I think it's possible that we misunderstood why Hyuna broke into the Alien Stage. She was downloading information from the Alien Tech. Maybe this wasn't about saving Ivan/Till/Luka but to use them as distraction. Which is why Hyuna tried to stop Mizi from running onto the Stage? Hyuna felt guilty and followed. Another possibilty is that the plan was to download information and THEN break the contestants out, but since the Aliens made Till sing right after round 6 there wasn't enough time to do both.
Hyuna in the last round was injured and in this round she's still injured which means that Ivan and Till died on the same day and R7 happened directly after R6.
i love till to death but I FEEL LIKE it made sense for him to die....... till's character has already been explored, his suffering, his love for mizi and relationship with ivan too. whereas luka is a character we barely know and are not that attached to. so from a storytelling standpoint, till's death made sense bc it actually had an impact. also i think they'll explore luka pov of his childhood and the whole hyunwoo thing if theres a next vid and THEN have him die in front of hyuna :p
Completely agree, sure ideally he could’ve joined the rebellion. But is that *needed* for the story. Mizi is the story’s main focus. Her coming from a loving alien owner to now loosing everyone she grew up with, including the love of her life Sua, because of the aliens. It will affect her moving forward and progress the story. Also we still don’t know much about Luka like we do with the others, other than extra side lore, and how his relationship with Hyuna will unfold. It’s hurts, but I very much appreciate Vivinos not being afraid to loose characters (especially ones that are extremely loved) to progress storytelling.
these are both really brilliant takes. i’m so glad i’m not the writer because the direction alnst is going in sounds far more interesting than anything i’ve been imagining. each round hurts at first (or every time i rewatch) but more importantly they leave me going “NOW what???” ,,,which might be because ive never been great with predictions, but it means more surprises for me so i see that as a win :D !!

to me this round is very much a reality check (to the reality of the alnst world of course) reminding you that ultimately if you falter there isnt hope. if you lose focus its over for you.

Luka is going to make us cry in the next alien stage video, mark my words. He have yet to see his pov on any of this. In my opinion he is just as much as a victim as everyone else. Sure, the manipulation he did wasn't nice, but why should he sacrifice himself for people he doesn't know? SO later on, Till starts to panic because there was something wrong with his mic. In the end, when Mizi came, Till started to sing better because he realized that his mic was off so he turned it on and started to go to Mizi but by then, the final scores was already decided so it was too late. Edit: (TO POINT OUT, I might be wrong since his mic was already red from the start but then proceeds to turn green so I actually don't know if I'm right or not but again this is my opinion!!!) OTHER THAN THAT I DON'T THINK I CAN DO THIS ANYMORE I CAN'T COPE TILL WAS MY FAVORITE.THINGS ASIDE, BLINK GONE IS SUCH AN AMAZING SONG it truly displayed their emotions.

I've seen the mic theory going around, but I'm a bit skeptical about it. The two main theories are this one and the lights being indicators of their mental states. I'm more inclined to believe the latter since Till's mic turned on upon seeing Mizi, but he made no motion to turn it on

