RM76 "Red Rocket" - Mary Valley Rattler - 17/12/2022

On Saturday 17th December 2022, the Mary Valley Rattler operated Rail Motor RM76 "The Red Rocket" in place of the normal steam service for its Classic Rattler run to Amamoor in the scenic Mary Valley.
Rail Motor RM76 was no stranger to this branch line as it used to operate the full length of the line transporting people and goods between Brooloo and Gympie as a daily service.

Good to see at least No.45 got a paint job and is now on display. But also makes me a bit sad to see her not back pulling trains when she was the flagship that started it all. Nice bit of footage Paulie. Merry Christmas mate.

My special needs son really likes "rail motors" like that one he finds them very interesting and highly underrated rail transportation vehicles.

Nope, day service was cancelled due to a driver catching covid and no other drivers being available on short notice

@@maryvalleytrainchasers4209 Back in my day at MVHR a train was never cancelled due to illness. There was always someone that could do it.
