Heh probably 3-4 parts. The first part of every nation will probably cover 1-2 years since he has to get his bearings but after that he can go fast considering his decisions don't have a long term impact on the campaign.
"maybe he could be a threat to the colonisers" A while ago played that region. Took over the whole area, including colonising every bit of coast I could see and a chunk inland. Spain arrived and kicked my arse all over the place. :(
That was back in those days when Westernisation was still a thing. But they weren't satisfied with any peace deal I offered until they could take a 100% deal. Cost me so much of my land that I basically just gave up. My big problem is that I had colonised the entire coast I could see, so I couldn't do the last step of reforming the government and start westernising. I could see the outline of a colony right next to me for a decade at least before the invasion came. If I'd just left a spot within sight for them to colonise I may have had time to do everything before they picked on me.
Even tho I'm excited to see what country he'll randomly tag to next, I'm also sad to not see him continue with Xiu, it looks like it'd be a really interesting playthrough.
How? Did you ever played in that area? I dont think so. Go Colonialism, expand north or south. Conquer native Indians from north or Inca. First europeans invaders will show up. Try to survive allying one of them who will fight wars for you. Expand Americasa more. Exapnd/or invade Asia. Invade europe.
I've played in this area, too, and there's always a long period - or a period that feels long, at least - of absolutely nothing happening. Even the process of trying to get to admin tech 5 so you can get an idea group takes forever, because your tech is so much more expensive than it is for Europeans. Not to mention trying to colonise and move northward with awful diplo tech. It does get fun again after the Europeans arrive, but that period of absolutely nothing happening for what always feels like ages can be mind-numbing.
I could easily see it being a blunder to press too hard and then have the nation fall apart when not controlled by the player. It will be interesting to see if some nations just implode after switching.
You're being so nice (^-^) You tend to play on the edge, pushing advantage, avoiding consequence, and generally manipulating the games systems to the extreme. Aggressive is maybe an appropriate word. I say this because I can tell you're holding back, ever so slightly, to leave the A.I. wiggle room to derp. It's pretty interesting how it impacts your play. This'll be the last time I say it, I promise, but this was *such* a good idea!
You're very right. It's one of those times he'd benefit from a little knowledge of history - Delhi was, historically, one of the most powerful states in India. They ruled over almost the entire peninsula at one point. It's not particularly surprising at all to become a great power as one.
It was the first islamic (and turkish) state to dominate India so deep into the south. At time, no other king of the area could do anything to them. That shows in CK2 latest bookmarks.
- Admiral ariving to the army command centre: man1 - "Oh welcome commander!" man2 - "who is this new commander?" man1 - "He is the new admiral!" man2 - "what is an admiral?" man1- "what do you mean? wait... what is an admiral?" Cohujo Nohotch - "well... its... a...."
Hey Arumba. I hope you’re reading this. Could you turn off terra incognita for this playthrough? I think it would be a lot more fun if you could keep track of your previous countries.
he just wants to reach the end game and try/do the special mechanics of those periods, usually he can't because he already dominate the whole world before the 1800
Yeah, but it was randomly chosen and he'll be changing to another one soon enough in this quantum leap style series. So it's not like it'll matter that much which nations he played before.
Arumba playing fast is actually really fun to watch...
Peter Osborne I wish it’s hard to watch lol
I just imagine him coming to the new world as a European country and finding this country having taken over Central America.
*North and South America, and has started colonizing Russia.
Fixed that for you.
Once an arumba always arumba. This nation has been blessed with powers that you cannot imagine.
Nah, his minmaxing tendencies mean that as soon as he's gone it will collapse into chaos.
I Put The Slav in Slave pretty much
Like any other dictatorship driven by perfectionists
I am very skilled at leading boats
-What's a boat?
I don't know
the local canoe
But the mesoamericans had boats IRL.
One nation every ten years, meaning one new nation every 10 episodes
Heh probably 3-4 parts. The first part of every nation will probably cover 1-2 years since he has to get his bearings but after that he can go fast considering his decisions don't have a long term impact on the campaign.
arumba and the word fast do not exist.

