I just checked out the portfolio of the person who made this illustration and it is damn impressive. Iv'e downloaded 70% of his work to keep for future personal use as I also wish to one day draw like that.

I don't want life without epic adventure. I want life full of excitement, like in novels about magic/dragons/dungeons and so one.
"You think that you can defeat me?" She says as I enter into the room, flames ringed the walls around her.
I froze. She was not even looking at me yet she knew that I had entered. She turned to face me, her silver hair gleaming on the surrounding flames.
"Don't act so surprised, I saw your shadow appear in the flames. I will ask you again. Do you think you can defeat me?"
I shook my head no. "I do not think I can beat you, I only know that I must."
She walked towards a large black blade leaning against a wall under a flame. She stared at it and grasped the handle. I stared in awe as she lifted the giant blade with ease and aimed it at me.
"You need to defeat me so you can find HER, is that it?"
I nodded and slowly drew my blade. "Nothing will stop me until I reach her."
She smirked. "Well then, let me test that resolve."
She dashed towards me, her blade poised to strike, the flames that had shined on the walls now followed her blade. As her blade met mine, the flames surrounded us into a cage made of fire. We struck each other, blow for blow, strike for strike, slash for slash. When we backed away from each other, attempting to catch our breathes, we were both covered in cuts, blood, and our tattered armor hung loosely from our bodies.
"You are doing well," She stated. "You have matched me fairly in strength of blade. But I can see you strength lies in your will." She plunged her blade into the ground and the wall of fire surrounding us dissipated. I looked at her, curiously.
"You may pass," She said smiling. "You have proven your worth. Go onward towards your goal. You and your Invincible will."

"Hmph. Did you ever for a second really think that _you_ could defeat _me_ ?"
She said, sitting on her throne of envisaging flames, both blindingly bright and swallowingly dark. Looking at those flames, you always knew that _you_ couldn't defeat her.
Scratch her? Yes. Maim her? Maybe. But defeat her? _You_ ? Never.
Your clothes are in tatters, your armor bashed and broken. You remove it, for it can no longer protect you, as it was sworn to do.
You look at it, making sure to never forget your adventures with it. Never to forget the fun, the joy, the sorrow and the sacrifices made, just so you could face her.
You stand up straight, your wounds stretching and increasing the burning pain from her flames. You grasp the hilt of your trusted blade. One that has suffered alongside you, and that will suffer more.
The blade glows a soft white as you grasp it with both your hands. The runes etched onto its surface gleam with the ancient magic of the gods, every crevice of them glowing an increasing and pure white.
You look at her, into those battle-hardened, bewitching eyes, and you smile kindly.
"No. _I_ could never defeat you..."
Her face twists into an expression of surprise as she looks at your form. Your wounds heal, your scars fade, and your mind stands tall.
*_"But we will"_*
Your blade and you both stand, screaming white light shining off of your bodies. A blinding light that consumed her flames, consumed the earth, the sky. It left nothing but a white world of your power, drowning out any other in the tidal wave of your will.
One of steel, the other of flesh, but together, you could stand against even the gods.
Alone, you were nothing, an insignificant speck of dust in a sandstorm. But together, you were...

I stood atop a corpse-strewn battlefield, the only remnant of an army torn to shreds by the Ash Raven. She stood several hundred feet away, a flaming gauntlet on her right arm, and an impossibly large sword in her left hand. She twirled it between her fingers as if it were weightless, and I stepped forward, my foot landing in a puddle of blood merely minutes old. The sound caught her attention, and her head darted to look me in the eye. Reaching out, I summoned an emerald pillar of flame from the earth, and I retrieved my katana
"I'm ready" I whispered
"Your father and your father's father all thought similarly" her silk voice sounded in my mind
"It is our legacy"
"It is your *doom* "
"Then so be it"
She leapt at me, fire gathering at her back in the form of wings
"This is the cycles' end" I said
"And the birth of a new age"
The monk valiantly fought the demon king that slaughtered his monastery 5 years ago and he would have defeated the demon king, too if the demon did not sacrifice years of his life to break the seal the monk placed on him. The Demon held the monk paralyzed in a state of excruciating pain with its telekenetic powers and prepared it's ultimate attack: a celestial lightning bolt that could erase anything from existence. Tears welled-up in the monk's eyes, but not from fear, from regret. "Master, I failed you." Said the monk as he awaited his demise. Suddenly, the monk heard a familiar voice say: "You haven't failed me, you surpassed me." "But if you die you'll fail your friends." Memories of the Monk's friends flashed before his eyes before being drowned out by the demon king's cackling. "NO! I won't let them die" thought the Monk as he began to rise from the ground. Upon noticing this, the demon king maximized the intensity of his telekenetic attack. The monk screamed in pain and began to fall, but regained his balance. He tried to stand again, but the pain was too much for him to rise above a crouching state. It was as if the ground opened up and he was immersed in hellfire. The monk heard his master's voice again: "That attack would kill most men 20x over, but you're still fighting it." 'And that's why you are my best pupil. every time i knocked you down, you got back up." "Forget about the king, you're in my dojo now" Suddenly, the demon king's chamber dissapeared and he could no longer hear the cries of his comrades fighting the demon king's army. Somehow, the monk was back in his master's dojo and was In the middle of a live memory of one of his most intense training drills; sparring with his master while being weighed down with 2 buckets of water on his back which were held in place with a bamboo pole. The monks master managed to sweep his legs, causing him to fall to the ground. The buckets fell to the ground, soaking him. At this moment, part of the Monk's consciousness snapped back to the present; he was in both situations at once. His master's voice called to him again: "I just knocked you down. Now, what are you going to do?' The Monk steeled his body for what he was about to do, and replied "I-Im going" A blue aura began to form around the Monk as he called his metallic, bladed boomerangs to his hands. "I'm going to get up!" exclaimed the Monk as he slowly began to rise. The demon king grew nervous as his lightning bolt was not quite done charging. "I-Impossible, no mortal can withstand that much pain!" The Monk was almost standing upright, but just before he managed to break free of the demon king's spell the demon kings attack finished charging and was now sparking at the tip of his trident. "Too late, Monk. You were skilled for a mortal, but now I'll
erase you like I erased the rest of your monestary! " Exclaimed the demon king as he fired his celestial lightning bolt at the monk. At this moment, the monk freed himself from the demon's spell with an explosion of blue energy. His eyes glowed red, a stark contrast to the bright blue aura surrounding his body. The lightning bolt exploded with tremendous force from the demon king's trident, vaporizing everything in its path. The Monk, however managed to jump out of its way just before the bolt reached him. The demon king let out primal roar and began charging a second lightning bolt. The monk, though was not going to give the demon king a second chance. In a heartbeat, the monk was slashing at the demon king's throat with the boomerang in his right hand. The demon king barely had time to parry the blow. As the demon king raised his claws to deflect the Monk's second boomerang, he noticed that the monk's left hand was empty! At that moment, the Monks second boomerang sped through the air and embedded itself into the demon kings back. The monk had thrown it before charging the demon king and then used his spiritual powers to force the blade back into his hand, through the chest of the demon king. 'THAT WAS FOR MY MONASTERY' bellowed the monk, who then swiftly disarmed the demon king, and screamed ' AND THIS IS FOR MY MASTER' as he split the demon king from head to navel with his boomerangs.