Alright, I'm just going to paint a picture of what it was like to see r7 at 6:00 am in the morning, I usually go to school pretty damn early so I had to some time to fuck around before then so when I saw r7 in my old yellow kitchen as Luka used his mind fucker on till I slowly fell to my kitchen floor and started wailing like a I just lost my 3rd husband, I was shaking, my throat felt clogged and my heart was beating faster then a rabbit could run and then I had to suck all that up and pretend to be normal at school. Honestly, I'm mentally kicking myself for having hope since I've been a Vivinos fan since suki suki daisuki, I should have known it wasn't gonna end well, not after my beloved.
i love luka simply because how he survives through anything and everything. he knows how to live through alien stage and he does it. someone HAS to die and he's making sure its not him. at the same time i think hyuna is the only one he really cares about so im very curious to see if we'll get a hunaXluka and if yes then how will it go?
doesnt matter how good the song and who fits perfect to it. no one knew the two rounds will be happening soo soon after each other, the stress the trauma lack of sleep... he didnt had a chance to win no matter how much people been coping for it... this is traumatic show lets not forget
Theres a theory that hyuna was hacking the system so that till and luka have the same score. As you can see at the end the bar rises up right before the winner is announced. But hyuna doesnt get to finish the sequence in time hence the score.
11:56 you can see the green bar spike at the end but the winner is announced. Hyuna also probably opened the backstage gates through the same folder to see mini and luka at the end.
unfortunately i think Till's death makes sense from a purely narrative standpoint. from my very limited knowledge in this series (im pretty new to alien stage only a few months bc i wanted to see why everyone was saying no ones more depressed than alien stage fans, so im not very attached to anyone), Till no matter how much everyone wants him to be is NOT the main protagonist. He IS A protag but not the main one, purely due to the fact the Mizi has been involved since the beginning and the audience doesnt rlly understand whats going on at first js like her who doesnt seem to understand the real mechanics behind alien stage. not to mention every other character we've been introduced to was through their connection to Mizi (except Ivan... mostly): Sua as her love interest, Till as the one who has a crush on her, Luka her competitor and also the prev winner, and Hyuna her savior and subsquent mentor. the narrative revolves around Mizi, but is haunted by Sua. When Mizi is taken out of the competition, Till becomes the secondary protagonist so that we can follow whats still going on inside alien stage. Till has also been a very openly rebellious person, so having him die also gives the option of him becoming a martyr to the human rebellion. Also, i just cant see where Till's character CAN go from this point if he didnt win- maybe im not creative enough but idk. And, finally, my most tragic point, killing Till off in the same way Sua was killed is enough of a reason for Mizi to absolutely HATE Luka regardless of other circumstances. Her tragic story from someone that other protected due to her naivety to the person that lost everyone close to her is so interesting, and idk where vivinos plans to go with this or what to do in the ending but killing Till unfortunately provides a lot of room to add more layers to the relationships between the characters still alive.
another point why till's death was so good from a narrative point is his character arc basically went rebel against aliens --> (mizi "dies") till loses all motivation --> (ivan dies) till gets even more depressed, messes up R7 when luka uses this --> (mizi reappearing) till rebelling against the aliens, even though he's already going to die. till's character is all about fighting back, and he lost that. but even though r7 ended with luka winning, till saw mizi and immediately started singing again. his character is about rebelling, even when it's futile. :')
@sirMYOMIN YESSS SUCH A GOOD POINT!!! each main character we're introduced to embodies a rlly specific archetype of character within dystopia stories; mizi the naivete hardened by their surroundings or even js the mc lol, sua the symbol, till the rebel, Ivan is somewhere around obedient rebel, Luka is the 'perfect' example of how one should behave, and Hyuna is the face of the rebellion. or in terms of hunger games character's they're similar to - mizi is prim, sua is rue, till is gale or joanna, Ivan is probably peeta (? cant think of anyone else he rlly fits), Luka is finnick, and Hyuna is katniss lol. And the way each of them are written to perfectly fit the role but live it out in different ways is so interesting as well

It's so fun to see someone who actually understands the Lore to some point, because I'm rooting for your reaction honestly all the reaction i saw were of people who watched alien stage in one go or one sitting so they don't really understand the lore that great, the theories you know, what's going on so it doesn't make it as fun but I like your video and how you understand or at least have some kind of understanding of the characters, thank you
I'm pretty sure there's gonna be more content still. I don't think this is the proper finale. I originally thought it was the end but the "bonus guests" at the end hints at there being more that shows the events leading after all this.

I think Hyuna's original plan was to intrude through the backstage door so they could immediately go on stage, save Till, and then leave safely. But because Hyuna was injured, the process went slower. Mizi was too worried about Till, so she tried to intrude through the guest gate, and... everything after that happened. (Just my theory though)

There's a theory that might be true but till's mic is off almost the whole round(you can see it glowing red), luka pointed it out to till(he was whispering to his ear) but till thought he turned it on but it was still off so luka laughed, at the end where it was shown luka was 1st and till was 2nd, he just realized his mic was still off and turn it on(you can see when he was going to mizi his mic was now green)
The color of the mic relates to the wearer emotions. Till's emotion was unstable the whole time because he was suffering from Ivan's death, so it was red. When he saw Mizi, he had hope and confident to fight again. Therefore the mic turned green.
Just to pull at your gut more, you hear that xylophone in the background of the flashback? Ivan gave Till a xylophone as his birthday gift, so even in his flashback and his final moments, Ivan was still in Till's thoughts.
My two fav characters.. Ivan and till.. gone..😭 and I was accepting of ivan's death because it was for a purpose,c I don't know. I came to an understanding of it but I can never get over till's death.
Actually till isnt dead!! So he just fell asleep but then he wakes up and ivan is alive too!! and theyre all like "yayy" And then sua comes back and then her and mizi kiss!! And then ivan ACTUALLY confesses and till is like "okay!" and they ride off into the sunset with hyuna the end
Till literally Blink Gone.. the aliens probably oof him when they sense he's stepping out of the stage, they got strict after all ivan and mizi incidents. And they favor Luka more because he's the best example of a performer they wanted and not a rebel like Till is.

