As stated, Curtis wrote and first performed this song. This version is a merger of the original and the Gladys Knight version, along with a solo part Vince added. Curtis’s version is untouchable, but Gladys’s cover is great too. We tried to pay respect to both versions. Ledisi sounds amazing.
