- On April 30th 2017 at 10:30AM I finally stepped off the treadmill I spent the previous 24 hours straight running on.
To date, my most challenging running experience. Physically very demanding, it was mentally excruciating. Imagine running 24 hours straight, at pace, with the constant fear of falling off the back or accidentally grabbing the side of the treadmill (disqualification), in high heat with serious chafing going on, staring at a dot on a wall 5 meters away.
I made it because my WHY was bigger than any excuse to stop.

One day I was running on the treadmill and I felt pain on my left shin but I couldn't stop my goal was to run for 2 hours non stop at a steady pace and there was a question popping in my mind. What's pain? My answer was it's a temporary feeling but regrets are permanent this kept me going till I completed. Runners tends to transcend themselves in the course of running probably called the zone.
I can barely do 15mins lol
I appreciate this person’s such a high quality attempt. This is truly amazing. I would like to test myself how many hours I could do.
Then do it! See it, plan it, do it. If I did it anyone else can
so you allowed bathroom breaks
How far can you run on a treadmill in 24 hours? 2 miles? Bet you’d take a “bathroom break” just to go cry in the bathroom alone after 1 mile so nobody could see you’re just a trolling computer warrior.
@@jamesoconnor9452 it's a good question man
This would be the most calories burnt in one day
amazing effort !!!!
You're truly an Ironman!
This is one of the greatest physical achievements of all time, and it has only 7k views? Says a lot about how vapid our world has become.
Thank you for your comment James. Glad you enjoyed the story and the effort and passion that went into it

No human is limited
Yup and the best example is the fact that this isn't even the current world record. The current record is 264.5km (164.36 miles) and is held by Bjørn Tore Taranger. A former overweight punk rock drummer.
I’m gonna break it
❤️