I imagine a scene where a battlemaiden falls in battle to a great opponent. The opponent of hers turns her back to her after a long fight they both had. Injured and tired as he is he goes away to seek shelter, only to hear a rumbling after a couple seconds. he turns arround, seeing magical force emit from the Maiden's body as she slowly stands up to continue fighting with her newfound and regained strength. When one's flesh is wounded, the willpower will become diminished. But when death grasps for you, it is up to you if you choose to live or die.
I dont know if that made any sense i just thought of this while listening to this song, it is seriously epic and this is what i see when i hear such tunes.

She wasn't just strong. She wasn't just beautiful, the men thought as they dropped to their knees, staring at her unearthly form. Flames surrounded her figure and she stared at them with a fierce glare, as if challenging them to see if they had the guts to take her on. But they couldn't. They just couldn't. She was invincible... no one could stop her now.

2:30 EPIC!
She's the Sun and i am the moon. Darkness fell around her and i am the only thing that preserves the fragile balance that the Earth has, the earth slowly dies daily due to her bitter rays of light , yet when the earth is in peril i stand in between to give the earth to give it a fighting chance. The earthlings call it an eclipse. I call it a race to find a way to appease my sister.
Today is the day she fell upon me sword in hand, her flames sundering the dark tat surrounded me for so long, and took away the light of my northern star a star that once close enough could've radiated earth to fulfill its needs and none of the bitterness... but she snuffed it out, eager to make me bitter as her....she succeeded.
I pulled out my blade as she turned to me , her silvery hair alight in her flames. "You think you can kill your beloved sister?" she almost laughed at the notion as i stared grimly.
" For her sake and theirs , i have to ...i can not give them the warmth they need...but like a phoenix...after your death you'll be reformed, my only wish...is that you were yourself, innocent and loving....what made you bitter..."
She growls," They praise you for the reprieve you give them , the warmth and dew in the morn while my light is radiant and they fault me for burning their crops, their forests, and they ask for me to recall that which is mine? My light shouldn't be turned down for those ants, they should be thankful i give it to them at all....they don't even give me reverence, why shouldn't they feel my wrath!?" She glares at me," And you, the moon stand with them...shield them!? and they give you reverence!! They're supposed to hate the night!!
I shake my head," but without night there can be no sleep, no silence ....and yet without your light ....there is no harvest, it's a tender balance , a balance you've forgotten. The cycle eternal. Life and death, Night and day on and on..."
She smirks," and you hope that with my death the cycle can continue on...i hope not. Sounds like hell." She then charges ," Well i hope for your sake you have something better than facing me head on , brother, because my radiant light is all that give you yours!" I stand my ground, before blocking her overwhelming strike at the last second , moving to the right as i let her momentum carry her blade past mine letting her stumble a few steps due to her blade sliding past catching the sparks on other our sword,s" Little trickster, face me and die like the traitor you are." I hold up my blade again, the soft shimmering silver of te blade matching the glimmer of moonlight as i lift up my cloak the very night sky embedded in it, as the dark surrounds us. She looks at me," you think this will do, light beats the dark ...every....single...time." I say nothing as my blade is the only thing visible...for the moment. soon like the new moon it wanes and disappears. She growls as she makes slashes with her sword , no doubt to give light. However she herself radiates with it," only a matter of time dear brother....how long do you think you can last?" I stand still , knowing that it wouldn't be very long.

thank you for listening :) I know and understand what you mean, but for this particular track i wanted to showcase the strings mostly, that is why the c1st choirs are kinda in the back of the whole track...building up some kind of a path for the second choirs which came in slightly louder :D thank you.

Armor is to reduce the damage done by hits. But if all attacks are lethal, then agility would be more important than armor.
You're up against a 45 foot long dragon. You'll die in one hit regardless of how much armor you can wear. In which case it's better to not wear armor. :)
