Absolutely British brilliance, Clarke is definitely one of the greatest that ever came from England, or anywhere else for that matter, & Bell has shown his greatness through the years as well, together they are one of the best ever hit makers. Their talent far exceeds most of what you hear these days. They should definitely be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The fact that they aren't yet is a true crime to music. I saw them a few years ago in San Francisco, it's the only concert I've ever been to where the entire audience is on its feet from the start of the concert to the finish, I never witnessed that before, and I have been to a lot of concerts in my life, I never saw anything like this before. They put on a show for the ages, and here they are in their '60s, it was unbelievable. The entire album was absolute genius, one of the very best albums I ever bought in my life, it should have been gold, platinum, diamond, it was that good. Every track was absolutely incredible. Their talent truly shows from this album, but you can say that about every album they put out
Vincent Clarke, the Innovator who gave us Erasure, started Depeche Mode and Yazoo and got Joy Division to reassemble as New Order (almost purely unintentionally). Not to mention, The Assembly.
This man's voice was the background to sooo many good times in my life....young , wild , free as a bird and dancing the weekends away in absolute happiness and naughtiness....make the most of your youth...you really never realise how halcyon those times will turn out to be when you look back 😁
Top Music 🎸 Groupe of the 80'is. I wish i can turne back into the good old Days where I was young. Whe had so much funn in the 80'is. I remember the Friday and Saturday Nights in the Disco Named ❤️ ASS in Vehlen. I want to the Disco with Gaby Müller from Obernkirchen. I picked her Up whith my white Golf I. She was my big Love 💘 at these Time, but I dident told her. Why? I don't now. I was sutch a big stupid Idiot at these Time. I miss her so much. HaJue.
Nowadays they don't even need to be good singers, it's all manipulated garbage. Being born in 78 I grew up during the 80s, 90s and I wouldn't trade that for now, not a chance. Everything has just gone insane nowadays. Like a different world.
*I remember running out and buying this on 12 inch record!!* ⏺ Great song with clever lyrics and great vocal delivery from Andy which hushed all those Yazoo comparisons! Still love this song! 🤕💔
I love Andy Bells dancing on this and sometimes, one of the best electro music. Saw them live when Sometimes had just been released another best song from them I have many favourites. Andy's voice is magical and Vince man listen to his music I think they the best duo for me, I like pet shop boys but erasure is 1st. I have to admit I've not listened to them in a good while as the amount of music out there, there is always more music to listen to and I love a lot of genres x
Bring back great memories of the 80's and onecof the best duo's ever great singer and great guitarest we salute you andy bell and vince clark brilliant 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Agree wholeheartedly. Love this duo and as soon as this track comes on I'm throwing some shapes around the kitchen remembering happier more carefree times and far better music like this. The 80s were great musically xx
Anyone else just automatically start dancing randomly when erasure play or just me Jan 2025

Erasure is forever ♾️
❤Still a good song. I can't believe it nearly 37 years since it was in the charts. Time flies too quick.🎉
Take me back to the early 90's Erasure & Fleetwood mac
Vincent Clarke, the Innovator who gave us Erasure, started Depeche Mode and Yazoo and got Joy Division to reassemble as New Order (almost purely unintentionally). Not to mention, The Assembly.

Over 30 years later.... still a top synth tune! Even my kids are Erasure fans! That keyboard solo at 2:14 lives on as one of Vince’s best. Enjoy.....
Zeid Nasser got that right!
Now that's what I call good parenting. ;D
@@BillAnt :) Indeed, best wishes from our family to yours Bill!

The best song erasure ever recorded brilliant 👏
Underrated track
Their best song. Never gets played enough.
Right you ARE- that synth electro ended Rock music's construction but, is that a good thing just because it's uppity?
51 now wish i could go back to them days
Me too.. best years of my life
I remember trying to do that dance Lol … what a numpty I was looking back 😝
Pure 80's synth pop - true audio gold.
And Bell has the best singing voice, I am addicted❤
Not only my favourite erasure song but also one of my top ten favourite pop songs of the eighties.
This is Andy and Vince at their very best.
Still wonderful. 🕺🏼
What did they know about making music back in the 80s and 90s that they don’t have a clue about today .
spirit. Soul
and good technical knowledge people are un-aware of.
Nowadays they don't even need to be good singers, it's all manipulated garbage. Being born in 78 I grew up during the 80s, 90s and I wouldn't trade that for now, not a chance. Everything has just gone insane nowadays. Like a different world.

I've seen them live twice & they still got it. I love em & not ashamed to admit it.! CLASS!
Genau das mach ich auch nicht mehr. Ich bin 50 , hete und liebe seit ü. 30 Jahren Erasure.
I started listening to this group again recently. Brought back some great memories of the late 80's/early 90's. They made some great tunes.
Good for you
And mid 80's in 85/86
The late 80’s and early 90’s were the best.
Depeche, New Order, Erasure!!!
This kind of music is awesome. They don't do music like that anymore.
Como puede ser que este temazo tenga solo 1 millon de vistas?! Por favor! Que mundo Señor, que mundo!
El Resto, está mirando a Maluma.. lo que se pierden!

Such an underrated band!
They were HUGE in the 80s and 90s, at least in the UK, and largely beyond. You're probably too young to remember :-)
@@petermm8119 They also were huge in Germany, but it's true that there are countries where they are almost unheard of, like France.
They weren't huge in USA ..but in Latin America they were huge like pet shop boys ..depech mode..information society. New order dead or alive..OMD....
I was a kid when used to listen all these duos and grups
Aaah, the beautiful distinctive '80's sounds that also resemble a bit to a Stock/Aytken/Waterman .
Erasure songs always have such great melodies ☺
"I really luv this jam; keep, up the " Good " work using your band to sing so well."
We are victims of love Pamz ♥!!
I love all of the erasure arrangements. Each song has several layers. Erasure is such an amazing polyphonic experience. Thank you, Vince and Andy.
what a song! the synths and vocals are just perfect. Synth at 2.14 is just too good. 2nd only to Drama! for me. Amazing