Nice faith no more reference indeed !
This series gonna be amazing
Arumba is uploading so much more am so exited never have I had this much Arumba in one day for years
Angus McGregor You must be young, boi. Arumba used to upload 8 videos a day. Good ol'times
Sometimes even 12 videos a day.
He's got like 12,000 videos he's had to have uploaded a ton of videos every day in the past.
Even tho I'm excited to see what country he'll randomly tag to next, I'm also sad to not see him continue with Xiu, it looks like it'd be a really interesting playthrough.
It's interesting until you conquer everyone in your area. Then it's boring for ages until the Europeans arrive.
Agree quite boring afterwards
How? Did you ever played in that area? I dont think so. Go Colonialism, expand north or south. Conquer native Indians from north or Inca. First europeans invaders will show up. I have almost 6000 hours played so yes I have played in this area 🤴🏻

That estate land revocation tactic is absolute gold and, I am now 100% going to be abusing the hell out of it from now on
Knowing Arumba he will be creating his own memesis
Would be hilarious if he random to a nation that he was fighting with in the last part.
You're being so nice (^-^) You tend to play on the edge, pushing advantage, avoiding consequence, and generally manipulating the games systems to the extreme. Aggressive is maybe an appropriate word.

I like this interesting play style of this game, it actually makes this game interesting.
Nice, only just got done watching the last episode, didn't expect to wake up to this :)
If you come back to this idea once you finish the campaign doing a multiplayer schizophrenic sovereignty might be interesting
Arumba if you roll a nation that you've already played will you play them again or reroll?
I like the idea of this campaign! I hope you'll continue to keep an eye on your former nations throughout the playthrough.
I'd give this one another quantum leap round to properly prepare it as a nice surprise to the early colonizers.
He said he's recorded a few rounds ahead already but maybe if he's lucky he'll roll Xiu again in future and continue the conquest :)
With this kind of head start it'll easily take over all of Mexico easily unless it gets coalitioned.
well shit that went from 0 to 100 in record time
I do think a nation like xiu could get 16 years though. Delhi is a strong nation already
You're very right. It's one of those times he'd benefit from a little knowledge of history - Delhi was, historically, one of the most powerful states in India. They ruled over almost the entire peninsula at one point. It's not particularly surprising at all to become a great power as one.

Not only that but in mot of my games Delhi takes most of India. I believe they are marked as an "interesting nation"
Yea, Delhi dominates the northern part of India and did so historically as well.
Lmao Arumba showing your allies your big rebel stack, classic powermove
- Admiral ariving to the army command centre:
man1 - "Oh welcome commander!"
man2 - "who is this new commander?"
man1 - "He is the new admiral!"
man2 - "what is an admiral?"
man1- "what do you mean? wait... what is an admiral?"
Cohujo Nohotch - "well... its... a...."
I'm hoping he gets Spain or Portugal soon, when they're just finding that area, and allies Xiu. :D
18:30 It is different. It's usually "discover America", but it's different for Native Americans because, you know...
Hey Arumba. I hope you’re reading this. Could you turn off terra incognita for this playthrough? I think it would be a lot more fun if you could keep track of your previous countries.
WE WANT MORE!!!
“Kiche” is pronounced “kee-cheh”
this makes me want a full aztec campaign
This is like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure except you're both Jojo and Dio
Damn, I wish the episodes were longer
You just made many a Yucatán nationalist very happy :P
Is there some kind of self-imposed victory condition to this one? Maybe you win if all eight great powers are nations that you have played?
he just wants to reach the end game and try/do the special mechanics of those periods, usually he can't because he already dominate the whole world before the 1800
Reaaaally good series and good work arumbgod! But please, try to keep every country you play as at like two episodes on youtube please :)
Should just continue with this nation instead. :D
Does Arumba know he has already played this nation back when the expansion came out?
Yeah, but it was randomly chosen and he'll be changing to another one soon enough in this quantum leap style series. So it's not like it'll matter that much which nations he played before.
Can you please play less carefully and at a faster speed?
Dats not the arumba way
That's funny. You're funny
Ew what a horrible concept. No.
yay mesoamerican campaign. Awesome.
For a couple parts.