Im more curious on whats gonna happen next, mizi and hyuna were shown in the end as special guests, so whats gonna happen? Are they gonna: A) have hyuna and mizi sing against each other? B) throw a flashback about luka and hyuna C) have hyuna and luka sing against each other D) explore mizi's past Its so interesting because from here, there are so many possibilities on what could happen, and personally i feel like something cool they could end up doing is (B), then (A), and then (D), and then the final final part of alien stage would be a rematch of mizi and luka, where mizi beats luka forreal

What messes me up the most is that assumedly all the rounds are supposed to happen in waves on the same day. In the initial rounds everyone is watching eachother and Till's injury/blood carries over, confirming that it's definitely the same day. However, Till's injury and blood in gone in Round 5, confirming that time has passed. Because of Mizi's attempt, I assume that they had to move Round 6 to the same day as the final round (because they also clearly take place on the same day) Imagine being completely prepared to die like Till was, only to have a friend sacrifice himself for you and then you have to move onto the next round. Till probably didn't even prepare to battle Luka. No wonder he ended up with a nosebleed.
Bbg Till did NOT deserve any of that. I have never hated Luka more than right now, and I say that liking both of the characters. WHY CAN’T WE HSVE A HAPPY ENDING 😭😭
If you are familiar with Vivinos work, then you know she is the queen of tragedy. I had the same wishes but I knew better to not hold onto it because damn…Vivinos’ speciality is making you love and mourn for a character in a short amount of time.

My guess is that, that’s why there no round 4 because it was the brown haired girl and Luka battling against each other. But Luka won and they took the brown haired girl but she escaped and that how she found mizi. And Luka was surprised to see her because he thought that she was dead. Cuz I’m pretty sure they were childhood friends.

i love luka simply because how he survives through anything and everything. he knows how to live through alien stage and he does it. someone HAS to die and he's making sure its not him. at the same time i think hyuna is the only one he really cares about so im very curious to see if we'll get a hunaXluka and if yes then how will it go?
I'm Luka Fan but really i thought Till will win too because this song is like a good song for Till.
doesnt matter how good the song and who fits perfect to it. no one knew the two rounds will be happening soo soon after each other, the stress the trauma lack of sleep... he didnt had a chance to win no matter how much people been coping for it... this is traumatic show lets not forget

