A little tip for saving tomato paste, apple sauce, stock etc is to freeze in ice cube trays. When it is frozen pop them out into a freezer bag. Then you can take out only the amount you need so no waste.
I love watching large families but the one thing I see repeatedly is the girls are usually the ones in the kitchen. Single mom of two sons boys need to learn how to clean, cook, sew, so very important. My oldest son is married with kids and his wife was not taught to cook and clean thankgod he does know how.
But you are also directing your other resources to learn homemaking skills at 'daughters', is there a reason you specify the gender rather than to say 'children'?
She had a link to her book about boys learning these skills. I have it in my Amazon cart for the future since I apparently only give birth to male children lol

Amy, I just found your channel and am admiring your hability to organize and cook /prepare your meals in just a few days for the whole month! Do you homeschool your children? You have so much energy and are so positive, I just want to congratulate you. I love to see your children helping out in the kitchen. I did this type of thing only in smaller quantities to help my grandmother, when she was old, disabled and didn't have someone around to cook for her. It really helped her a lot. I worked at an office, so I cooked on saturday and brought her enough food for the week on Sunday, I would check how she was doing and visit, everything packaged and well organized so she just had to warm it up or heat it in the microwave oven when she was hungry or at every meal. Of course I cooked for my family as well, and I find it was very convenient for all of us to have things ready to cook or already cooked. You take this to a higher level though!!!
Have you ever thought of making a cook book of all the food you make. Or doing a download cook book. Some of the things you made I would love to try, maybe in smaller portions.

Oh great idea
You are amazing... I want to see how you reheat these meals..... Like grilled cheese how do you reckon them.... And how long does this stuff stay good frozen like the salads??? Don't they go bad
We cook on a skillet. Salads don't go in the freezer :). They will last two weeks if produce stays dry
@@amymaryon so salads just put in the fridge and the lettuce didn't go brown since you put stuff on it? Maybe I'm using the wrong kid of lettuce
I get the romaine from Sam's club and the leafy box..
Ok wait what !!! salad keeps 2 weeks in the fridge??? just chop & seal no magic ??? And that egg hack defo using it
Honestly, all I can say is wow... what an inspiration you are!
I don't like to freeze food I'm Hispanic and we regularly do our food fresh daily. But I'm impressed the way you cook I wouldn't be able to do it thought!!!!!!
Thank you
Would you consider making videos on your daily cooking routine? That would be fascinating. I'd rather have fresh meals, but it's a struggle with the clean up and cook time it takes me until 9 o'clock! How do you do it?
I agree. That is why I do freezer meals. Less clean up
@@Sanecrist Yes I have just to show viewers what we cook in my original country of "El Salvador" I don't cook as much as when my kids were little they all married and gone just make meals for my husband and I but everyday I make fresh meals I believe it's important to enjoy at least a wonderful fresh dinner!!!!!!
Megan Loop don’t get caught up on the frozen part! These meals are indeed fresh!! You made them fresh and when thawed and prepped for serving it’s all done freshly!! Just because you saved yourself an hour or so in prep and actual cook time don’t feel guilty!!! And the food really tastes delish! Can’t tell it’s been frozen!
It all looks amazing. Lots of work, but the helping hands make it easier, and y'all are spending time together, win win!
Yes it is
You are an amazing and hardworking mom! Kudos to you! I've been curious if you throw your plastic away or recycle for the next grocery haul. Same for the foil pans. Does that get costly buying the plastic and foil pans? Blessings♥️
Not at all. U can see how many I used this month. We will reuse as much as we can. Plastic bags reuse too
I have never processed my veggies before But going to start. My family use to cook this way & it saved alot of time. Going back to my roots & then some.
This was so relaxing to watch...Like a restaurant assembly line...Nice!
You are an incredible meal planner! I’ve learned so much from your videos! thank you!

Wow yall have a good system, for large cooking, tfs, loving your channel, an have a blessed weekend too!

Just stumbled upon your videos- I am enjoying them very much. I do find myself having to rewind quite a bit to hear/understand what you are saying- you speak SO fast! I’m from NY and we talk very fast too - it’s worth the rewind for sure but if it is at all possible slowing down just a bit while speaking-? You have such great information- great ideas and are sharing so much with us . I hope this post doesn’t come off as “fresh” - it is not how I mean it at all- just- I feel like I’m missing a lot of what you are saying. Thank you for sharing everything
Thank you for watching
You can change the speed of videos on RUclips. On the upper right corner of the video you’ll find 3 dots in a row, click on it, then on change speed and you’ll have options to slow down or speed up.
Thanks for sharing that
She has a lot to say with little time! I love that she is quick rather that waste time getting it out!! 😉😘

I appreciate that you keep everything in the video; it makes it easier to follow.
Yes I am trying to be more mindful of what I am recording :)
Superwoman !
The breakfast burritos are a great idea. I'm going to try that. Granted my kids are adults now,but they still love certain things that I make.
Ty for the vids. They def give me ideas for future use.
I am glad you enjoy :).
It just amazes me how much you're able to do. Don't the sandwiches get mushy or soggy? Grilled cheese and regular.
