I don't understand why there are people who are still pushing Biden to run. The job of the President requires a stable mental and physical health for atleast 10 hours straight daily and 24/7 in state of emergency. If this is about defeating Trump, there must be a better candidate to defeat Trump right? Let Biden take a rest and live his last days with his family. Poor man, politics and public service already consume most of his life.
Clearly it doesn’t. Washington DC is showing us that the president they want is just a figurehead. Someone else is making all the real decisions. This is probably why they don’t want a knucklehead like Trump in office trying to make his own decisions.
Honestly, we are at the point in the election where no candidate will be meat Trump outside of Biden. None of them will get close. Except Michelle Obama, but that’s based on one poll.

I really don’t understand where all this is coming from. This has been him for 4 years! I really wasn’t surprised by his performance. Why are they just now concerned?
Because they've been willfully ignorant, going along with all the excuses every step of the way. As much as I love our rights, these people shouldn't be allowed to vote. They know practically nothing about politics, nor how they're regularly being decived.
It's a shame, I really pity them because I remember when I was the same way growing up. Once I started seeing things for how it really was it hit me like a ton of bricks. If these people came to the same realizations I truly believe that they wouldn't be able to handle it.

What I find surprising is that there is no official government agency that is supposed to check if a person is mentally and physically fit to run for office. Most european countries have something like that. If I were American, I think i'd simply not go voting. I mean, the choice is between a pot and a kettle. I don't fully understand the US political process that resulted in these two candidates. It shows how the process is completely unfit for selecting the best candidates for president. I heard in so many American movies about the "founding fathers", but for people who do not realize, the American political system was the copied and improved English political system that was in the 18th century. The US Constitution is the result of that improvement. At that time, they didn't have anything else to use as a reference. This is why, I would say, in the last 50 years, there has been a continuous erosion of US political decisions. The US political system needs a massive overhaul.

Biden was actually trying to make points and provide real examples and support for his responses. But it is a lot harder to concisely respond to questions within a minute or two when you're actually trying to make points and the other guy is just saying random lies without immunity. The Biden campaign lost the debate in negotiating the format and set up the President for a poor performance because the moderators agreed not to fact check nor allow them more than a couple of minutes to respond.

The bars for expectations for each candidate were set differently. Exceeding and not meeting said expectations said so much more about the expectations for each candidate going into the debate.

According to Joe's sister Val, he was diagnosed with dementia back before 2019 and his family didn't want him to run because of it. Dr. John Campbell's RUclips channel recently posted a video about the type of degenerative dementia Joe has.

But you all hated him BEFORE they found 34 ways to accuse him of incorrectly documenting a payment. In fact, he was prosecuted for this crime that took 8 years to dig up (with heavy digging) just so he wouldn’t be able to run. So the convict thing is really a moot point.

The widepsread perception, even among people that strongly dislike Trump (including myself) is that his conviction means absolutely squat. In fact, it is more positive than negative... it gives him an outlaw image, which Americans have always loved.