Theres a theory that hyuna was hacking the system so that till and luka have the same score. As you can see at the end the bar rises up right before the winner is announced. But hyuna doesnt get to finish the sequence in time hence the score.
The green bar is tills whilst the purples one is luka
11:56 you can see the green bar spike at the end but the winner is announced. Hyuna also probably opened the backstage gates through the same folder to see mini and luka at the end.
the fact that a xylophone plays at the end when Till is dying and that Ivan was the one who gave Till a xylophone QAQ
unfortunately i think Till's death makes sense from a purely narrative standpoint. from my very limited knowledge in this series (im pretty new to alien stage only a few months bc i wanted to see why everyone was saying no ones more depressed than alien stage fans, so im not very attached to anyone), Till no matter how much everyone wants him to be is NOT the main protagonist. He IS A protag but not the main one, purely due to the fact the Mizi has been involved since the beginning and the audience doesnt rlly understand whats going on at first js like her who doesnt seem to understand the real mechanics behind alien stage. not to mention every other character we've been introduced to was through their connection to Mizi (except Ivan... mostly): Sua as her love interest, Till as the one who has a crush on her, Luka her competitor and also the prev winner, and Hyuna her savior and subsquent mentor.
the narrative revolves around Mizi, but is haunted by Sua. When Mizi is taken out of the competition, Till becomes the secondary protagonist so that we can follow whats still going on inside alien stage. Till has also been a very openly rebellious person, so having him die also gives the option of him becoming a martyr to the human rebellion. Also, i just cant see where Till's character CAN go from this point if he didnt win- maybe im not creative enough but idk.
And, finally, my most tragic point, killing Till off in the same way Sua was killed is enough of a reason for Mizi to absolutely HATE Luka regardless of other circumstances. Her tragic story from someone that other protected due to her naivety to the person that lost everyone close to her is so interesting, and idk where vivinos plans to go with this or what to do in the ending but killing Till unfortunately provides a lot of room to add more layers to the relationships between the characters still alive.
another point why till's death was so good from a narrative point is his character arc basically went rebel against aliens --> (mizi "dies") till loses all motivation --> (ivan dies) till gets even more depressed, messes up R7 when luka uses this --> (mizi reappearing) till rebelling against the aliens, even though he's already going to die.
till's character is all about fighting back, and he lost that. but even though r7 ended with luka winning, till saw mizi and immediately started singing again. his character is about rebelling, even when it's futile. :')
@sirMYOMIN YESSS SUCH A GOOD POINT!!! each main character we're introduced to embodies a rlly specific archetype of character within dystopia stories; mizi the naivete hardened by their surroundings or even js the mc lol, sua the symbol, till the rebel, Ivan is somewhere around obedient rebel, Luka is the 'perfect' example of how one should behave, and Hyuna is the face of the rebellion. or in terms of hunger games character's they're similar to - mizi is prim, sua is rue, till is gale or joanna, Ivan is probably peeta (? cant think of anyone else he rlly fits), Luka is finnick, and Hyuna is katniss lol. And the way each of them are written to perfectly fit the role but live it out in different ways is so interesting as well

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be more content still. I don't think this is the proper finale. I originally thought it was the end but the "bonus guests" at the end hints at there being more that shows the events leading after all this.

I think Hyuna's original plan was to intrude through the backstage door so they could immediately go on stage, save Till, and then leave safely. But because Hyuna was injured, the process went slower. Mizi was too worried about Till, so she tried to intrude through the guest gate, and... everything after that happened. (Just my theory though)

There's a theory that might be true but till's mic is off almost the whole round(you can see it glowing red), luka pointed it out to till(he was whispering to his ear) but till thought he turned it on but it was still off so luka laughed, at the end where it was shown luka was 1st and till was 2nd, he just realized his mic was still off and turn it on(you can see when he was going to mizi his mic was now green)

The color of the mic relates to the wearer emotions. Till's emotion was unstable the whole time because he was suffering from Ivan's death, so it was red. When he saw Mizi, he had hope and confident to fight again. Therefore the mic turned green.

Just to pull at your gut more, you hear that xylophone in the background of the flashback? Ivan gave Till a xylophone as his birthday gift, so even in his flashback and his final moments, Ivan was still in Till's thoughts.

My two fav characters.. Ivan and till.. gone..😭 and I was accepting of ivan's death because it was for a purpose,c I don't know.
I came to an understanding of it but I can never get over till's death.
Actually till isnt dead!! So he just fell asleep but then he wakes up and ivan is alive too!! and theyre all like "yayy" And then sua comes back and then her and mizi kiss!! And then ivan ACTUALLY confesses and till is like "okay!" and they ride off into the sunset with hyuna the end
Till literally Blink Gone.. the aliens probably oof him when they sense he's stepping out of the stage, they got strict after all ivan and mizi incidents. And they favor Luka more because he's the best example of a performer they wanted and not a rebel like Till is.

A) have hyuna and mizi sing against each other?
B) throw a flashback about luka and hyuna
C) have hyuna and luka sing against each other
D) explore mizi's past
Its so interesting because from here, there are so many possibilities on what could happen, and personally i feel like something cool they could end up doing is (B), then (A), and then (D), and then the final final part of alien stage would be a rematch of mizi and luka, where mizi beats luka forreal

What messes me up the most is that assumedly all the rounds are supposed to happen in waves on the same day. In the initial rounds everyone is watching eachother and Till's injury/blood carries over, confirming that it's definitely the same day. However, Till's injury and blood in gone in Round 5, confirming that time has passed. Because of Mizi's attempt, I assume that they had to move Round 6 to the same day as the final round (because they also clearly take place on the same day)
Imagine being completely prepared to die like Till was, only to have a friend sacrifice himself for you and then you have to move onto the next round. Till probably didn't even prepare to battle Luka. No wonder he ended up with a nosebleed.
