3:58 That shot in particular looks like a photograph of the real thing - very impressive modelling indeed!

Lovely little layout. My own is going to be Ongar Station in its current guise - heritage railway. Ongar Station was originally a Great Eastern Railway station.

As soon as this started I thought EM gauge? It just looks so right. Modelling is outstanding.

Goes without saying Paul - I’ve always admired CM layouts and you can maintain it for the future🙏😎

If you had told me this is O gauge, I would have believed it. Remarkable.

What a difference adopting the correct gauge. HO/OO is such a compromise. It always puzzles me that this compromise persisted.

The only way I would control my layout would be DCC. I’m an absolute digital nut, currently owning no track because my old layout got cannibalised to make my club’s digital layout work properly. My next layout will be Ongar Station as it is today. Locomotives in use:
Pitchford Hall, 4141, Class 31 diesel, Class 37 diesel, Class 03 diesel shunter in BR Brunswick Green.

Can you please tell me what class of DMU you are running and I assume it is the correct class for the 1950s and through the mid-1960s? Lovely layout and story, a great place Bawdsey and the RAF station.

Lovely layout - those point motors - are they H & M or Codar as I have new ones of both if you would like them? Phil
