in multiple cars with it and it's extremely smooth, I couldn't even tell when it was shifting!

Thank U 4 a completé car review 😘👍 but do you thing I ask for problems with a diesel , I love the diesel but only drive maximum 5000km/year , but I know that I must take an extra tour , just to get the diesel the heath , and the chanse to "DEGENERATE" the particular filter , once and awhile !!!! Can I give a strait answer to this ?

I currently own a 2015 Citroen C4 Picasso, 1.6 blue HDI Diesel with automatic gearbox. Bought it in 2020.
Thinking of buying this one from the video this or the next year, not because the one I have has anything wrong with it, but because I feel Im getting near the point of where the value is going to drop.
What are the experiences with this model? How are the new engines? Im particularly interested in 1.5 diesel with automatic gearbox

What's the difference between the Grand C4 Picasso and the Grand C4 Spacetourer, please?
The C4 Picasso became the C4 Spacetourer when Citroen decided they no longer wanted to pay a royalty on each car to the Picasso foundation. However, as the Spacetourer is newer, there are some more refinements such as automatic braking if you get too close to the car in front!

I do miss the mention of the flaps on the 2nd row so you have a totally flat cargo area, plus... no massage in the front seats?
BTW, 2 things strike me on video edit part... the transition from announcer back > rotate > continue with a new topic is nice... the first 5 times... plus, is very UK driven ... why not, while editing the video, add text with imperial/metric conversions ... a nice text with all the horse-powers and engine capacities, while the announcer talks about it... it would make the viewer much more in-sync with all the tech talk.
Regarding the car, I own the 2013 version ... if they only had the new Kona EV engine ... I would change in a heartbeat ;-)

I don’t feel as the EAT6 is so ”jerky”, the one being the jerkiest must be the ETG gearbox.

Isn’t your review missing a MAJOR FLAW in this “family” car: it is not possible to use Rear Facing ISOFIX car seats on the 2 outer back seats.
This is due to the underfoot storage boxes which prevent from using an ISOFIX support leg.
I just bought one and found out too late.
Citroen does not give any info, advice, recommendations about this issue which they know exists: simply unacceptable.
C4 Picasso/SpaceTourer is a health hazard for young children or am I missing something ??
Wow is this true? Thanks for letting us know. Is there anyway to put extra support on the underfloor storage by filling it with something and then placing the isofix support leg?
Its the only SUV with real huge legroom for the backseat passengers, and three real seats. Seat 6&7 are only suitable for small children aged 5-10. The center display is annoying , you want the information right in front of you. And to be honrst, it is quite ugly. The automatic gear selector comes from a different age and looks very brittle. But overall this is the best “grand” travel car in its class.

Script: You could also change the display of the dials from round to square, though we're not sure why you'd want to.
Reality: The dials on the display of the car he's reviewing have been changed to square 🤷
Please try to use new scripts for newer models of vehicles you review. This one for example is 97% unchanged from the initial 2013 C4 Picasso script used in the review of that car. Makes it look like you're lazy 🙁

Bro, you are literally using the same script, word for word, from the 2016 review. I had them side by side and there are 2 presenters saying the same words. That's a bit lazy, it makes me think you haven't actually done your job in this review.
