I guess non monetary compensation would be recognition...in terms of putting person on a interview panel if he is really good .that is recognition...or may be a person work.witj leadership on a projects that's helps in upskilling but not tangible...or certification...free training and certification on a particular skills...subsidise on further education....
Longevity policy, retention policy...giving away equity, bonus shares etc based on point system on performance or even if it is non performance base it should be at subsidise rate as compare to rest of the world
Appreciation...also helps in motivation and revognition

There is difference between compensation and benefits
Example.
Compensation is salary, transportation etc.
And the other Monetary rewards you have discussed are benefits ( Medical, bonus etc)
