Kol continuously tried to be included in the family and Finn wasn't daggered for leaving, he was daggered for being too judgy. And Rebekah, Rebekah was always foolishly loyal to him, she wasn't lost , she was craving love and attention because she wasn't given that by Her brothers. And the Elijah part was right, he was guilty and only put Klaus 's redemption over everything including his other's siblings happiness. And he couldn't even properly redeem or "help" Klaus. My point is that , his siblings were always fulfilling that role but Klaus 's paranoia, abandonment issues never allowed him to see that. And him being a Mikaelson didn't help that. And someone raised a point that he felt like they never understood him and were pitying him. And about the "always and forever" vow well the trio made it and they made a point to not include others like ever e.g Kol and Finn

Be honest, tell me if I'm the only one who sees that there's fucking tension between Stefan and Klaus. Even though Stefan had a fling with Kkaus's sister Rebekah, he spent much more screen time with Klaus, who seemed to have a stronger bond with him. From their past in the '20s to Stefan's desperation to kill the Originals and their subsequent friendship, there's been a lot of fire. Let's say that the chemistry between the two characters would be almost sexual. Between Klaus' sweet words with his accent and Stefan being so macho, it could make a good remake of Brokeback Mountain. I would have liked more LGBTQ+ romances in Vampire Diaries, as that could have provided some interesting storylines.
No, trust me you're not the only one who sees it! Literally when I introduced TVD to my friend she instantly picked up on it, and our favorite thing to do during their scenes is make suggestive remarks and make everything they say to each other sound dirty lmao. which isn't hard since Klaus frequently uses his bedroom voice when talking to Stefan 🙄🤣 And yeah the one thing that really dates this show is the lack of LGBTQ+ relationships or characters that weren't just background. The only one you really had was the two heretics in season seven but they aren't the focus and then they die. The only Male characters that are gay we never see them have a relationship or even any romantic interests on screen. But I could honestly make a case for like half of the main cast being Bi, or Pan, if you're just counting the sexual tension haha.

It felt like the writers realized that the Originals were missed and tried to recreate them, but they were nowhere on the same level as the og's (pun intended lol) I kind of remember there being some Caroline/Nora feels though?
