This came out really cute!! As someone who damaged her first set of locs with bleach, im really glad u did this bc I didn't think you could get vibrant color without using bleach. I've been itching to dye my locs again and now I might use this method.
This turned out really pretty and perfect for your skin tone🥰. I just recently freshened up the color on my locs with red and orange. It really resembles the autumn leaves on the tress🍁 I never color my roots though.
I’ve watched your videos from the time you started your new set of locs.. your locs are so beautiful and your growth is immaculate. Thank you for sharing your journey, you’ve helped me so much with mine with being so transparent. Thank you!
It looks so good!!!!! I did the red and magenta before years ago. Do blonde this week and installing microlocs!!! Good for you for the new year changes!!! Wishing you many blessings!!
So this motivated me to dye my hair. It’s been 1.5 since I locd my hair so I’m praying I’m not about to damage my hair … but Imma follow your video lol
I watched you video several times...im using a developer because my hair is BLACK BLACK with 20 years of growth. I trusted your process thank you for sharing.
Your hair looks gorgeous! I have sisterlocks. At the 1yr mark, I used a box dye...it barely took. 1.5 months later, I used Loreal Hicolor Deep Auburn Red. I wanted it a little brighter, but I love this cinnamon color I ended up with. P.S...may gray hairs were PINK! LOL
You put a lot of recording and effort and editing into this! Love it 💕 Thanks. Love the color also I think I might try Avalon organics? Looking for a new shampoo
Its Gorgeous ! Can u please tell me if u think I can use those products on my locs as I have used rinses & I never knew much about developer..I was getting frustrated using regular box dye & it not taking on my locs, I was about to give up thinking maybe my hair is just to dark, I never wanna use bleach..(natural dark brown hair that looks almost black) I have a rinse now similar to your color..btw, at the end, you're eyebrows are doing EVERYTHING for me girl !😊
Thank you so much! I didn't want to use bleach either but be mindful, developer is still going to lift your hair too, it's just not as harsh as bleach. I haven't had any issues with it so far so I would def recommend you look more into this method as an option and decide if you want to try it!
What type of gel/custard do you retwist with to put curlers? I tried to curl my hair but it didn't work because I used flax seed gel. I have beeswax but sometimes that snatches my hair out with it
Thank you! I actually left it on way too long, the instructions say to leave the back on for like 15/20 mins and then do the roots for 10 mins I believe. Don't quote me though lol.
My locs feel dry and brittle after using L’Oréal hicolor. I definitely don’t plan to dye my hair ever again unless I go back to black for the last time.

This came out so cute! Definitely inspired me to try some color when my locs mature.🖤
What does the brush do?
I'm going to make a video about it but it helps reduce lint in your hair, scalp stimulation and more!

I never use gel to curl my hair, just water!
I love it! How long have you been loc. I’m 6 months in and I want to dye mine.

It looks really good

That beat sounds too familiar. Sounds like off the video game Donkey Kong 2 but love the video
Thank you!
How long did you leave it in? I'm not sure if I missed that part..
not long because it started tingling very quickly! maybe 30-40 mins?
Your root may have come out so bright because you washed before dying your hair
It's giving me Chuckie doll vibes lol but still very cute. ❤️❤️
lmfao chuckie?!?!?
Supercute.
Thank you!

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that. I haven't had that experience as of yet.
