I’ve learned that working in groups just doesn’t work in music. Even if everyone’s got the same vision, it’ll always lead to tensions SOMEWHERE. You can do collabs and whatever else but don’t build a whole house around a partnership.
100% only a very few groups have been able to stand the test of time. or they don't collab "as much" like Bad Meets Evil, Drake x Future, Trav x Quavo etc.

Although Thug is known for his originality and unique flow, people don't understand that he got that from Lil Wayne. Love Thug, but I wouldn't say it was a sound no one's heard before. This was the Wayne on heavy lean-type of flow from back in the day. He would be so fucked up and slurred his words. After he took it easy on the lean, he didn't do it as much any more. The thing was, that lean-influenced flow was fucking hard so people were still hungry for that. That's when Young Thug came in and took it to a whole other level.
Lil Baby and Gunna will never have what Quan and Thug had. Chemistry and harmony on a musical, but not on a personal one. Thug was too wild. When he started going hard with YSL, he shot everyone up. Big Nut, Lil Wayne's tour bus, Lucci's mom, and even Quan's dad. That's why Quan won't ever fuck with Thug no more, and he was cool with Big Nut too.
