    They got my Family Home Too, I was a long haul trucker Ocwen Scammed me over while I was on the road, home was worth $65,000 before I remodeled and added a room after my last parent "Mom" passed away I borrowed $45,000 and did a complete remodel job just to lose it 7 years later....
    People beware, the banks that have connections with wall street are still doing this at present, Ocwen is their backdoor Thieves out of a call center in India, even the reverse mortgage commercials on t.v. are scamming older people out of their homes, this video intro and the movie itself is real life stuff, my payment was only $320.00 a month and I made more than enough to have paid my payment if they would have let me, this movie really tells my story as many others.

    • @windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823
      @windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 7 лет назад +3

      TruckerTwotimes The CrAzy One I've heard about stuff like this. Ask around. Real estate agents have their own bankers for things that they like to use. None that I know accept any sort of referral fee (that would be like conflict of interest), and they can help you. Most real estate agents will send you a list of names of bankers they work with all the time to choose from.
      DO NOT go with any company you see on television, a billboard or anyone who solicits YOU. YOU must READ everything, and read it until you UNDERSTAND IT. Ask a lawyer friend to tell you what it says if you aren't clear on it.
      DO NOT EVER, EVER SIGN ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT VERY, VERY CLEAR ON!
      I had a client of mine show me a "pre-approval" he was solicited for via mail. I read it, and my eyes flew open as I said, "This is for 7% interest. NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. That's effing INSANE. It's TWICE what your hypothetical mortgage rate should be."
      Please note, most of these scam artists are NEITHER licensed Realtors, NOR licensed bankers. We HAVE TO be accountable.
      Cash for houses is another scam. They're offering 100k on a house probably worth 130, then they tell you it'll be faster. Not 30 grand faster, I assure you. A good house at a fair price in an area that's hot will go fast. You're probably not paying the Realtors 30 grand on a 100k house (or even 130). When in doubt, ASK them if they are a licensed Realtor or banker, then look them up. The real estate agent's license is probably held by a company not owned by the agent. So, that will be easy to find and validate.
      Please keep in mind that the TV shows and so on that make it look easy are TELEVISION, which is NOT reality. Bankers and agents are like the 85 guys that put on a Rolling Stones concert. They do a lot more than most people understand, stuff you don't see.
      Read ALL that damned fine, tiny print.
      I know a number of good bankers who are honest and fair that I can call 24/7.
      Realize that any house mostly mortgaged, will end up costing about twice what you paid for it. Example: 315,000 house. 5 grand down (depends on what seller wants), comes to about 1,800 a month. Over 30 years, that's 360 months, that's about 650,000. Just under that. So, 800.00 of that is in interest every month.

Parallels in this movie were amazing, captures both sides of the story in a way that truly makes you think. Acting was extremely believable. Jeez, and the meaning behind the name of the title is really a1

    Michael Shannon bringing that same intensity as 'Take Shelter'. Looks great. Hoping Andrew Garfield delivers as well. Still need to see 'Kid A', 'Red Riding', and 'Never Let Me Go'. I thought he was great in 'The Social Network' and that Arcade Fire music video.

    Why are people surprised that if they borrow money from someone, they're supposed to pay it back?
    You don't own the home that you put up as collateral for a massive loan. You bargained it, and then you're surprised when the person you're not paying back wants his or her money back.
