Bosch 36v Strimmer Review Cordless Battery Strimmer VS Barry's Allotment

I've gained control over our overgrown allotment, long grass and weeds with the powerful AdvancedGrassCut 36 cordless grass trimmer. A strimmer running on Bosch 36v lithium ion batteries for powerful performance without the hassle of petrol or power leads, The Bosch Dual-line cutting system provides efficient cutting and high-quality results . The hassle-free, semi-auto spool eliminates the need for manual adjustments.
After using for a few months there are advantages over mains powered strimmer's. Its portable and light weight and even spits in two for transport or storage. The disadvantages compared to mains powered versions are the increased cost to buy. And run time is limited to the amount of battery power you have (20-30 minutes with our 2ah capacity battery). And although charging is fast at just 1.5 hours, spare batteries are expensive.
There are many advantages to using rechargeable battery powered strimmer's instead of petrol strimmer's. They have all the advantages of being portable and are even more portable being lighter weight and needing no flammable fuel. Electric motors have none of the hassle that comes with maintain and servicing a petrol engine. And there is no need to buy, transport and store fuels and oils etc.
The only disadvantage rechargeable strimmer's have compared to petrol is limited run time. That can be overcome by buying more batteries. But at present each spare genuine Bosch high capacity battery cost more than an entry level petrol strimmer.

I'm pretty surprised to see you do this without shoes. I had a mains powered Bosch version which was a terrible design. The strimmer head typically fell off every two-three seconds. In addition the line supplied was so was weak it also was broke within seconds. As the tool was suppled new it was totally useless. After a few simple mods I now have a practical usable tool.

Thank you for making this video my front garden looks about the same size as your allotment I'm in the throws of going electric as all the garden petrol stuff is just a massive pain to keep running and maintain, I recently got an electric mower and a hedge trimmer they both work first time every time, I just need a strimmer I was thinking about going battery but you have helped me out on that choice I have 50 Meters of extension cable so I can reach anyplace in my garden so no expensive battery for me cables for the win...thanks once again mate appreciated your insight 👍

I think you need a stihl petrol trimmer and stihl petrol blower along with a ride on petrol mower over there
