....How did I end up here. No kids, no interest, and I generally can't make up my mind what to eat on a daily basis. This is like... project management level meal planning. I'm impressed and distinctly overwhelmed just watching it.

A little tip for saving tomato paste, apple sauce, stock etc is to freeze in ice cube trays. When it is frozen pop them out into a freezer bag. Then you can take out only the amount you need so no waste.

I love watching large families but the one thing I see repeatedly is the girls are usually the ones in the kitchen. Single mom of two sons boys need to learn how to clean, cook, sew, so very important. My oldest son is married with kids and his wife was not taught to cook and clean thankgod he does know how.

Amy, I just found your channel and am admiring your hability to organize and cook /prepare your meals in just a few days for the whole month! Do you homeschool your children? You have so much energy and are so positive, I just want to congratulate you. I love to see your children helping out in the kitchen.
I did this type of thing only in smaller quantities to help my grandmother, when she was old, disabled and didn't have someone around to cook for her. It really helped her a lot. I worked at an office, so I cooked on saturday and brought her enough food for the week on Sunday, I would check how she was doing and visit, everything packaged and well organized so she just had to warm it up or heat it in the microwave oven when she was hungry or at every meal.
Of course I cooked for my family as well, and I find it was very convenient for all of us to have things ready to cook or already cooked. You take this to a higher level though!!!

I don't have a large family, but I am learning so much from you!! I'm disabled and there are some days making dinner ( really any kind of cooking) is impossible for me. So having things in the freezer will be so much help. I'm also determined to learn how to make bread, homemade pizza dough, etc. So I'm watching all your video's that you have about them too. I don't know why but making them is very intimidating to me though lol. Thank you for sharing your life with us!! Take care!!

My friend has 2 boys and we spend a lot of time together and her boys can be picky eaters so I'm loving the pureed idea to get the flavor in!
Also, I love your use of scissors. Us koreans use scissors a lot instead of a knife so it's nice seeing someone else do the same. And the garlic you put in your foods....you are my garlic soul sister! I generally put about 5x more garlic than the recipe calls for!

I have learned many things from watching your videos, but Using scissors for so many things besides cutting paper, is something I never realized you could do, until I watched you, I cut up so many things now, has sped up my prep time, thank you so much., and how do you make so many salads and have them not go bad in a day or two.Wow best one yet, I am totally doing the birds nest hash browns in the muffins tins.

Don't cut the lettuce with a knife. I tear then. Place wet ingredients towards bottom and lettuce on top. Scissors are my favorite!

Try freezing the minced green onions in ice cube trays first. Then once frozen, transfer the all the onion cubes into a labeled freezer bag. This helps with organizing the freezer and equal postion sizes. This technique works great for homemade babyfood too!

Amy- You are a life saver. Recently my brother, his pregnant wife and their 2 small sons moved in with, myself, my husband and my parents. So now we have 6 adults and 2 1/2 kids to feed. I usually plan out meals for the whole month anyways, but now with them I have had to double the dinners. I use the same crock pot you have! It is so wonderful for when I make chili's and soups, chicken and dumplings! Tonight our dinner menu consists of cubed steak, mashed potatoes with gravy and sweetened green beans and dinner rolls. I most def. will be watching your videos!

I like to keep frozen garden tomatoes in the freezer but add one or two containers to store bought ones to add the garden freshness during the winter.

Megan Loop don’t get caught up on the frozen part! These meals are indeed fresh!! You made them fresh and when thawed and prepped for serving it’s all done freshly!! Just because you saved yourself an hour or so in prep and actual cook time don’t feel guilty!!! And the food really tastes delish! Can’t tell it’s been frozen!

Just stumbled upon your videos- I am enjoying them very much. I do find myself having to rewind quite a bit to hear/understand what you are saying- you speak SO fast! I’m from NY and we talk very fast too - it’s worth the rewind for sure but if it is at all possible slowing down just a bit while speaking-? You have such great information- great ideas and are sharing so much with us . I hope this post doesn’t come off as “fresh” - it is not how I mean it at all- just- I feel like I’m missing a lot of what you are saying. Thank you for sharing everything
