Played the course for the first time this year. Gave me a newfound respect for anyone who plays the week of dglo.
I went last year and let me just say, the last day I ended up just camping some holes semi near the top
right out the gate this course lets you know whats up. #1 - beautiful, sweeping, downhill shot. then - #2 - 680' distance with a massive 80' in elevation! i'd be out of breath holing out on #2's pin! and then welcome to #3.... haven't watched the entire vid yet - but as always i can safely say - some of the best dg content on youtube!
One of my favorite courses to watch the pros play on. Let alone a stress free Ezra/Goose round. Perfection.

For Aaron’s shoutout on 7, that’s brand new. I played this course all summer and that wasn’t there as of about 2 weeks ago. Super happy to see them make a small adjustment like that.
Goose's analysis of each hole is unparalled, I love it
instead of tape, try rp1500 glue with the spray activator for your finger. ive put back some gnarly cuts on my hand with that and im sure can be used as preventative. no caap

Played this course a few months ago. Nice to see they cut the grass. Usually if you go off the fairway left or right you will be looking a loong time for your disc. Having someone throw first then go and spot for the rest of the group is a must on this fun but challenging course.

According to stat mando, Goose is 3rd in C2 Reg and 6th in C1 Reg.
Goose is right on, 9-15 are all interesting holes to play but some don’t punish bad shots and the others only reward amazing ones. Absolutely love the course but a few small tweaks with that in mind could help. I do think the took a ceiling limb out on 13 that will make it more birdieable than last year. Great course still.
Goose needs to join the Power DGA as a coach to teach us how to throw that side arm of his.

Ezra, try getting your hands on the 2020 Brian Earhart zone (I think they were Z swirl?) - they're very straight out of the box. All the torque resistance but very mellow and late fade.

@@EzraAderholdDG when you were talking about taking the OB lie "By the basket" and because you and goose agreed, its legal. There was that controversy with Cat where she was taking a lie after an OB shot and the official was arguing with her, but she said because her card mates picked the spot he had to differ to the cards decision. If I recall.. she took a favorable lie after he disc went OB.

I'd be curious on both your opinions for this. Do you think DGLO is starting to reach "tinkering too much" territory with the course? Are they starting to bottleneck too many holes with a, "How can we make this hole harder" instead of, "How can we make this hole more interesting/different"?
Like 2 years from now, if hole 1 just turns into an island hole, etc.

@brianwilson6564 and independence lake. Fantastic courses that could easily support a couple rounds of the pro tour. Idk why they're doing 4 rounds at the same course with so many great courses so close to the event.

He should be throwing his signature millennium helios vela which is essentially an older modified eagle mold as far as I know...
That Hole # 2 looks brutal? If the MPO pin location is 680 feet, because of the extreme uphill throw, it is playing like 725 feet it seems. It's weird, at 61 years old I can throw further from a standstill position ( maybe 25 feet further) than I can while doing a run up. It really looks tough to birdie that hole.
WAY more than 725. An 80 foot climb adds way more to the “playing like” distance than that. It takes two pretty powerful shots to get there.
