I initially loved the handle and the staining job....but had to stop watching when the wedging started. OMG - as a traditional axe lover that was too hard to watch. Ouch that was bad !
yes. Like what the F*** is he doing there haha
Yea I felt it in my soul had to turn away
Amen. Way too much band saw ruined that IMO and it got worse from there. Such a shame because he did a great job restoring the head and designing/working the rest of the handle.
Wranglerstar is rolling in his grave, and he isn't even dead yet.
Lmao wtf
Not the way I normally do it but there’s a thousand ways of doing it right.
It is a beautiful piece of functional art very pleasing to the eye, thanks for sharing 🙏
Outstanding! The best looking axe I have ever seen. I had fun watching you make it. Thank you.
+Michael Kitterman Thanks man!
Beautiful! I like the idea of a big knob on the end of the handle to act as a counterweight and to keep it from flying out of my hand too
Thank you!
Bloody AMAZING m8!!!!! So very obvious that you have both a gift and a love of creating things.
+charrontheboatman thanks man! Really appreciate it!
Beautiful piece, Hassan. I was little turned off from that lava stain at first, I thought it was too red, but I'm really impressed with the color and at how beautifully it shows the grain.
Yeah it came out really awesome!
Thanks bud!
Nice job. Not sure why but I find it pleasing to se an ace, hatchet, mallet or hammer cleaned up and rehandled.
Thanks!
its just fascinating
Lyle Kobberstad

Now that's an ice breaker, "yeah, I stained it with lava, no big deal". Great job mate
Thanks bud!
Nice job, excellent footage. This will come in handy if I find any non-standard heads.

Tom

Nice axe man! Good job!
Thank you!
as always awesome job !
Thanks man!
Parabéns !
Ficou Lindo.
You need to leave a couple of extra inches on top to get a good fit. You had plenty of wood to work with. Just need to put in the time to get it as good as possible
nice job man and beautiful German Axe Head
Thank you!
very nice hassan. thanks..
Prima gemacht. Sehr gute Arbeit!!!!!!!
+Dieter Sporleder Dankeschön ;-)
Recently did an axe head like this and I was really just glad I had a working axe at the end. Haha
😁
Nice job on this!
Thanks bud!
any recommendations on good course woodworking rasps, course metal working resps, spokeshave, Pullsaw or good woodworking saw, chisels, and anything anything else?
Should I get a table saw or band saw?
Good work , ya hamza.....verrryyyy nice👍
Thank you 😁🤙🏼
As a Forester: This will not last long.
he had tu use beech or ash wood for the handle, fir (if i'm not wrong the wood he used was this) is too bad
This beautiful tool will last longer than most of us..., and will STILL be pretty, and highly effective!
Richard Bonner no, it really won’t it’s just not made correctly
Richard Bonner It will last as long as you say it will only if he doesn’t actually use it for its intended purpose... I would have made it a super snug fit and the end where the axe head fits, so it stuck out two inches past the end of the axe head. make my wedge cut, then beat on the bottom end of the handle till it drove it to the area I wanted it. Then I would have trimmed off the excess to about an inch and drove my wedge so that it bent outward over the top of the axe head, then take off the remaining excess till it still had a little under an inch still protruding. If this person intends to actually use this axe, that head is coming off in a few strikes.
Subaru Forester?
Wanderful job.
Ach ja sie machen Hammer Videos, schaue sie mir immer wieder gerne an!:)

lovely handle :)
Thank you!

Excelente video.
¿Que son los componentes quimicos que usa para cubrir la cabeza del hacha?
¿Es resina epoxi?
Gracias.
Looks great, I am a bit intreged as to who made the axe head, I don't think I have seen that makers mark before.
Very nice. Wasn't expecting the resin on the head end.
Thank you!
I love it man!

......sieht super aus!!!
+Günther Schulz Dankeschön!
Wow you have really fast hands
+Roberosein Someonesmomovich hehe thank you!
Any problems with the head loosening ? or still hold up?
Some of those fast motion clips made me laugh out loud lol... very nice work. Not a huge fan of the wedging process, the stain, or the heavy use of the belt saw... but if i end up being half as good as you are ill be more than happy. Very nicely done.
Hehe, thanks man!
Aweasome job!
+Fabiano Gomes Thank you!
Beautiful work on carving the handle but I suspect Cody would say that's not a properly hung axe.
Dude that axe is real sweet lookin, but lets see it at work man.
+yooperts Thanks man! Yeah, maybe... ;-)

+Mark Davis Thanks
Awesome man!!!

So your the guy that makes those handles and sells them at fleet farm. I knew it. Great job btw. what's the black. Is it a sort of glue?

Richtig cool zum Holzhacken
Muito lindo seu trabalho, você esta de parabéns.
Obrigado 😉😊
nice, very nice 👍
+Tom 0815 Thank you!
Super!
pretty sweet
Vert good job. Congratulations from France. Could you indicate the dimension of the handle please ?
Does anyone know the Maker of the axe head? I have 1 like it with the bird on it, also 1250 stamped on it
What kind of blade on the bandsaw did you use for this video?
What is the white powder? What is the black liquid poured over top?
Looks awesome! Wouldn't swing it though. grinding the whole body like that can damage the steel's strength from the intense heat. Fire acadamies usually reccomend sanding by hand. 😨
VERY NICE! Can you tell me what do you use in the head? is it epoxy resin?? I even have an old axt-head in my garage so i will have a try too :D
Superb
hi, nice job, how much time to do that?
very nice, can you tell me what kind of resin you dyed and put on the axe head
+Ben Ellis Thank you! The epoxy is from PHD 24... good stuff!
Profesional,muy profesional,desde Barcelona,👍🙌
Gracias 😁👍🏼
Nice cable but GOD, worst head fitting ever made!
+D. Daniel This was an experimental fitting... Go and check my other vids ;-)
Hassan Abu-Izmero i understand XD. But after that awesome handle the axe head deserved a better fitting. nice video though... thanks for the reply.
+D. Daniel You're right, but till now it works great...! You're welcome 😊
Beautiful handle and nice clean up on the axe itself- but with all due respect the hafting was really bad. Please make another handle and re-haft.
Perfect job. Thanks !
+Keith Shreve Thank you...! ;-)
Nice job
Thank you!
Only arrogance would dictate that one's way is the only right way! Very impressive.
