It is quite understandable that in certain circumstances adhoc judges can be appointed. In any case when such a situation arises then it must be fully justified. This should be carried out by a committee and not by the CJ alone. This will avoid any conflict of interest or to gain any benefit particularly the political ones. Any objection made by an interested party must also be taken account of it.
In the present situation 3 of the 4 adhoc judges have declined to Qazi Esa on his approach. Qazi Esa has clearly demonstrated his bias approach to PTI for long time. He gives the reasons for bringing the adhoc judges at this time as a result of large no. of outdtanding cases. If this is so then why has he not bothered and tried to overcome the problem before. In bringing the adhoc judges of his choice now he simply wants to achieve a majority who could support him in making decisions against PTI. The whole sector is now talking about him on this basis. This is not the basis on which any judgement should be given. Unfortunately, Qazi Esa has damaged his own position and credibility being a chief justice. So he should either resign now or he should wait as not far away from his retirement. Qazi keep some respect but do not try to enter into some new adventure as you will be highly disappointed. Show some respect to your fellow judges and all the lawyers who present their cases to you. Throw out your arrogant behaviour
What public wants from our judiciary is their honesty, indepence and their credibile judgements based upon the Laws and the Constitution of the country. All their judgements must not show as if they have done any political favour to any party. This must not be expected by anyone when their cases being herd by any Court. Naturally, a true and an honest judgement will show the loss and gain by the interested parties. But this must be acceptable by both the parties and no such criticism should come, particularly from the Govt or any of their politicians, which could lead to the contempt of court. Public expects all the institutions to their job in an honest and decent manner and not in a corrupt and selfish manner. Judiciary is our highest institution and they must not do their job under any pressure, greed or corruption. If they perform in this manner, they themselves are criminals of justice.
Do not forget we all are answerable to Allah swt one day for all our conducts in this life and it is part of our Iman. Do not make mockery of our religion.
